Chapter 5 - Lucky Unlucky Talent

The three astronauts were still talking when they heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Silence filled the room as they looked toward the source of the noise.

Soon, they saw a young man of humanly impossible beauty. He appeared to be in his twenties, with straight black hair and a serious expression that did not hide a certain elegance and majesty, as if nothing in the world could shake him.

He had beautiful deep blue eyes, like two desirable jewels. He was truly handsome. Clearly, it was a one-in-a-billion kind of beauty, and they did not think they were exaggerating the estimate, especially the two women.

However, there was something else... something different and much more striking than his appearance, though they could not quite grasp what it was.

One thing was certain: the aura around him made him unique, as if no other like him existed; he looked at the world from top to bottom, as if everything were under his control. This gave him an air of profound mystery that brought a certain charm to the opposite sex and even to the same.

Before, because he was naked, the three had not paid much attention; however, now that he was dressed in this black suit, he looked truly imposing and admirable. Daniel walked to a certain leather armchair about a meter away from them and sat down. His right hand lightly supported his chin, while his elbow rested on the arm of the chair. His right leg crossed slightly over his left.

He was observing the man named William.

Although, in practical terms, the suit did not please him, in terms of appearance and comfort, it was acceptable for now. He was not the type of man who would simply take things from others unless that person was an enemy. He decided to pay William for the suit, because even though it was something of great significance to the man, he had still given it up.

Daniel had noticed when he entered the satellite: this man named William suffered from several ailments. It would be strange to have a group of astronauts consisting of two women and one man in the middle of space, especially with two "lost" ones like those he had met. So, he paid a little attention to William and used his internal energy to observe his physique, and he truly discovered something that caught even someone like him by surprise.

The entire process of Daniel entering the room, walking, and sitting in the armchair was watched intently by the two girls. Their eyes seemed to want to eat him alive; even their breathing was a bit heavy.

— "How can someone be so handsome, charming, and hot?" Jéssica murmured, nearly wiping drool from her mouth.

Despite this, she did not dare to approach him. She couldn't explain it, but her body felt that she could truly die if she got close. It was strange; she felt paralyzed, like a prey animal before a terrible predator.

Hearing her murmur, Estela pressed both hands firmly over her crotch, squeezing her beautiful white thighs together. It was as if she were desperate to go to the bathroom. Jéssica did not fail to look at her upon noticing her strangeness, and her gaze soon filled with surprise.

— "You... don't tell me that you...?"

Jéssica didn't even want to finish her sentence. She knew and admitted she was a "lost" girl, but her friend was showing herself to be worse than her on several levels.

— "Ah... forgive me! I don't know what happened... when I saw him, I just became like this!"

By her response, Estela seemed to feel helpless under Jéssica's accusing gaze. However, her desire-filled face showed otherwise, making Jéssica look at her with contempt for her blatant expression.

— "How... can a man like this exist? He is perfect in everything! Handsome, hot, powerful, and... very big!"

Estela's murmurs followed by a dry swallow could be heard plainly; her voice was somewhat shaky, as if she were embarrassed. Jéssica, listening, could not help but roll her eyes at Estela's audacity.

"Hmp! If you are shy, I'm the President of the United States!" she thought ironically. Her friend's mask had crumbled easily before this man. Soon, a wicked smile formed on Jéssica's face.

— "Why don't you try your luck, Estela?" she asked, encouraging her.

— "I-I wanted to, but... I feel like I'll die if I get close! I don't know why, but my body trembles with fear just thinking about it."

— "Tsk, I see... trembles with fear or desire?" she murmured in questioning.

Externally, even though she seemed helpless regarding her friend's situation, internally it was different. Jéssica was laughing deeply, though it didn't show.

"Estela, Estela... if this is a man that even Jéssica cannot have, you, my friend, can forget about having him as long as I live!"

William listened to the conversation, and his face turned truly red with shame. He wanted to say he didn't know them. If it weren't for his problem, he never would have agreed to be in the middle of space with two girls, especially after discovering the true faces of these two.

William was thirty-five years old, and it had been eight years since he married the love of his life. He truly felt like the happiest man in the world, but a year after his marriage, he discovered two problems with his body. First, he was sterile; second, he suffered from sexual impotence. It was so extreme that even the most potent stimulants would not help him.

He went to many renowned professionals in the field. They told him that, apparently, it was something rare that medicine had never seen before. After that, he began to gain weight uncontrollably, and his appearance also began to age faster, to the point that currently, he looked like someone in his fifties, even though he was only thirty-five. His weight was one hundred and eighty kilos.

He had been running away from his wife, lacking the courage to tell her or face her. He returned home once every two months and always used the excuse of being tired to avoid having relations with her. She dreamed of having children and so did he, but by lying, he said he didn't want children, all to cover up his shame.

His wife was eight years younger than him; she was still as beautiful as ever. But these years they had been married had only brought suffering to the one he swore to make the happiest woman in the world. He did not forget the sound of her crying at dawn, or her sad look when facing him. She asked him if she was ugly, if she wasn't to his liking, or if she could do something for him to love her again.

At the beginning of the marriage, they were like rabbits, to the point that she asked him to decrease the frequency because she couldn't keep up; however, everything changed suddenly, and she blamed herself, thinking the fault was hers. William's heart ached deeply whenever he was confronted by her; he wanted to tell the truth—that she was the most beautiful and perfect woman in the world and that he, the problem of the situation, did not deserve her—yet, he couldn't.

