The grey fur on it is a dead giveaway and even the five other monsters that surrounded it have some change to their fur. Alex released his aura pressure and the air grew heavy, ripping around him like flame. "Let's see just how well you can hold up against this."
The Alpha didn't move, but the fire exploded forward, fangs and claws extended as if they had been waiting for just this. Alex whirled his sword and slashed horizontally, but it didn't produce the intended result.
Two of the monsters crouched and then, with his belly exposed, jumped in. Fortunately for Alex, he was already holding his formation, and he sent lightning arrows between his stomach and them.
They flinched back, but it was too late, and they got lighting to their face. Alex wanted to finish them off but the rest are already shaping towards him unprotected back.
