Ryan's POV
Heading over to Vivian's apartment Ryan Terrell was not in a good mood at all. But his anger was not focused on the woman that he was going to see.
Instead, it was caused by, and only meant for a woman that he never wanted to see, let alone think about ever again. And yet, she insisted on being a thorn in his side. Knowing Gwendolyn Stuart the fourth, it should not have come as a surprise to him that she had taken offense to the way in which he had ended their phone call the last time they had talked.
But part of him had been hoping that after four years, she would have at least matured somewhat. That she had actually learned that other people could tell her 'no' and mean it. But Gwendolyn was proving him wrong.
Instead of leaving him alone and letting both of them continue on with their lives, Gwendolyn was currently in one of Ryan's hotels, making a fool of herself.
She was being such a nuisance that the hotel manager had seen it fit to call him.
