Nico looks at the score board shocked. "Well I've got to admit," Nico started. "You did keep to your promise. But now what are you going to do once we return to the school?"
Lucas looked at Nico and said "I'm going to rest."
"Why," Jake asked. Harley just walked over and helped Lucas stand. "I can only run or jump at fully power 4 times," Lucas turned "and Green roads' plan was to make me waste all four. Seems looks like it failed."
Fred kicked the bench over angry at the game results. "Why did we lose to the worse team in history," Fred shouted. "Are plan should of worked." Suddenly Fred realised something. They had tried to beat Lucas as if he was thinking as an attack. But it was the opposite Lucas always thought like he was defending. He read defence like reading a book. "We should of thought of Lucas different," Fred said calming down. Arron walked decided Fred saying "I agree if it wasn't for the guy you keep calling Lucas we would have won."
John walked over to Lucas and held his hand out. They shuke hands. "You saved that last burst until that dunk," John said.
"Yeah," Lucas replied. "Good thing I did."
Lucas looked back up at second floor viewing area, someone had watched the entire game and he was smiling. Lucas couldn't tell what the guy looked like but he had a badge of some sort. It was a red flower with the sun right behind it. Nico noticed what Lucas was looking at. "That's not a British school," Nico said. "But it looks like a school a world miracle goes to but I don't remember which."
"Well by the way he was watching," Jake started. "I'd say we'll face them one day."
Harley just smiled and said "I can't wait if you're right Jake."
The bus ride back to the school was quiet. Jake, Harley and Kyran had fallen asleep that match had forced them to go faw beyond what they were use to. Lucas and Silas sat next to Nico as they were the only three awake. "I would have expected you to asleep Lucas," Nico said.
"I'm alright," Lucas replied "I'm not actually tired just need my legs to rest."
Just then Nico's phone buzzed. "It's the head teacher asking how the game went," Nico explained. "By any chance he's probably in disbelief or he's already planning a suprise."
"I hope it's the first," Silas finally spoke. "We probably won't be able to do much." Just then the bus stop and the others woke up. Lucas looked at the window. "I think we got both outcomes," he said.
As soon as they stepped out of the bus they got confetti thrown right at them. "Great job!" The head teacher, a tall man with a big beard, said. "Your win has put hope into everyone and thanks to you more sports clubs have been made."
"Well that's good," Nico said. "But can you be a little more careful they just won a difficult match."
"Yeah," the head teacher replied. "That's why they can take the rest of the day off to rest."
Harley, Jake and Kyran happy went home but Lucas and Silas stayed. "Can we just train?" Lucas asked.
"Sure," the head teacher asked suprised. "I thought you would want to take time to rest yourself."
"No," Lucas said. "I prefer to stay ready." Lucas and Silas walked the opposite direction to the others. But then Jake looked over and started heading with Lucas and Silas. "Think I'm just going to let you get even better then me?" Jake shouted.
"No," Lucas replied. "I expected you to change your mind." Harley and Kyran had already left the school grounds.
