They shake hands in the diner then take their seats across from each other.
Man-"Remind me again what is your name?"
Other Man-"Robert, Robert Johnathan Wilks and what was it that your name was again?
Man-"Its just Loid Moore and to be quite frank sir, I am very excited to have this sit down with you."
Robert-"As am I."
Loid-"Now let's get down to what makes you so interesting. Is it really true that you, Robert Johnathan Wilks, are some kind of genius amongst geniuses?"
Robert-"No, that is quite the overstatement of who I am. I am simply a man who has achieved far greater creative endeavors than most men will ever attempt, that's all I am."
Loid-"Well sir I suppose that's no understatement of who you are, but why do you believe that after all you've achieved in this life that you are still no genius?"
Robert-"Well Loids or was it Loid?"
Loid-"It's just Loid."
Robert-"Oh Loid, my apologies I once knew a great man named Loids so I had got mixed up."
Loid-"I assure you it's nothing to worry about, please do go on."
Robert-"Right, what I was trying to get across though Loid, is that I am simply a driven man who is willing to do what must be done to achieve great creative success. The only way that makes me any different from any other man or woman in this diner who sits and chats as we do is that I think then I do well most of these people only think and they leave it at that."
Loid-"Wow, that is certainly an interesting way to look at it."
Robert-"I suppose you could say that, but then again you could say that it sounds quite simple."
Loid-"I just want to get this straight, you are implying that anyone in this room could achieve roughly the same level of creative success as you?"
Robert-"Yes and no, yes because they are all capable of it if they just tried as hard as me to achieve these things then they would be plenty capable of achieving them and no because most of humanity never achieves their full financial potential, creative potential, and/or Physical potential. Think about it, when a person achieves just one of these things people aspire to be like them because most will never get that high in any aspect of their life, now tell me about a human whose achieved all three of these things."
Loid-"Well I couldn't."
Robert-"Well then, I don't believe that you or I have met a genius, but then again I could just be ignorant to what actual genius is."
Loid-"And that's about our time, thank you for this conversation Robert, it was lovely getting to know you and hearing your perspective."
Robert-"The pleasures all mine, have a wonderful day Loid."
They shake hands and then Loid walks out of the diner while Robert stays to order some coffee.
