Chapter 55 - Chapter 56: Vera, the Classification of the Dragon Clan.

Vera is a Faerie Dragon, born from the Fairy Wilds.

This is a Domain filled with all kinds of magic, oddities, mystery, and beauty; it does not belong to Planet Bernardo.

While in the Fairy Wilds, Fairy Dragon Vera lived at the top of a singing eucalyptus tree with other fey creatures, such as Pixies and Wood Sprites. Every day, they amused themselves by stealing Unicorn manes, and the gentle Unicorns never made things difficult for them. They were tolerant and kind, like elderly elders and their guardians.

Until one day.

After living in the Fairy Wilds for over twenty years and growing accustomed to the same scenery, Vera suddenly had a whim: she wanted to see the outside world.

Once this thought appeared, it took root in her mind and grew daily.

So, taking advantage of a Unicorn's nap, Vera secretly slipped away from her habitat and soared alone through the beautiful and vast Fairy Wilds, enjoying the feeling of freedom.

The sea of flowers was colorful, the rivers rushed incessantly, and the soft wind was mixed with the shining fairyland light.

Vera was intoxicated by the beautiful sights of the Fairy Wilds. Unknowingly, she forgot the Unicorn's previous warnings. Driven by curiosity, she ventured deep into the dark and decaying forest and encountered the fallen and terrifying Sorrowful Fey.

Fortunately.

During her escape, she entered an unstable spatial passage and was swept into the Serel Wilderness. After a period of adaptation, she settled down in the Serel Wilderness, living as a neighbor to a group of ill-tempered storm bears by a stream outside the Coniferous Valley.

She had secretly observed the storm bears.

Finding that these big oafs were slow-reacting and not very sharp, she would pass the time by stealing their fur to weave toys or using a Spell to turn invisible and blow air into their nostrils to satisfy her playful nature.

After waking up from a period of deep sleep.

Vera felt her nest had become too small, so she wanted to come to Storm Bear Ridge to pluck some bear fur to expand her little home and tease the stupid bears while she was at it.

As the night deepened.

Vera took action. She used an Invisibility technique to make herself invisible to the naked eye, lowering her presence as she moved quietly through the lush canopy, finally arriving at the Coniferous Valley.

But unlike usual.

Before finding the stupid bears, Vera heard a dull, thumping sound coming from the edge of the valley. Driven by her curious nature, she couldn't help but approach to investigate.

Arriving at the scene, Vera was shocked.

She saw a Dragon covered in iron-like scales, with a body so strong it was beyond compare, repeatedly striking a hard tree trunk with his sensitive parts as if he couldn't feel any pain.

So scary.

So terrifying.

Even more frightening for a Dragon than a Sorrowful Fey.

Vera didn't dare breathe or blink, for fear of attracting the attention of this terrifying Dragon.

She wanted to slip away quietly, but she couldn't suppress her curiosity about Garros, so she watched cautiously from the shadows.

This Dragon might be in heat and have no mate, so he was taking his frustration out on the poor, innocent conifers. Looking at him, although his appearance was somewhat unique, the characteristics of a Red Dragon and an Iron Dragon were faintly visible; he was likely a hybrid of the two.

A hybrid of the head of the Chromatic Dragons and the head of the Ferrous Dragons must be a naturally born Evil Dragon.

It's said that the desires of an Evil Dragon are intense, and it truly is so. He should still be a Young Dragon in size, yet he won't even spare a tree.

If I'm discovered, with my small frame, being struck by his deadly weapon... Vera couldn't help but shudder at the thought, her heart filled with terror.

Just then.

As Garros finished with one last ferocious strike, he forcibly snapped a tree trunk as thick as several men's embrace in half.

This terrifying scene scared Vera to the extreme. Her body flickered as she emerged from her invisible state, and she even forgot to conceal her aura.

Then she saw it.

