Chapter 22 - ogre tribe

During this period, the newly established Dragon clan were very busy. The Green Dragon Antagena needed to supervise the construction of the Kobold Tribe settlement and separately allocate an area nearby as a future smelting workshop.

Apart from valuable minerals, other practical minerals such as iron, copper, and tin ore would be transported here to be simply processed by the Kobold and then stored.

These minerals would later be forged into armor and weapons to arm the Dragon's dependents, but the Kobold were only skilled at mining and polishing various gems into rough jewelry; they did not possess such casting technology and could only roughly smelt iron ore into barely usable tools, so this plan could only be temporarily put on hold.

The lame Blue Dragon Akzi was content to stay in his Dragon Nest licking his wounds, but for his lame leg to regrow, he would likely need to undergo a period of slumber.

Fortunately, the Young Dragon in the family had already begun to learn to take on the responsibility of maintaining the Dragon Clan Territory, and the united Dragon did not worry about the safety of the Dragon Territory.

The area of the canyon where the Young Dragon's Dragon Nest was located was twice the size of its pre-expansion state, so even Adult Dragon would not find it cramped.

The nominal Giant Dragon leader, Carlit, seemed to be a homebody Dragon; the Young Dragons never saw her, even now that some changes had occurred within the Dragon Clan Territory.

Originally, Kalon was quite troubled about how to handle his relationship with Carlit.

In his mind, even if the Blue Dragon carlit was extremely laid-back, she would not easily give up her leadership position and let a Dragon cub who used to play with her tail climb over her head.

If he offered the treasure belonging to the Blue Dragon, perhaps the greedy Blue Dragon would demand that the Dragon surrender all their treasure, which the other Dragon would not be willing to do.

With Kalon's support, a battle would erupt, and Kalon did not wish for his Dragon clan to be consumed by meaningless internal strife; the strength of every true Dragon was useful in his eyes.

However, if he were to challenge her directly according to the true Dragon rules, even with Kalon's enhanced talent, he was not yet confident enough to successfully challenge Carlit.

The strength of a Juvenile Dragon was far greater than that of the current Red Dragon.

This current state suited the Red Dragon's wishes perfectly; it seemed that as long as she was fed on time every day, Carlit would stay in her cave, perhaps even sleeping until adulthood.

Kalon stretched lazily, feeling that sleeping in a pile of gold was indeed pleasant for a Dragon.

Last night, he even had a wonderful dream.

The newly expanded cave was not cramped at all, but Kalon still felt a bit stifled.

He planned to make do for now and build a new Dragon Nest on the mountaintop when he entered his next age-crossing slumber.

Before Kalon even left his cave, he heard Raven's loud shouts from outside.

He slowly walked out of the cave and saw Raven giggling as she rode on the back of a Aurumvorax, like riding a large cat.

A long rope was tied around the Aurumvorax's neck, and the other end of the rope was held by the Kobold Warriors guarding the cave.

Seeing the Red Dragon, the two Kobold Warriors immediately knelt, their dog-like heads bowed to the ground, barking in Dragon Language: "Great Master."

Kalon nodded and looked at the lively Pixie.

The Little pixie Raven , whom he hadn't seen in a long time, seemed to have grown a tiny bit taller.

She wore a green fairy dress, and her acorn cap had been replaced by a wreath woven from tender green leaves and branches, with two fresh flowers still tucked into her light green hair, one on each side.

It was then that Kalon realized there was also a mental link between the Little pixie Raven and himself, but the link between them was too weak and intermittent, which was why Kalon had not noticed it before.

Raven also noticed Kalon at this moment, and her small hand quickly tugged at the large cat she was riding, making it run towards him, stopping in front of Kalon.

The unruly large cat whimpered and lay on the ground, showing submission, while Raven flew up and stopped in front of Kalon's smiling face.

She raised her delicate little face and giggled at Kalon, "Long time no see, Kalon! I not only brought you a gift this time, but also good news: those merchants have arrived with their big ships!"

