Surrounded by the familiar darkness that had once became the source of security of her, Sarina felt as if she had returned back to a secure cage that despite being lonely never actually failed to give her the peace she had always searched for.
Her mind, completely blank as it slowly got lost in that darkness.
For a moment, she didn't even feel like leaving it, wanting to experience that peace instead. The only place she didn't have to hide her reality, her sorrow.
Just as Sarina was all ready to sink in that emotion of forlornness, willingly let go everything that connected her to the world, suddenly a bright light appeared in front of her like a screen, playing the scenes of her life in the Montclair family, pulling her closer to the light.
But the darkness kept on holding her, embracing her like a second skin, unwilling to let go as it tried to fight the light coming for her.
