While Rigel watched the ship burn, and he made sure Diabolus stayed in the lower part of the Demeter in case Dracula tried to escape by sea.

If it were night, Rigel would have left long ago, if they managed to escape, but during the day, Dracula was like a turtle trapped in its shell.

Rigel immediately sensed the connection through Diabolus. Dracula actually tried to escape by sea, but something surprised him, as soon as he touched the water, Dracula was completely paralyzed. There was no expected fight against Diabolus, instead, Diabolus simply swallowed Dracula.

The vampire's cry of pain made the waves churn, but Dracula could do nothing.

This confused Rigel even more, but luckily the adventure book appeared before him.

[In the myth from which this Dracula came, vampires cannot cross running water, meaning they cannot swim and can be paralyzed and even destroyed by water, depending on their power.]

Rigel was even more speechless, he couldn't cross flowing water, and yet he actually got into a boat sailing in the open sea?

Damn! That Dracula is a fucking genius!

Even so, Rigel only wanted to thank him for his stupidity now, if Dracula had arrived in London, he would have turned around and not set foot in London anytime soon, but now?

However, while Rigel was mocking him, he realized something was wrong, he soon felt the weight inside him again, this time even heavier than destroying ghosts or the undead. He collapsed, vomiting up everything he had eaten.

"Captain!" Will rushed over, helping him up.

Rigel's eyes were bloodshot as the wand in his hand trembled audibly. Rigel could even feel that it was reaching a certain limit and if he didn't stop soon, the wand would be destroyed. This guy's curse was far, far superior to previous ghosts, or perhaps it was just that Dracula, with a clear conscience, could fight back while being "digested" by Diabolus, maybe a mixture of the two.

Thinking quickly, Rigel controlled Diabolus to jump out of the water along with Dracula.

The vampire figure was visible inside the green serpent, but the sight lasted only a moment, the sunlight was not blocked even though Dracula was inside the Diabolus.

Beyond the power of Diabolus, Dracula began to burn! Rigel controlled Diabolus to continue rising as high as possible, heading straight for the sky in a straight line.

The vampire screamed as he burned, Rigel dispersed Diabolus, sensing that his wand was reaching its limit.

Dracula was not happy, now outside of Diabolus, his power already consumed and severely damaged, the sun beat down on him even more intensely. He wanted to fly away to find a place to hide, but there was no time. His wings burned first, then his bat-like body. By the time he hit the water, he was nothing but pieces of charcoal.

Unfortunately, Rigel didn't see any of that, he fainted right after dispersing Diabolus.

A groan of pain was heard inside the Interceptor, Elizabeth, who was waiting beside him, woke up to the groan.

"Rigel!" She yelled as soon as she saw Rigel writhing in pain, trying to move.

"Water." He pleaded, his throat dry, experiencing a sense of déjà vu.

Elizabeth quickly jumped up to get water, helping him to drink.

At that moment, Rigel was even having difficulty drinking water.

He felt he had suffered a great loss this time.

His idea of searching for the supernatural was based on what he knew of the Pirates of the Caribbean world, but the damn Adventure Book didn't warn him about Easter Eggs!

Sure, Pirates of the Caribbean showed gods in human form like Calypso, but that was just a coincidence, right? Even if gods exist, they must be inhabiting elements out there, like Calypso inhabited the sea before being sealed away.

Rigel also didn't think he would be so unlucky as to encounter a god, nor that the compass would be able to point to a god, in the end, he didn't actually find a god, but something very close to a demon.

He thought that at most he would find a mermaid or a ghost ship, not fucking Dracula.

"H-How long did I sleep?" He asked with difficulty.

"You've been sleeping for three days, you really need to stop using that snake." Elizabeth explained, speaking with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. She, like the rest of the crew, thought that using the green snake had side effects.

Of course, the truth is that it's only Rigel's magic that has gone to extremes to the point of causing not only exhaustion, but also physical damage.

Rigel didn't explain, he just groaned in pain, then reached into his bag, pulled out some potions, felt a little better, then started drinking straight from the bottle he'd brought with several gallons of milk, then went back to sleep.

Elizabeth realized, gazing at Rigel sleeping again with evident curiosity, that she truly had been feeling on cloud nine these days.

She could hardly wait for Rigel to wake up again and take them on a new adventure.

It was only a week later that Rigel was finally well enough to move around, enough time for them to have been docked at Tortuga for four days, but during that time he had already discovered that killing Dracula was, in fact, the objective of achievement of the Adventure Book.

Fortunately, he succeeded.

But what he had gained left him speechless.

[Congratulations, Writer, for killing Dracula and receiving the "Demon Hunter - Dracula" achievement]

[Congratulations on receiving: "Count's Coffin(Platinum)"]

[Count's Coffin (Platinum)]

[Type: Bound Item - Coffin (it returns to you within a certain distance.)]

[Effect 1: Vampire Sleep -> Sleeping in this coffin cures all wounds, illnesses, and other abnormal statuses, the greater the affliction, the longer the sleep takes. Lying in the coffin allows one to sleep and wake up whenever, without feeling sick about it. Even without eating, someone can survive for a long time sleeping in it.]

[Effect 2: Dragon's Dream -> Sleeping in this coffin causes one to have lucid and clear dreams, practicing something within the dream is like practicing it in reality, you may even experience pain and fatigue and the side effects are denied.]

[Effect 3: Do Not Disturb -> When activated, makes the coffin invisible with an ignore me effect powerful enough to fool even powerful wizards, visible only to the writer and those he wishes to see it.]

[Effect 4: Final Transformation -> At the cost of all the coffin's power and its destruction, it can transform anyone who dies inside it into an Elder Vampire. (There are still inherent weaknesses, such as weakness to sun light, garlic, religious items, a wooden stake through the heart, decapitation, and being unable to cross running water.)]

[Note that you must die inside the coffin to use the final effect, not be placed there after death. In that case, anyone who dies in the coffin becomes the Elder Vampire, not just the Writer, the other effects of the coffin can also be used by others, if the Writer allows it.]