About two or three hundred miles east of the Dragon Nest Mountains, near the sea, there was a rich bay.

This was a lush rainforest, rich in species resources.

There were endless wild beasts to hunt in the rainforest and inexhaustible sea fish to catch in the sea.

Grain casually sown could yield four harvests a year, and the resources were so abundant that they could make any nation envious.

Moreover, it also possessed a natural harbor.

Although far from many civilized places, passing travelers and merchants would always moor their ships there, and adventurers would land from here.

Even many large airships loaded with supplies for trade with the Beastman Empire across the sea would pass through here on their return journey.

These travelers and merchants brought ample food and various living supplies to the Ogre Tribe occupying this rich bay.

The Ogre Tribe only needed to pay with those glittering but useless minerals and shiny junk to exchange for cheap cloth and crudely made weapons from the merchants, as well as various leftover inferior spice and expired old grain, and other abundant supplies.

This allowed the Ogre Tribe occupying this place to rapidly grow stronger, transforming from their original chaotic, disorderly state as a tribe of one or two hundred people living in a small area into a lordly tribe now possessing countless powerful Ogre Warriors.

All of this was because a mysterious Ogre Giant was born in this tribe.

This creature, said in legends to be the most beautiful in the world born from the dirty, chaotic, unintelligent, and ugly Ogre race, possessed not only unparalleled beauty but also unparalleled wisdom and strength, destined by birth to rule all Ogres.

And at this moment, the Giant Monster who brought order and wisdom to the Ogre Tribe was in a tall tent in the center of the tribe, lazily reclining on a huge couch, her right hand, with its slightly bulging, tender white skin on the back, lightly supporting her naturally enchanting face.

The pearlescent long dress completely failed to conceal the undulating peaks of her body; two tender white mounds spilled from her chest, and her gracefully sculpted calves and bare feet, exposed beneath the long dress, emitted a lustrous glow, as if her jade-like skin was enveloped in a faint shimmer, making her upturned feet resemble perfectly rounded pearls.

This was truly the most beloved creation of the gods, yet it possessed a more fatal allure than a succubus.

The Giant Monster's enormous body, spanning over four meters as she lay, did not detract from her beauty.

Even the most discerning human sculptor would find no flaw in the Giant Monster before them; she was a symbol of charm and perfection.

In stark contrast to the Giant Monster were the Ogre leader and the Ogre Great Wizard standing on her left and right.

The one-eyed Ogre King Morgor possessed an innate ancestral bloodline, awakening the Mountain Giant bloodline.

Morgor's face was ugly; standing upright, he was over six meters tall, and one of his arms was as thick as the log supporting the tent.

His bare upper body was covered in scars, his muscles were knotted all over, and he emitted an unpleasant odor, representing the most direct violence and filth.

It should be known that Ogre and creatures like Dragon often share one commonality: the larger their size, the greater their strength.

However, a Dragon's length includes its tail, and if calculated that way, even the power of the Juvenile Dragon Carlit is far inferior to that of this one-eyed Ogre King.

Although the Ogre Great Wizard was only three meters tall, the Two-Headed Ogre was a naturally powerful spellcaster among the Ogre race.

They could learn human magic and also awaken their own racial witchcraft.

And this Ogre Great Wizard, with two small horns growing on his faces, already showed signs of weathering and age, and a long string of skulls hanging around his neck indicated his bloodthirstiness and powerful spellcasting ability.

At this moment, in the center of the tent, the Ogre Warriors, over three meters tall and incredibly powerful in the eyes of other creatures, were humbly kneeling on the ground, reporting what they had seen and heard to the highest authority in the tribe.

"We have clarified, using the succubus slaves given to us by the Great Wizard sahei, that the two Blue Dragon that flew to the mountains near the Pixie Wasteland a few years ago have already built their Dragon Nest there, and have already bred the next generation of Young Dragon; those Giant Dragon have already begun to subdue dependents..."
