It took them around four hours to reach the Capital City.
Stepping out of the station, while where the other four were looking at everything around them in wonder, Sarina on the hand, clenched her fist tightly, taking deep breath to quell the raging hurricane of hatred that was rising in her heart like erupting volcano.
'Montclair family, I, Sarina am back. Your destruction is soon about to begin. Soon, I will destroy everything you hold dear. Your power, your reputation, the bonds you feel proud of, I will snatch them one by one in front of your eyes till you have nothing left.
You all will shed tears of blood, will beg for mercy, for death but you will not get it. After all, death is such an easy punishment for you. I will give you all a life worst than death, where you will die every day.'
Sarina vowed, her eyes filled with anger and hatred as the familiar faces of whom she once considered her family and loved dearly, flashed before her eyes.
"Sarina… Sarina. What happened? I have been calling you out for so long. Where are you so lost?"
Clara worriedly exclaimed; snapping Sarina out of her reverie.
"Huh? Oh, nothing mom. I just got lost in the beauty of this city." Sarina told them with a smile, trying her best to hide her emotions behind that smile.
"You can admire the city later. For now, let's hurry up. Ms Forren must be waiting for us." Though skeptical, Clara decided to trust her and quickly spurred her to walk fast.
Nodding, the family excitedly stepped towards Forren who had been patiently waiting for them. Not wasting any time, they all immediately settled down comfortably in the car she brought with her, driving it straight to the hotel they were staying at.
"Mr Rowan, can you drive?" Once inside the car, Forren suddenly asked.
"Yes, I can. I have gotten my driving license years ago. But why are you asking that?" Though confused, Adrian truthfully replied.
"Perfect then. After the site is finalized, you can drive this car around for sight-seeing. Tomorrow, you can drive it directly from the station and I will collect it from there."
Forren explained.
"No, no Ms Forren. There is no need for that. We can simply travel around by taxi. There is no need to give us your car." Adrian quickly replied. There was no way he would casually drive someone else's car like that. Even Clara nodded in agreement at this pont.
"You are mistaken Mr Rowan. This car isn't mine. I have just rented it for two days for you so that you all can travel around more conveniently. Besides, taxis are even more expensive than renting a car in the city. So, you can drive it around with a peace of mind."
Forren said, trying her best to persuade them in accepting this car.
"Dad, since Ms Forren had already rented it for us then lets' just use it. We should let someone's good intention towards us go to waste like this."
Sarina also intervened, speaking in favor of using the car.
"Yes dad. We also want to travel in a car." The twins excitedly said, jumping at the thought at traveling around in a car.
"Ok then. We will travel in the car." Not wanting to hamper the children's excitement, Adrian agreed.
"Yay!!!" the twins shrieked in happiness making everyone laugh at their excitement.
Soon they reached to a small yet elegant hotel which Sarina had booked previously. Initially Adrian and Clara had asked her to book the cheapest hotel possible but how could she her family to spend a night in a place like that.
So, what she simply did was to book two rooms in a clean and nice moderate sized hotel with her own money and simply told her parents that she got them together in a discounted deal, making everyone satisfied.
Getting their keys from the reception, knowing that Forren was waiting for them, they quickly freshened up in their rooms.
Gathering in the lobby, they had a quick lunch together and once again settled down in the car, making their way to see the land Angel had rewarded Sarina with.
As the car drove from the heavy traffic roads to the clear roads of the outskirt of the capital city, Sarina stared out of the window in daze.
Oddly enough, she found the path quite familiar but couldn't pinpoint the exact reason behind this sudden familiarity.
'I definitely have been here in my past life. But for what!?'
Sarina thoughts wandered around as tried to recall which famous landmark had been built around that it managed to get such a strong reaction from her.
Sarina didn't even realize how time passed by as the car finally reached its destination.
"Sarina, let's go. We are here." Glancing at her daughter who was staring in the air, completely lost in her thoughts, Clara gently called her out, nudging her quickly get off the car.
Snapping out of her reverie, Sarina absentmindedly nodded and got off the car, joining everyone in the front.
Slightly shaking her head to clear out her mind, Sarina got serious and finally glanced up to take a good look of the land the system has given her.
SHOCK…
SURPRISE…
Or
EXCITEMENT….
Sarina simply couldn't decide which emotion she was feeling as she stood there, completely dumbfounded at the sight of the land in front of her.
Her body trembled, fist clenched tight as she bit her lip, trying hard to stop herself from shouting out loud in happiness and exhilaration as she finally realized why she found the path so familiar till now.
It was because of this land, or rather, the hidden surprise within this land had once shaken the entire country M in her previous life.
And now, this secret surprise was hers. Never even in her wildest dream had she thought that Angel would give her such a pleasant reward.
Afterall, no one other than her at this moment knew that hidden beneath this land were the first natural milk glacier hot springs of country M.
She still remembered it very clearly. At that time, she had just returned to the Montclair family and was just starting to learn about the family business when the discovery of this milk glacier hot spring was announced.
It had literally sent the entire real estate and hotel industry into frenzy. The top bosses who usually liked to live in solitary and vanish in their own world all rushed to the site, trying their best to get their hand on the golden egg laying goose.
The Montclair family was also one of them. Though it couldn't compare to those other giants, Montclair was still held 7 percent of the real estate market in country M, especially when it wasn't their main business but just a branch of the empire.
At that time, she had also accompanied her so called biological father for the bidding and was thus quite familiar with the site.
Though in the end, the land still landed in the hands of the hotel and resort king of that time, Mr Oscar Jules, who not only acquired it but also turned that land into the most popular and expensive tourist spot of the nation.
And now, that very golden piece of land belonged to her.
How can she control her excitement after knowing this?
"Oh my god sister Angel! You are literally the best. You don't have any idea just what you have given me. With this land as the base, my vision for future is even clearer and brighter than ever."
Sarina internally shrieked, extremely joyous and gratified for everything Angel had done for her till now.
Highly influenced by her host's joy, Angel also got equally excited, her face flushed pink as she felt the love radiating from Sarina for her.
[hehehehe! Your welcome host. It was all because of your diligence and hard work that you actually were able to get this reward. Keep doing it and you can easily get even more awesome rewards in the future.]
Angel exclaimed, not forgetting to remind and motivate Sarina to continue working hard and not let this get on her head.
After all, she had previously heard from other systems about how their host who were initially bumped with fire to achieve great success would later get lost in the mundane life and forget about their goals or simply give up half way, laying down and enjoying the rewards they had earned till then.
Though she was sure that Sarina would definitely not follow that path, she still found it necessary to keep on reminding her so that she doesn't get easily distracted from her goal.
Sarina obviously felt the hidden concerns and motivation in Angel's words and somberly nodded.
"Don't worry Angel. I will never give up until I personally sent each and every person responsible for my death to hell."
Sarina gravely promised, her eyes filled with hatred and killing intent as she recalled the memories that still haunts her every single night.
"Sarina dear, what happened to you? You seemed to be lost in your thoughts the entire day. Is something wrong? Are you not feeling well?"
Clara worriedly asked as she glanced at your distracted daughter once again.
Her words seemed to had worked like a spell that brought Sarina back to reality as she looked at her mother's tensed and concerned eyes and felt very guilty.
"I am fine mom. I was just thinking about the designs for the resort and got lost into them. Sorry."
Sarina exclaimed, reassuring Clara, quickly walking over and joining others in their discussion.