Their marriage was at the point of divorce. In fact, in ten hours he would be returning to the NASA base and going home. William had made up his mind after thinking deeply: he would lay it all out, tell her everything, and leave her free to find a real man who would make her happy... after that he... would go to a distant place where no one knew him and end his life there, for he could not bear to see his beloved in the arms of another man.

Sigh~

Daniel sighed deeply while looking at William's constitution for a time.

"What a wasted talent!" he thought.

He never expected to find such a constitution that, in the Murim world, was said to appear once every thousand years: the "Extreme Yang Constitution." It was a Special Constitution; it wasn't a Supreme constitution like his, but it would still allow him to have all his Ki channels open.

All his Ki would be converted into True Ki. He would use internal energy of the fire type, potentially becoming a small Sun. Daniel could see it clearly: this William possessed the talent to surpass him, if compared to his old version. He could go much further than him in the Martial Arts; perhaps the legendary Origin Realm, which lies after the Transcendent Realm, could be reached.

This Realm was legendary, and no one had ever reached it—at least, there were no records. It was known as the Origin Realm or the "Heaven Beyond Heaven" by the masses of the Murim world. Only someone with a Special Physique could have a small chance of entering this Martial Realm.

"To think that someone with this physique would be in front of me... and not only that... his identity was someone from our world."

Despite it being a good thing, Daniel sighed bitterly at how unlucky this poor man was and how unfortunate humanity was to lose such a talent that could have changed the future of their world.

"In the Murim world, he would be a genius without equal among others—having only those with special physiques as possible competitors and those with Supreme Physiques potentially surpassing him in talent. Indeed, a monster much more terrifying than that idiot; after all, Special Physiques don't grow on trees!"

He couldn't help but remember a nuisance of a figure from his past. He would be sure to pay that figure back well. Thinking of this, an amused smile appeared on his face, though it vanished quickly as he maintained the same neutral expression. That figure wasn't exactly an enemy; in fact, he had been a great help, but Daniel had suffered "the bread the devil kneaded" at his hands, so he would pay him back a hundred times over.

"That arrogant individual puffed himself up for having a Pure Yang Martial Physique, but he doesn't even come close to the legendary Special Martial Physique 'Extreme Yang', the famous Blazing Sun."

Daniel had plans to return the favor to that annoying colleague.

William, being stared at by those blue eyes, sweated constantly; he even felt embarrassed. For some reason, he felt as if he were naked in front of those eyes, as if nothing were hidden before him.

— "Is William your name?" Daniel asked, breaking the silence.

— "Y-Yes, sir!" William replied quickly, caught by surprise.

— "Well, I am not a man who likes to remain in debt to anyone..."

Understanding what he meant, William quickly interrupted him.

— "N-No, Mr. Daniel! There is no need... besides, it would soon become just a painful memory, so there is no need to pay! In fact, I am happy it can serve a greater purpose in the end."

William was somewhat disoriented. This terrifying figure had simply appeared in space and entered the satellite, then wanted to take a bath and instructed them to find him a suit. As the only one who could supply the other party's demand, and being worried about the safety of his colleagues, he had no choice and offered the suit he wore at his wedding. He feared that if he irritated him, not even dust would remain of him and his two companions. And that suit would be better off away from him anyway; it wouldn't be a loss to him.

Daniel probed him deeply with his eyes. He was analyzing the character of the man before him. He had a skill called "Unveiling the Hidden"; when someone lied or had any wrong intention against him, Daniel would see a purple glow where the person's heart was.

This William was very sincere about not wanting to be paid; in fact, he was the type of person hard to find. A person who truly expressed what he felt without using a mask. He decided not to beat around the bush and went to the main point. He had decided that this William would be his first subordinate in this timeline. He would be a much-needed force.

— "Do you happen to sweat constantly without reason even when it is extremely cold?" he questioned, making William's eyes widen.

— "That... how do you...?"

— "Do you also have difficulty urinating, and it comes out in a reddish color like blood, besides having much pain?"

William was perplexed, as if seeing a ghost. He just nodded automatically.

— "Did you also... start to gain weight uncontrollably and become sterile, besides being sexually impotent?"

Hearing the last part, William was a bit too embarrassed to admit it, but, swallowing his pride, he nodded. For a small spark of hope, which had previously been extinguished, rekindled in his chest.

He couldn't hold back at the thought of a certain possibility, and his eyes grew moist. Soon, a few drops began to make their way down his face, falling to the floor. His lips were trembling, and his whole body shook as he took a few hurried steps toward Daniel, who was still sitting in the armchair.

William felt an instinctive fear within him as he approached that man. However, after having traveled the world in search of a cure for his problem with the best specialists—the same ones who weren't even capable of stating his symptoms—he felt helpless. They analyzed him and said there was nothing wrong with him, that it was just stress; however, he continued to get worse day by day.

His wife suffered more and more because of him. He had never again seen the smile he fell in love with. At this moment in his life, William didn't care at all if this man was an alien, a terrorist, or whatever he was; nothing mattered!

"This man was the only one who described my problem with just a look, and if he could describe it... perhaps... he could also cure it?" With this in mind, William fell to his knees in front of Daniel.

His tears were still constant. He had lost everything, even the motivation for life, but perhaps the man in front of him had the answer to his suffering. He was likely his last hope; how could he not risk his life?
