Mona stopped sleeping in the corner.
No scene to it. One night she homed in, straight line, and instead of the foot of the wall she climbed onto the bed, put her cold patch against his arm, and stayed.
The next night she was already there before he'd lain down.
"You have a corner," Soren said.
"Augh." She pushed her forehead into his shoulder.
The corner had been the homing. The bed was a choice.
He could feel the difference in how she settled, no drifting to his signal and stopping where it was strongest. She'd decided where she wanted to be.
He let her have it.
