Chapter 90 - sea dragon

The strong Centaur Warrior Chiron, accompanied by Fafna the Ogre Giant, the former leader of the Ogres and now awakened with the ancient demigod Siren bloodline, ascended the Dragon Nest Mountains from the foothills.

The mountains where the Trye Dragon's built their nests were changing daily; the True Dragon's, with their powerful abilities, leveled entire peaks they had chosen, almost reducing the mountain to half its height to create sufficiently wide activity areas.

On this leveled mountaintop plateau, the Dragon clan's first castle, serving as their council hall and Fortress, would be established.

Tall Ogre slaves, under the direction of several former human noble stonemasons, were processing the stone excavated by the True Dragon when they leveled the mountaintop.

They used newly forged iron picks, round-headed hammers, and other tools to break off pieces of stone from the massive rock veins, then cut and polished the suitable pieces into neat, square blocks for the castle's foundation.

At this time, the mountaintop plateau was covered only with laid stones and pervasive dust, and the clanging sounds were exceptionally noisy.

Earth Dragon and reindeer, along with other animals enslaved and domesticated by the Dragon clan's dependents, pulled wooden carts loaded with discarded stones, moving up and down the mountain, guided by Kobold and Green Goblin.

These domesticated animals were relatively docile and had excellent carrying capacity, making them very useful transportation tools within the Dragon Territory.

Unfortunately, these Ogre slaves were not skilled at excavation and construction, resulting in low efficiency. If there were a race among the Dragon clan's dependents skilled in construction, the castle's building speed, with a sufficient supply of stone, would be much faster than it was now.

However, Centaur Warrior Chiron and Fafna the Ogre Giant did not set foot on this mountain peak but instead followed the winding, wide mountain path excavated by the Ogre slaves, ascending the adjacent mountain.

This mountain was close to the Red Dragon's nest and was upwind, so it was unaffected. The True Dragon's gathered and rested here.

From the halfway point of this mountain, it was already evident that the Red Dragon's peak was noticeably growing taller, with ceaseless flowing magma overflowing daily, mixing with soil and dust that, after drying, accumulated on the Red Dragon's mountaintop, forming new rock.

These flowing magma streams had even spread to the halfway point, covering the upper part of the entire mountain to form a dark red and grayish-brown mixed mountain body. Centaur Warrior Chiron and Fafna the Ogre Giant could even feel the surging heat emanating from there.

Even with the Centaur Warrior's current strength, capable of challenging ordinary young True Dragon after bloodline radiation, Chiron couldn't help but be awestruck by the True Dragon's unique power.

In his eyes, even many creatures stronger than True Dragon would find it difficult to accomplish such a feat; this was the inherent talent of True Dragon, a creature close to perfection.

Fafna the Ogre Giant's eyes, like rippling water, also shimmered with a strange brilliance. She had awakened the bloodline of the ancient demigod Siren and possessed spiritual and mental power that ordinary creatures could never hope to achieve.

An adult Giant ogre could even easily influence an adult True Dragon, but even if she grew further, she would be far from reaching the influence this Red Dragon could exert at this moment.

"Greetings to you, my great master."

"Greetings to you, great master, your humble female slave Fafna greets all the True Dragon's."

Centaur Warrior Chiron and the Giant Ogre Fafna saw the active True Dragon on the mountaintop. The Red Dragon was conversing, surrounded by other young True Dragon's, its strong and robust True Dragon body prominently standing out amidst the surrounding True Dragon's, even eclipsing the adolescent Blue Dragon Akzi.

"It seems Master has grown much during this time," Centaur Warrior Chiron and Giant Monster Fafna prostrated themselves on the ground, a shared thought arising in their minds.

However, there was no fear in their hearts. For the True Dragon's dependents, an increasingly powerful lord was what they hoped to see.

And Fafna the Ogre Giant was now not only nominally the Red Dragon's slave, her soul was also controlled by the Red Dragon, her life and death tied to the Red Dragon's hand. She would only hope for the Red Dragon to be more powerful, and the more powerful the Red Dragon became, the more she would receive in return.

Moreover, the admiration for strength is an inherent nature in all creatures, not just Giant Monster; True Dragon are also the same.

Noticing that the Centaur Warrior and the Ogre Giant had arrived, Kalon nodded, signaling them with his gaze to wait aside. He then looked at the Blue Dragon opposite him; Blue Dragon Dos was recounting the results of his investigation, while Red Dragon Klenaya was nestled beside him.

