Chapter 109 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 478

finish up the meeting with one final thing to add then Turn to Jalter and ask why she seems particularly interested in Morinth's transformation

You lean forward across the obsidian table, your seven-and-a-half-foot frame commanding attention as you raise a hand to pause the ongoing discussion.

"While our thousand-year timeline is strategically sound," you say with a thoughtful frown, "I have no intention of actually waiting that long for the interesting parts to unfold. Maxine, I want you to develop a temporal observation and command system for our Mass Effect universe operations."

Maxine's eyes light up with excitement, her enormous breasts straining against her lab coat as she sits straighter. "What specifications did you have in mind, Divine Mother?"

"Something like a real-time strategy interface," you explain, gesturing expansively. "Similar to Age of Empires or Civilization. I want to be able to monitor developments across a compressed timeline, issue commands to our colonies and forces, and intervene directly when necessary."

"A temporal viewport with command integration," Maxine muses, already sketching designs on her tablet. "We could use the chronometric particles we harvested from the Time Stone extraction to create a quantum-entangled interface that allows real-time interaction with an accelerated timeline."

"Precisely," you confirm with a satisfied nod. "I want to experience a thousand years of conquest in perhaps a year of our time. Make it happen."

"Yes, Divine Mother," Maxine purrs, her golden-ringed eyes glowing with devotion. "I can have a prototype ready within two weeks."

"Perfect." Your gaze sweeps around the table, taking in your inner circle before landing on Jalter. The Dragon Witch has been unusually attentive during discussions of the Ardat-Yakshi, particularly Morinth.

"Speaking of our future acquisitions," you say, focusing directly on Jalter's pale face framed by her stark white hair, "you seem particularly interested in Morinth's transformation. Care to share why?"

Jalter straightens against the wall where she's been leaning, her black armor creaking slightly. A flash of surprise crosses her features before her customary sardonic smile returns. "Just professional curiosity, My Queen."

When your penetrating stare doesn't waver, she sighs dramatically and pushes off from the wall, her enhanced curves evident even beneath her dark armor. "Fine. The Ardat-Yakshi condition fascinates me. Sex that kills through overwhelming pleasure? That's fucking art."

Jeanne makes a small disapproving sound at her sister's language, but Jalter ignores her, continuing with growing intensity.

"We're not so different, she and I. Both created from twisted desires, both feared, both powerful enough to destroy with what should bring joy." Her golden eyes gleam with unexpected passion. "I want to see her transformation. I want to be there when she realizes that serving you is better than her endless, lonely hunting."

Morgan Pendragon gives a knowing smile from across the table. "You see yourself in her."

"Perhaps," Jalter admits, her usual defiant tone softening slightly. "Or perhaps I just want to see if an Ardat-Yakshi's melding would affect someone like me—someone already born of darkness."

"An intriguing question," you acknowledge, leaning back in your chair. "Very well, Jalter. When the time comes, you may assist with Morinth's transformation—under supervision, of course."

"Thank you, My Queen," Jalter replies with a deep bow that does nothing to hide the triumphant smirk on her face.

"And with that," you announce, rising to your full height, "I believe our planning session is complete. Begin your assigned tasks immediately. We have a galaxy to conquer."
