The sound of the stomach growling was incredibly clear, and Andrew heard it perfectly.
Seeing Scarlett blushing but remaining motionless, still holding the pen, Andrew was momentarily at a loss.
"Scar, are you going to eat dinner or not?"
'Maybe I should just leave. After I tried persuading her several times, Scar still refused to eat. She probably just doesn't want to, so I shouldn't stay here and make her angry.'
Just as Andrew took a step, Scarlett's crisp, cold voice came from behind him.
"Stop right there."
"???" Andrew turned back, looking at Scarlett with a face full of confusion.
Her cheeks were slightly flushed, her mouth was slightly pouted, and she was biting her lip, her mouth moving slightly as if she wanted to say something but seemed to hold it back.
'How despicable! He deliberately brought food out to tempt me, making my stomach hungrier.'
'Now that my stomach is growling from hunger, he actually thinks he can just leave like this.'