White True Dragon Germott and Camid were circling to his left, while the Black Dragon Rosani andthe Green Dragon Antagena were opposite him, next to the Blue Dragon Dos. The Pixie was perched on Green Dragon Antagena's spiky crown, grooming her scales.

The Pixie had now become a friend to all True Dragon. Even Green Dragon, who liked to prey on these forest sprites, no longer regarded Riven as food. The two got along very well, and Pixie Raven was no longer afraid of the Green Dragon.

However, Green Dragon Antagena now had a new habit: every day, she liked to hold the Pixie in her claw and meticulously lick it all over, calling it a way to deepen their bond.

Although in a magical world, there are indeed some races that express the care of the strong for the weak through licking, Kalon found no such method in the True Dragon's inherited memories, indicating that such behavior did not exist within the True Dragon's species.

However, Kalon didn't mind. His Dragon clan were different from ordinary evil True Dragon. Althought the Green Dragon Antagena still liked to instigate people, and manipulate schemes and conspiracies, at least she wouldn't be so malicious towards her friends.

"The trench where the Fishmen tribe lives is very deep, about five hundred miles from the land. I followed the traces of the returned Fishmen and found that there are still several hundred Fishmen in the trench," Blue Dragon Dos recounted the situation he and Akzi had investigated.

"On the way back, I also discovered some deep-sea Naga. They seem to be hostile to this Fishmen tribe and are lurking around the Fishmen tribe's living area. Perhaps once they discover that the main force of the Fishmen tribe has been annihilated by us, they will launch an attack on the Fishmen tribe."

The young True Dragon all nodded. In the vastness of the ocean, Fishmen and Naga were mostly in a state of conflict, a result of the pressure and collision of living space. Although there were brief periods when they would cooperate, such cooperation usually didn't last long.

"Akzi also detected the aura of aquatic Dragon in the ocean, perhaps Sea Dragon. We didn't get too close to avoid being noticed by them."

"Sea Dragon? I really want to see these Sea Dragon," the Black Dragon Rosani's eyes lit up, and his tail unconsciously swished.

Sea Dragon and Black Dragon were often natural enemies. Sea Dragon disliked Black Dragon's because Black Dragon's were the worst enemies for Sea True Dragon.

Sea Dragon's generally lived in water, and although they could leave the water for a period, it was an unnecessary option for them. Black Dragon's, who liked to contaminate water and charm and control aquatic reptiles, were at the top of their hit list. Of course, all evil True Dragon species were on the Sea Dragon's hit list, with Black Dragon's being at the top.

Black Dragon's also enjoyed disgusting and attacking these Dragon species that lived in the ocean year-round. The insidious and evil Black True Dragon always found pleasure in this. Some Black Dragon's even liked to specifically run into the Sea Dragon's territory, pollute the water, and then flee, never changing their ways even after being beaten many times.

"Hmm, you did the right thing," Kalon affirmed the Blue Dragon's caution. "These Sea Dragon like to form close alliances with Bronze Dragon. Discovering the traces of Sea Dragon might mean there's a Bronze Dragon or even a nest of Bronze Dragon nearby."

"We can't manage the oceanic areas for now. Let's temporarily put aside the Fishmen's treasure vault. There's no need to take risks for a little treasure."

Kalon made his final conclusion to the surrounding young True Dragon's, "Our current focus should be on the forest, emphasizing the protection of the land-clearing populace and the land, ensuring they are not invaded and can peacefully cultivate food for the Dragon clan. This will be the Dragon clan's rich granary."

"Only with sufficient food can the Dragon clan have the surplus capacity to expand and consolidate their territory. Otherwise, merely relying on hunting would forever limit the scale of the True Dragon's dependents."

"Beyond a certain scale, the Dragon Clan Territory would only fall into a vicious cycle of endless expansion, which is not beneficial for the True Dragon, who are currently implementing steady expansion."

Kalon was gradually feeling the pressure around the Dragon Clan Territory. Previously, the True Dragon's territory was not wide, so the strength of the monsters and other races bordering it was not strong.

But now, the Dragon Clan Territory was several times its original size. Many surrounding monsters and tribes began to worry about the further growth of these True Dragon's strength and were constantly probing. The contradiction of living space was irreconcilable, and conflicts and wars with the Dragon clan might occur soon.

The other True Dragon's nodded, having no objections to the Red Dragon's decision. Although they all wanted to plunder the Fishmen's treasure vault, these True Dragon's would not put themselves in danger due to their greed at this time.

Kalon withdrew his gaze from his companions and directed it towards the Centaur Warrior and Fafna the Ogre Giant who were standing by.
