Chapter 2 - A Furious Campus Belle Strikes, Villain Points Unlocked

"Ugh…"

Just then, a soft feminine moan echoed through the laboratory.

Whose voice was that!?

Was someone watching porn they shouldn't be!?

Wang Hao frowned, deep in thought. With the countless videos he'd watched, the lessons he'd received from so many "teachers", how come he'd never heard this voice before!?

Wait a minute!

This wasn't his old world anymore. It would be far stranger if he had heard it before.

Though he couldn't help but wonder what kind of "teachers" this world had, and how they'd guide his future "growth".

"What the hell, am I actually dreaming!?"

When Wang Hao turned to locate the source of the sound, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. Not far in front of him, an adorable young loli with skin as smooth and fair as fine lambskin lay sprawled on the floor, her sweet little face flushed crimson, as if she'd drunk herself into a stupor.

What made Wang Hao's heart race most was that the girl's eyes were glazed over, her lips slightly parted, utterly captivating. With his years of experience in such matters, he didn't need a second to understand exactly what state she was in.

"This loli is… Cutie Meng, no, Mai Mengmeng…"

Wang Hao froze, as a flood of information surged into his mind.

First, humanity had conquered the Milky Way Galaxy and established the Interstellar Federation.

The planet he was currently on was also named Earth, a Tier-1 Planet—the lowest rank in the Interstellar Federation. Yet as the birthplace of humanity, it was under the Federation's special protection.

Second, he had an incredibly powerful father, a man idolized by every commoner across the entire Interstellar Federation.

In this era where the Federation was controlled by noble lords, and commoners had almost no chance to rise to power, this nominal father of his had relied on his extraordinary talent to carve out a legendary legacy for himself. He had become one of the only four Marshals of the Military Department, one of the five major powers of the Interstellar Federation: Marshal Tianwei, Wang Tianyi. To the millions of commoners, he was also revered as the King of Lightning.

And he was the legendary son of the Marshal, a top-tier second-generation heir with an immensely powerful background.

But that was all seven years ago. Now, he was just an ordinary high school student at Number Eleven High School on Earth.

According to his memories, seven years prior, Marshal Tianwei had led a massive army of 100,000 soldiers on a top-secret mission, and never returned. What was most bizarre was that the entire force had vanished into thin air, without a single trace left behind. It had become a sensational scandal that rocked the entire Interstellar Federation.

What's more, Marshal Tianwei had been a commoner-born marshal, still young, and had never built up his own family power. So after his disappearance, Wang Hao had been expelled from the Royal Academy, the Federation's most elite noble institution.

For only the descendants of nobles could study at the Royal Academy. Even the wealthiest of tycoons, whose fortunes rivaled entire nations, could never hope to set foot inside. And Wang Hao, having lost his powerful backing, was even less qualified.

In the end, he had been sent to his father's birthplace, Earth, to attend the very same commoner high school his father had once studied at: Number Eleven High School.

The high schools here were vastly different from those on his old Earth. Alongside academic classes, their core curriculum included martial arts training, as well as a wide range of vocational electives.

You must understand, in the Interstellar Federation, there were not only warriors who could shatter stars with their fists, but also a host of high-end professions: alchemists, mech warriors, weapon masters, scientists, and more. These were the cornerstones of humanity's civilizational progress, and the targets every major power fought fiercely to recruit.

As for the adorable loli before him, Mai Mengmeng, she was also a student at Number Eleven High School, and the two of them were in the same alchemy class.

The poor sod who'd owned this body before him had been a high school student utterly obsessed with alchemy, so devoted to his research that he would go days without eating or drinking. But alchemy research was an insanely expensive craft.

So to fund his work, the poor sod had concocted a low-cost, high-profit aphrodisiac for couples, named Passion Burst. But today, while mixing a batch, he'd accidentally knocked over a vial, and both he and Mai Mengmeng had been caught in its effects.

The original owner, however, had been an honorable man. Unwilling to take advantage of her, he'd slammed his head into a wall, figuring he'd be harmless if he passed out. Instead, he'd died, and Wang Hao had taken his place.

