"My bad, but as exciting as your arrival is, we're already getting ready to dip."
After getting smacked around twice by the Nomu and managing to rescue Shigaraki Tomura, a beaten-up Kurogiri said to All Might, who was walking toward him.
"You're joking, right!?"
All Might was pissed.
You hurt Aizawa and Thirteen like that, you've got all these students injured, and you think you can just leave?
Yeah, no. Not happening.
"Instead of worrying about us, you might want to pay more attention to the student behind you."
Kurogiri pointed at Arthur, who had pulled The World back inside him and was standing behind All Might's left shoulder. "Do you even understand that kid's Quirk?"
All Might froze for a second.
Wasn't Arthur's Quirk the same type as Fumikage Tokoyami's? Summoning some kind of living thing?
Compared to Tokoyami's Dark Shadow, it was stronger and faster.
Range seemed a little shorter, though.
Was there more to it than that?
"Seriously impressive Quirk. I haven't felt a presence that dangerous since... that person."
Kurogiri spread his body open, forming a gate, ready to warp Shigaraki and the Nomu out of there.
"Sorry about this, but we'll be taking our leave now"
"The World!!!"
Right as Kurogiri was about to activate his Quirk, that familiar shout rang out. The one that made their skin crawl.
Only Arthur and The World could see what happened next.
Everything froze. Everything turned into a blurry mess.
Kurogiri was still mid-"gate" pose, but like everyone else, he was completely stuck.
'Only two seconds right now. Not bad for starters, right? Even Dio only had one second when he first got his.' Arthur and The World walked past a frozen All Might and stopped in front of Kurogiri.
'Saying 'two seconds' in a world where time doesn't move sounds kind of weird, but whatever. Two seconds is two seconds.'
"I don't really care about you two. But that Nomu? He really messed me up earlier. No way I'm letting him off easy."
The next second, The World stepped out from Arthur's side and threw two punches. One at Kurogiri's real body, one at Shigaraki Tomura's gut.
Both of their bodies wobbled slightly in the frozen world, but they didn't go flying like normal.
After landing the punches, Arthur turned and walked back behind All Might, facing away from the villains, and smirked. "Time resumes."
Kurogiri and Shigaraki felt a sharp pain in their stomachs.
Then they got launched backward. Again.
This time, the punches weren't as strong as the Nomu's earlier hits.
But strong enough to send both of them crashing into the rock garden on the other side of the lake.
Without Kurogiri's warp, the Nomu had no way to escape.
This familiar scene played out again, but the shock it gave Izuku Midoriya and the others was just as big as the first two times.
"W-what just happened? They got sent flying again? What is going on?!"
Kyoka Jiro felt like she was dreaming.
But she had to believe it was real. That was the third time.
"No, that attack wasn't from the Nomu!"
Izuku yelled.
The Nomu hadn't turned around like before. It hadn't moved at all.
So how did Kurogiri and Shigaraki get launched?
All Might had never seen this ability before. He turned his head and stared at Arthur, who had his back to him.
"Alright, now's your chance. Finish off that freak. If The World wasn't still incomplete, I'd handle him myself."
Arthur muttered to himself with a bit of annoyance. "Tch. If One For All was mine..."
"Thanks, young Arthur!"
All Might didn't have time to figure out what was going on with Arthur's Quirk. He clapped his hands together, shouted excitedly, and charged at the Nomu.
Seeing that he hadn't been warped away and that All Might was coming at him, the Nomu could only fight back.
Boom!!!!!
The wind pressure from their fists clashing was way more insane than anything between The World and the Nomu earlier.
It was like a Category 12 hurricane had exploded out of nowhere, blowing away the smaller students like Izuku and the others.
Only Arthur stayed standing pretty close to the fight, squinting as he watched the top-tier power clash go down.
Back on the rock garden.
Kurogiri looked at the unconscious Shigaraki, then at All Might and the Nomu fighting in the distance, and muttered, "At this rate, there's no way to get the Nomu back. I'll have to send Shigaraki first."
Remembering how they got launched for the third time, Kurogiri still felt his hair stand on end. "What kind of Quirk was that?"
"Don't think you can run!!!"
At that moment, Shoto Todoroki and Yoarashi Inasa had caught up.
They activated their Quirks, trying to stop Kurogiri and Shigaraki from leaving.
But they were too late. Again.
Kurogiri had already activated his Quirk, pulling Shigaraki inside his body, and warped out of the USJ.
