Chapter 57 - Chapter 58: Slavery Contract.

Coniferous Valley, Storm Bear Ridge.

The golden dawn illuminated the rocks and vegetation, coating them in a layer of brilliant radiance.

Garros pinched the scruff of the Fairy Dragon Vera's neck with his claws, lifting her before him like a kitten. He leaned in to observe her closely and asked, "You say you're from the Fairy Wilds?"

The Faerie Dragon let her tail droop and nodded.

Garros clicked his tongue, not expecting this little thing to actually have such a background.

Fairy Wilds.

This place was also known as the Feywild, a planar Domain where various Fey creatures resided, and it was no obscure minor plane.

On the contrary, it was very famous, home to many deities of the tiny races.

At this moment.

Information regarding the structure of worlds and planes surfaced in Garros's mind.

Simply put.

Planes were collections of worlds.

Countless different worlds clustered together like bubbles, forming planes based on similar characteristics.

The world where Garros was currently located belonged to the Material Plane.

The Material Plane was the foundation of all other planes; it was the one where the elements were most balanced and most suitable for the habitation and development of all living things of various races. Other planes often possessed specific characteristics, making them more suitable for creatures of a particular attribute.

For example, the notorious Abyss was the Domain of demons.

The Fairy Wilds was the territory of the Fey.

"According to her, she was accidentally pulled into the Material Plane because of curiosity, and because of curiosity, she was caught by me."

"A Faerie Dragon's curiosity is like an Evil Dragon's arrogance and conceit."

"Innate curiosity led her step by step to her current state, becoming my prisoner."

Garros stared at the Faerie Dragon, thinking to himself while also warning himself that he must never let desire and emotion manipulate him. Otherwise, the Faerie Dragon before him would be a cautionary tale.

Samantha approached with the sulfurous scent characteristic of a Red Dragon, curiously sizing up the Faerie Dragon Vera.

"Is this... a Faerie Dragon?!"

"Garros, where did you catch this Faerie Dragon?"

The Young Red Dragon stuck out her tongue and licked her lower jaw, her eyes showing a look of longing.

"She looks delicious. I've heard Fey creatures taste great. Can I have a taste?"

The Dragon Clan did not have the habit of cannibalism.

But because Faerie Dragons were too weak.

Red Dragons, who worshipped power, did not recognize the dragon status of Faerie Dragons in their Legacy, viewing them instead as Fey lifeforms like Pixies or Leprechauns.

"Vera has no meat, I don't taste good, don't eat me."

The Faerie Dragon was frightened by Samantha, covering her eyes with her claws, not daring to look at the Red Dragon.

"No."

Garros refused Samantha's request.

"She is my trophy and useful to me. Don't get any ideas."

As he spoke.

Garros opened his mouth and spat out the silver frost ring, handing it to Samantha.

"The energy is depleted. Recharge it for me."

Garros was unable to charge this cold-attribute Alchemical Item.

Samantha didn't have ice skills either, but as an Alchemist, she possessed the skill to convert Demonic Energy into item energy to recharge them.

Taking the silver frost ring.

Samantha glanced at the Faerie Dragon a few more times with curiosity and longing, looking back with every step before returning to the Alchemy Workshop she had rebuilt in the clearing of Storm Bear Ridge.

"Whew... I almost got eaten."

The Faerie Dragon let out a long breath, looked at Garros gratefully, and whispered:

"Th-thank you for not letting her eat me."

Garros's eyes flickered, realizing that this Faerie Dragon's logic was not quite normal.

She didn't seem to consider that this only happened because Garros had captured her; instead, she viewed it in isolation, thanking Garros for saving her from the jaws of the evil Red Dragon.

"She should be easy to trick."

Garros pondered, and then a plan came to mind.

Holding the Faerie Dragon in his right claw, he closed his eyes slightly and muttered some strange words she couldn't understand. Simultaneously, he extended his left claw, using a sharp hooked toe to trace and draw in the air.

It looked as if he were performing some mysterious Spell ritual.

Finally, Garros suddenly thrust out a sharp claw and tapped the Faerie Dragon on the forehead.

"There, the contract is complete."

Garros released the Faerie Dragon directly and said.

Not knowing what Garros had done, the released Faerie Dragon didn't run away immediately. Nervous and curious, she blinked and asked, "Contract? Wh-what contract?"

Garros: "A Slavery Contract, of course."

The Faerie Dragon's eyes showed doubt.

She hadn't felt any obvious Spell fluctuations.

Furthermore, she didn't think Garros could master a skill like a Slavery Contract.

But.

Garros's serious expression didn't look like he was lying to a dragon.

Garros said with a smile, "Do you feel hot all over and your heart racing right now?"

The Faerie Dragon turned pale with fright, pacing in circles anxiously, her heart beating even faster.

"H-how did you know?!"

Garros said solemnly, "Because that is the reaction to the contract's formation. Your life and death now depend on my single thought."

The body heat was because he was quietly releasing heat to raise the air temperature, while the racing heart was purely due to nervousness and fear.

Slavery-type contracts and Spells were not of low level.

Garros indeed did not know them; among the Spell skills he had obtained through the Dao of the Sorcerer in his Bloodline, there were currently none of that kind.

It's over! Enslaved by an Evil Dragon!

The Faerie Dragon hung her head in dejection, resigned to her fate.

"Wh-what do you want to do with me now that you've enslaved me?"

Recalling Garros's fierce posture when he was gouging the tree earlier, the Faerie Dragon trembled in fear.

"Don't be nervous, I have no intention of hurting you."

Garros said with a chuckle, "On the contrary, my enslavement is also a form of protection for you. If you behave, I will allow you to move freely in the valley. The Storm Bears will become your partners; they won't hurt you and will even play with you."

After the threat came the bait.

Garros specifically used the Faerie Dragon's nature to lure her.

As a Dragonkin, he knew well where the weaknesses of Dragonkin lay.

Sure enough, upon hearing Garros's words, the Faerie Dragon's dim eyes suddenly lit up.

Play!

This word was no different from a stimulant to a Faerie Dragon.

Ever since coming to the Prime Material Plane, the Faerie Dragon Vera had never played happily again.

The creatures here were each more fierce and terrifying than the last, and they didn't like playing with her. Every time they discovered her, their first instinct was to open their bloody maws to eat her.

She could only hide and use Invisibility Spells to secretly play tricks on the Storm Bears for her own amusement.

The Storm Bears didn't even know of the Faerie Dragon's existence and were indifferent to her pranks.

This way of playing without receiving a reaction made the Faerie Dragon depressed, and her scale color was growing dimmer by the day.

"Okay, okay!"

She nodded excitedly and then began to circle around Garros.

"Can you play with me too? Vera loves playing the most."
