Jay's Pov
I don't what ridiculous game the universe is trying to play, because I honestly don't know how I ended up in this situation, because I am the wedding planner of my ex, the ex from whom I still did not move, The, ex I thought will come back to me. The ex I thought who was in love with me.
I don't know how it happened 4 months before we were together and suddenly he come one day and says, that he wants to break up our 1 year relationship and one and half months later he is engaged and now I am his wedding planner because universe knows how to play a ridiculous game, I remember the exact conversation we had, and I thought he was trying to get back together with me
D: "This is going to be an awkward conversation"
J: "Go ahead"
D: "Jay, can you be my wedding planner, you know because I really like your business and how you put up weddings and we are also in a budget"
That we hurt me because we used to be that we but now that Freya is the we,
I looked at him for a moment and he started speaking again
D: "Jay you can totally say no"
But the people pleaser and the guy who was in front, who I think I still very much like, did not allow me to say no
J: "No, it's not a problem for me, but don't you think it will be awkward given our condition"
D: "Don't worry about she is really cool about this"
J: "Sure, No problem then We will schedule a meeting and discuss the details later"
I saw his smile widen, I don't know why but it hurt me a little.
D: "Thanks Jay you are the best"
I thought, I am the best but not for you I guess.
I came back from the thought and now I am looking at wedding themes for them,
I had a compact office, I had started my business about 2 and half years ago, I never compromise on my quality of service, but also since mine is a new company I have lots of competitors, So in order to beat them, I had to reduce price but also provide good quality service which kind of led to loss, but on the hindsight, My company is now well known and I am trying to increase the sales along with prices, I have to do that otherwise the company is at stake.
I was in my office when my assistant came in,
A: "Ma'am, Watson Ltd, CEO is here to see you"
Watson Ltd it is one of the developing event management company here, but why he his here to see me?
Before I could reply, the door opened and he barged in,
K: "Hello miss, I am Mark Keifer Watson, CEO of Watson enterprise"
J: "I am Jay Jay and may I know why did you barge in?"
K: "I am sorry about that, I have some urgent work"
J: "Okay can you now tell me the reason why you barged in"
In mind, "As we don't have any work, Mr suit is the only busy person in the world"
K: "I'll come straight to the point, I want to buy your company"
I laughed at his face,
J: "What makes you think that I will agree to it?"
K: "Simple I know your company is facing losses and you need money otherwise it will sink "
J: "Leave"
He chuckled and said,
K:"I know you will not agree to at first so I will give you my visiting
card"
Keifer's Pov
I was in my office cabin when my assistant came in, by the way I am the CEO of the Watson enterprise startup , even though it was start up was launched only 3.5 years before it picked up really well, we became one of the well established organisations, but it did not come easily, I have forgo many things, to be honest my relationship also ended because maybe I was too focused on this, but I also couldn't move on from her. it has been 4 months,
Okay now we are off topic
Assistant :"Sir the Mariano ltd is one that is taking some of our new contracts"
Keifer:"You have the details about them?"
Assistant : "Yes Sir, they have have also started recently 2.5 years before, they have really good organising and production team, I think the CEO herself curates the themes and designs for most of the event, It is original and at the same time cost effective, these are some of the projects she have done along with their price quotations" She said and handed me a file,
I looked at it and was honestly impressed by her work, but thing was the priced it was too low for the work that she is giving,
Keifer: " How is she able to do her projects at such low cost"
Assistant : "That is where it hits, the company is facing losses despite having so many projects because of her Low pricing"
I chuckled,
Keifer: "Okay then Lets buy her company"
