Chapter 2 — seeing into eyes
He pointed —
Gun: Hey… you. The one looking down. Come here.
Tin nudged Mike.
Mike froze.
Mike (thinking): Why me…
He slowly stood and walked forward, still looking down.
As he came closer — Charm saw his face.
Charm (thinking): Oh… how cute. This is our Mike…? So rough as a kid… now so silent.
Charm couldn't take his eyes off him.
Mike stepped forward. Gun pulled him slightly — he slipped — Charm stood up and caught him.
Their eyes met. For a moment… silence. Mike moved away quickly.
Gun: Okay… you. Sing or dance.
Mike: No…
Gun: "No"…?
Tin (whisper): Please, senior…
Mike stepped forward. Music started. He sang and moved with the rhythm.
The whole auditorium went silent again — this time in shock. Everyone was amazed. Charm didn't blink.
Evening ended, and the juniors slowly walked out of the auditorium, finally relaxed.
Mike suddenly —
Mike: Oh god… what was that!
Everyone looked at him in shock.
Tin: You were silent inside… what happened now?
Mike: Charm is my enemy. I'm staying in the same house.
Tin almost choked on his juice.
Tin: What?!
Mike: I have to act like a good kid… or my parents will cut my allowance.
Nina: You mean you're staying in that devil's house?
Lay: That's dangerous.
Nina smiled.
Nina: But no worries… today, you totally slayed.
Mike gave a small smile.