The Red-Iron Evil Dragon suddenly turned his head, his eyes glaring fiercely as he stared straight at her.

Their eyes met.

Vera's whole body stiffened.

"A Faerie Dragon."

At the first sight of the Faerie Dragon, Garros was slightly stunned, feeling somewhat surprised.

There are many different types of Dragons, and they are categorized based on certain characteristics.

Chromatic Dragons.

—Red Dragons, Blue Dragons, Green Dragons, Black Dragons, and White Dragons.

Metallic Dragons.

—Gold and Silver Dragons, Brass Dragons, Bronze Dragons, and Copper Dragons.

Gem Dragons.

—Amethyst Dragons, Sapphire Dragons, Emerald Dragons, Topaz Dragons, and Crystal Dragons.

These three major categories are the most numerous and relatively common Dragonkin, also known as Primary Dragons.

Iron Dragons, Cobalt Dragons, Chrome Dragons, Nickel Dragons, and Tungsten Dragons—the Ferrous Dragons are also a major category, but their numbers are far fewer than the three main types.

There are many more such Dragonkin.

Like Sun Dragons, Moon Dragons, and Star Dragons—the Cosmic Dragons.

Faerie Dragons, Abyssal Dragons, Astral Dragons, and Hell Dragons—the Planar Dragons.

Earth Dragons, Flood Dragons, Forest Dragons, Sky Dragons, and Imperial Dragons—the Emperor Dragons.

Time Dragons, Force Dragons, and Prismatic Dragons—the Legendary Dragons.

Plutonium Dragons, Blue Diamond Dragons, Iridescent Dragons, Stellar Dragons, and Thirty-Eight-Winged Dragons—the Abomination Dragons.

Cosmic Dragons, Ferrous Dragons, Planar Dragons, Legendary Dragons, Emperor Dragons, and Abomination Dragons are all considered Secondary Dragons. The main difference from Primary Dragons is that they are extremely rare, some so rare they seem like mere rumors. Their strength levels vary; some are weaker than a White Dragon, but others are stronger than a Gold Dragon.

It's worth mentioning that besides Secondary Dragons, there are also Sub-species Dragons.

For example, Sea Emperor Dragons, Hydras, Rock Dragons, Mithril Dragons, Spined Ancient Dragons, and Great-Toothed Dragons are all True Dragons, but because they lack common characteristics, they cannot be unified into a category and are called Sub-species Dragons.

Similar to Secondary Dragons, Sub-species Dragons also have strong and weak members compared to Primary Dragons.

Back to the point.

A Secondary Planar Dragon like a Faerie Dragon is a rare sight on Planet Bernardo; perhaps in the entire planet, only this one exists.

Garros was somewhat surprised to see a Faerie Dragon.

But amidst his surprise, because his privacy had been intruded upon, a dangerous light glinted in his eyes.

"Faerie Dragon, you—"

Garros spoke in a low voice, preparing to question what the Faerie Dragon had seen.

But before he could finish his sentence, the Faerie Dragon shook her head so frantically it almost left afterimages: "I didn't see anything! Vera didn't see anything at all!"

Garros fell silent.

Two seconds later, he looked at the Faerie Dragon Vera, his dragon face squeezing out a friendly expression.

"Vera? I've noted your name."

"It's my first time seeing a Faerie Dragon. Your small and exquisite size fills me with wonder and curiosity. Let's be friends. Don't be nervous, don't be afraid. I'm not an Evil Dragon."

Garros said with a chuckle, walking toward the Faerie Dragon.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no! Waaah, I promise I won't be curious next time!"

Opposite him, the Faerie Dragon let out a scream, and her butterfly-like dragon wings suddenly unfurled.

Poof! Sparkling magical dust exploded from her body. A bright white light instantly filled Garros's vision, turning everything white and causing him to lose sight of the Faerie Dragon.

Garros simply dropped his disguise.

With a sweep of his massive wings, a violent wind arose.
