Vivian's POV
When Ryan had said that they would be visiting one of his islands. Vivian had expected to be taken to one of those fancy resorts that looked huge even from the air. But the little island that they were on was nothing like that, and she was glad for it.
There was green as far as the eye could see. So much so that when they had first arrived, Vivian had believed that Ryan had not yet started constructing the vacation spot that he'd said the place was meant to be.
But then they had started walking and he had shown her the buildings constructed in such a way that they fit in with the environment. The structures carefully concealed amongst the trees and vines, made to look as though they were a part of the flora.
"I wanted to make this place as eco-friendly as possible. All waste that will be produced from this resort, human or otherwise will be treated first to ensure that it does not pollute the environment," Ryan had told her that.
