The whole place went silent upon his arrival. He radiated a strong force around him. One that could silence an entire kingdom. Sean stood to welcome him. 'You are welcome, your majesty' he ended by bowing.
'Where is my bride! We are leaving.' He flatly said. 'But…..' Sean tried to counter but was stopped when he turned and started walking out of the hall.
Just when he got to the exit, he heard soft footsteps behind him. He stopped and turned to see her. For the first time their eyes met and he was indifferent. 'I have a battle to attend to. Sarah would take you to Bael.' He ended heading out. He took his horse alongside his men and they were speeding off to the south coast.
'Come with me…..' she heard a woman's gentle voice almost as though she pitied her saying. They took the carriage and headed towards the northern gates. Lily finally lifted her head watching her kingdom one last time. Deep down she knew she would be back to claim what was hers. Sarah told her the journey would last a day and half. Welll who was she to object.
She drifted back, her mom and dad were seriously ill, they were actually the only people who cared for her in the entire kingdom of Taes. Her childhood was filled with their memories not until their recent illness. They've been asked since she was 10 and for 6 years no one has found a cure to it. She sat by their bed reading novels to them every night before going to sleep hoping they would survive.
But the kingdom has to move on, they needed a bew leader temporarily and the closest male child was Sean, her cousin. Sean has a twin sister Selina who godfather never treated Lily as a family. And this marriage was a perfect prove as she was not well wedded and just sold off to the ruthless prince of Bael to gain alliance.
With a tear, Lily drove off to bed. She awoke to find herself in a bed, she didn't remember walking to, then it dawned on her. She's in the kingdom of Bael. Just then she heard a soft knock on her door and asked the person to come in. It was the same made who she was with.
With a smile she said, ' your bath is ready, my princess. And breakfast has been served'. After freshening up, she went out to breakfast. 'When would he be back?', asked Lily to no one in particular but Sarah quickly answered. 'The war should end in a week hopefully….., do you want to do something'. Sarah quickly asked changing the topic.
'Where's the library, I need to read'. It actually surprised the maid. A princess should be interested in flowers not books but kept her reservations to herself leading her to the palace library. There Lily spent the rest of her week and word spread across the kingdom how the new Princess loved reading.
On the seventh night in the kingdom, Lily was peacefully sleeping when she felt hands on her thighs. Startled, she stood up abruptly. Only to be shushed with a kiss. She was familiar with the sent. It took a minute for her to realize who that was. The prince was back and he seemed to be in a light mood compared to when they first met. Maybe he won the war.
After, a full minute of kissing which Lily was alien to, he pulled away. The only light piercing through the room was the moonlight and she could barely make him out. 'Your majesty….', '….call me Louis' he quickly stopped her. She could see movements. Was he undressing, her heart skipped a beat. She had heard of this from her handmaiden who took it upon herself to educate her was she was supposed to do now as a married woman but she didn't expect it to be sooner.
'Louis I have never…..' 'shhhh…..I know I will take it easy with you.' He said climbing back over her. Slowly, he started kissing her again. Not too fast, just right. He started moving his hands up her night dress cupping her already hard nipple playing with it in between his fingers.
He started taking off her night dress slowly. Lily didn't expect that but it was nice almost too perfect like her fairy tale books. He cupped her now exposed breast placing it in his mouth and sucking it gently like his life depended on it and also giving the same attention to the other. Lily froze in place, she was new to this feeling, she actually craved for more not understanding the feeling she was having.
He stopped his action as upon deliberate act and pulled the covers over her. 'You need to rest.' And he disappeared all of a sudden. It wasn't her mind playing tricks on her. He actually disappeared. Or maybe she was tired , she kept her thoughts active until she fell into a deep sleep