"Is this a gift from the heavens!?" Wang Hao's mind raced, torn between being a beast, or being worse than a beast.

"No way. I'm a promising young man raised under the red flag, educated in the Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces." Wang Hao shook his head, even as his eyes remained glued to Mai Mengmeng, not blinking for a second.

Creak…

Just then, the laboratory door was suddenly flung open.

"Wang Hao, I'll make you wish you were dead!!"

In an instant, a cold, icy voice, as if it had come straight from the depths of hell, rang out beside his ear.

It was a girl's voice!

Why did she want him dead so badly!?

Could it be that the poor sod before him had been a hit-it-and-quit-it scumbag, and now the girl was here to make him take responsibility? If that was the case, that was straight-up beastly, and he was NOT taking the blame for it.

"Ugh…"

Before Wang Hao could even see who it was, a searing pain exploded in his stomach, and he went flying backward in an instant.

Boom!!

With a deafening crash, Wang Hao's back slammed hard into the wall. He looked up to see a bright, youthful, ferocious young loli in a martial arts uniform, her hair tied in a high ponytail, cracking her knuckles as she strode toward him step by step.

He knew this violent little firecracker. She was Xia Weiwei, Mai Mengmeng's best friend. At only sixteen years old, she'd already reached the 8th Level of Martial Apprentice, the number one genius and campus belle of Number Eleven High School.

He, on the other hand, was only at the 4th Level of Martial Apprentice—four whole minor realms below her.

"Wait!!" Wang Hao forced out two words with great difficulty.

"I knew it, you shameless pervert! You've had your eyes on Mengmeng this whole time!" Xia Weiwei let out a cold snort. "Luckily I came to check on her today, or who knows what you would have done to her!"

The hell I did! I've got a system! Why would I ever do something so shameless!?

Ugh… Wait a minute! The system he'd bound to was the Grand Villain System. Didn't it seem like this was exactly the kind of thing he needed to do to grow stronger?

"Ding Dong. Congratulations to the Host for inspiring others' sense of justice to eradicate evil. You have initially grasped the essence of the Grand Villain System, and been awarded 200 Villain Points."

What the fuck? Inspire people's sense of justice to come kill me!? What kind of masochistic idiot would ever want to do that!?

Wang Hao was dumbfounded. He knew going down in infamy was his end goal, but if this was how the system worked, even a hundred Resurrection Coins wouldn't be enough to keep him alive!

"System Tip: Good men die young, but villains live for a thousand years. If the Host can't even stay alive, that only means the Host is too weak and useless."

Wang Hao's eye twitched. He couldn't even argue with that logic. At the same time, he finally understood why the Novice Gift Pack had included an insanely overpowered treasure like the Resurrection Coin.

"System, I want to use the Skill Upgrade Card!"

Seeing Xia Weiwei charging at him again, Wang Hao didn't have time to think. He dodged in a panic—he had no intention of dying here and wasting a Resurrection Coin on a violent little loli.

"The Host currently only masters one skill: Lightning Step."

"Congratulations to the Host. Lightning Step has been upgraded to Peak Perfection."

"Lightning Step!?"

Wang Hao froze, then it all came rushing back. He'd spent his entire life obsessed with alchemy research, and had never learned any offensive martial skills. The only thing he'd ever mastered was this footwork technique, forced on him by his marshal father when he was a child. As for the Martial Glory Heavenly Demon Art, that was a cultivation method, not a martial skill, so it couldn't be upgraded.

"Fuck, what a waste." Wang Hao couldn't help but curse. What good was a footwork technique? What he needed was an offensive move.

"What? A waste!?"

Xia Weiwei's pretty face turned livid with rage. This pervert actually dared to say it was a waste? Did he think it wouldn't be a waste if he defiled Mengmeng!?

"Hey, lady, you've got the wrong idea." Wang Hao looked utterly exasperated.

"Ding Dong. Congratulations to the Host for once again inspiring another's sense of justice. Awarded 200 Villain Points."

Fine! You're not wrong at all. I was just overthinking it. Let this misunderstanding keep going!

Faced with the promise of Villain Points, Wang Hao had no choice but to throw his integrity straight out the window…