"You're countering my 100%? Then I'll go beyond 100% and beat you down!!!"
Without Shigaraki and Kurogiri backing him up, the Nomu was just a mindless, low-level wrecking machine.
Even with a Quirk that hard-countered All Might, it quickly started losing against All Might's self-sacrificing attacks.
"Villains. You might have heard this saying before?"
All Might packed all his power into his right fist, spitting up blood as he drove it into the Nomu's gut
"Go beyond!"
"Plus Ultra!!!!!"
Bang!!!!
The force of All Might's punch was insane. The friction between his fist and the air actually created sparks.
This was why, even though Arthur could mess with the Nomu, he still had to hand it off to All Might for the final hit.
Thud
The insane wind pressure, plus the shockwave that spread through the whole training ground as the Nomu went flying, made Tokoyami, Mezo Shoji, and the others who hadn't come back yet freeze.
"What happened!?"
Mashirao Ojiro, who had been warped to the fire zone, looked around at the violently shaking buildings, totally confused.
Behind All Might, Arthur's hair was getting blasted by the tsunami-like wind pressure coming from the front.
"Is this something a human can actually do?"
Minoru Mineta shouted, almost pissing his pants.
"A tough, overwhelming victory..."
Eijiro Kirishima's face was full of awe and respect. This was the strongest hero he looked up to.
Even after seeing how insane The World was earlier, everyone was still completely blown away by All Might's power.
After all, what you can actually see is often scarier than what you can't.
Among all the students, only Izuku Midoriya looked worried, like he was about to cry, and whispered something.
"Cough!"
Suddenly, All Might stumbled and nearly fell to the ground.
But an arm caught him around the waist from the side.
"Huh?"
All Might turned, surprised. It was Arthur's The World!
"You've gotten weaker, haven't you?"
Arthur walked up and leaned in to speak into All Might's ear.
No, this is bad, I'm almost out of time
All Might opened his mouth, but in the end, he didn't say anything. Just managed a bitter smile.
"The two leaders got away."
Shoto Todoroki had come back without anyone noticing, his face serious. "We still couldn't figure out who they really were."
"That power earlier was so hype, All Might!"
Yoarashi Inasa gave a thumbs-up, then turned to Arthur. "And what was that Quirk, Arthur?"
"Looks like we weren't needed after all."
A sharp voice made it obvious who had just arrived.
Looking toward the main gate of the facility, Present Mic, Midnight, Vlad, and over a dozen other Pro Heroes, including Principal Nezu, were already there.
But they were too late.
"Sorry everyone! Class 1-A's Tenya Iida, reporting back for duty!"
Tenya Iida saluted and shouted at the top of his lungs.
"You're way too slow, Glasses!"
Katsuki Bakugo taunted.
"Time's almost up."
Seeing All Might's condition, Principal Nezu immediately understood what was going on. He gave a meaningful look to Vlad, Class 1-B's homeroom teacher.
Vlad nodded, quickly ran over to Arthur, and said, "Good work. I'll take All Might from here."
Arthur didn't say anything else. With a thought, The World immediately tossed All Might into Vlad's arms and went back inside Arthur.
"Arthur, are you okay?"
Momo Yaoyorozu rushed over, looking at the wounds on Arthur's body with worry.
Even though he had awakened The World, the injuries from fighting the Nomu earlier weren't going to heal just because of that.
"I'm actually pretty hyped?"
Arthur hunched his back slightly, his face barely hiding his excitement. "It's like, after being in the dark for so long, the sun finally came through!"
The other Class A students thought back to that insane, almost terrifying ability they'd just seen.
If they were in Shigaraki or Kurogiri's place and took a hit like that, would they even survive?
Thinking about it, a lot of them couldn't help but shiver.
"All Might, you should head to the infirmary."
Principal Nezu said to All Might, who was being carried on Vlad's shoulder.
"W-wait, hold on a second."
All Might gritted his teeth and spoke, signaling Vlad to turn around. He used the last of his strength to look at Arthur.
Seeing All Might do that, the crowd in the central area looked confused.
"Arthur... young man..."
All Might spoke with difficulty, breathing hard. "Don't... don't get lost in your power."
Arthur paused for a second in his excited state, then smiled the next moment.
"Don't worry. From now on, I'm the one who controls him. He doesn't control me."
All Might managed a smile. It sounded a little weird, but as long as he understood, that was good enough.
With Vlad supporting him, All Might and the U.A. staff left the USJ training ground.
The USJ Incident was over. For now.
