Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: This is the So-Called Dragon Bloodline Inheritance?

"Ang!"

Friel let out a roar, knocking Jona Velli to the ground with a look of fury.

"Damned White Dragon! You actually dare to make the great Friel retreat, truly unforgivable!"

Friel immediately pinned Jona Velli down, delivering a flurry of wild punches to her pudgy White Dragon head.

High damage from the left claw, high damage from the right claw; the dragon claw strikes on Jona Velli's dragon head made her scream in pain.

"Awoo!"

"Awoo awoo awoo~"

"Wuu wuu ah ah awoo awoo~~"

A few minutes later, the Red Wyrmling straddling Jona Velli seemed to have vented her anger, sitting on top of her and dusting off her claws.

"That felt good~"

In contrast, Jona Velli, pinned underneath, was not feeling very good. Having been beaten up, her cheeks were swollen, but she still looked at Friel expectantly. Her already beautiful crystal-blue dragon eyes were now misted over, looking tearful.

"Awoo awoo~"

Aggrieved cries rang out. Friel looked at her with satisfaction and announced arrogantly.

"Hmph hmph hmph~ Now you know the power of the great Lady Friel, right? As the loser, you should be banished by the winner. Now, get out of my territory."

Jona Velli gritted her teeth inwardly, but to be honest, she couldn't beat this Red Dragon at all. She was starting to hesitate about whether she should leave.

But soon, she made up her mind. The opponent was just a Red Wyrmling after all; even with the Dragon Bloodline Inheritance, her temperament was still that of a child.

And she herself had nineteen years of life experience. Could she really be afraid of such a little Hatchling Dragon?

Thinking of this, Jona Velli couldn't help but sneer. Once she successfully tricked this Red Dragon, she would be able to live comfortably without worries.

On the surface, Jona Velli looked at Friel with a half-comprehending gaze. Being stared at like this, Friel's expression stiffened.

'Is it really okay for me to bully such an idiot?'

Friel felt as if the non-existent conscience of a Five-Color Dragon was appearing in her body, but she quickly shook her dragon head. Survival of the fittest was the rule among the Five-Color Dragon species; who cares if you're an idiot or not.

"Ahem, foolish White Dragon, I think you should understand what I mean."

Friel got off the pinned Jona Velli and spoke condescendingly.

"Now, you have been officially banished by me. Leave, and do not return."

Jona Velli rolled over and prostrated herself on the ground according to the information in her inherited memories, making a gesture of submission.

Seeing Jona Velli's actions, doubt flashed in Friel's eyes, followed by realization and an uncontrollable smile at the corners of her mouth.

"It seems you've been conquered by my unparalleled charm and powerful strength. Although you're a bit foolish, still..."

Friel thought about how her life usually consisted of nothing but eating and sleeping, which was a bit boring. Besides, food was plentiful here, so one more mouth wouldn't be a problem.

"From today on, you are the subordinate of the great Red Dragon Lady Friel. Submit to your heart's content, submit beneath my majestic form! Jiehahahahaha~~"

Friel tilted her dragon head back and laughed loudly, completely failing to notice Jona Velli's speechless expression.

'Tsk—this girl is so damn narcissistic. Just wait and see who pins whom down in the future, and who will be whose boss.'

Jona Velli laughed inwardly, but on the surface, she maintained a silly smile.

It couldn't be helped; whenever she was happy, her White Dragon body would unconsciously look this way.

Seeing Jona Velli become like this because she had accepted her submission, Friel felt even happier.

Her Red Dragon tail swept across and patted Jona Velli's shoulder a few times as Friel put on the air of a big boss.

"Don't worry, no one will be able to bully you if you follow me. Although you are very foolish, your taste is quite good."

Jona Velli nodded hurriedly, letting out awooing sounds.

"Alright, aren't you very hungry? As my first subordinate, I allow you to eat the food I haven't finished enjoying yet."

With that, Friel stepped aside. Jona Velli looked at her, then at the half-eaten buffalo. With an "awoo," she hopped over to the buffalo and began to feast greedily.

Friel watched the white figure eating, holding her dragon head high as she began to inspect her carefully.

A pair of relatively thick White Dragon horns grew backwards; her entire body was covered in white scales, which, upon closer inspection, shimmered with a metallic luster.

Her tail was thick, but more on the plump side, like a cone.

Overall, she looked quite chubby, though a barely streamlined figure could be faintly seen.

"A foolishly cute mixed-blood White Dragon who probably inherited all of a White Dragon's intelligence."

This was Friel's first impression of Jona Velli.

Soon, Jona Velli finished the food, feeling about ninety percent full.

She sat honestly on the ground, looking at Friel who was sizing her up.

"If you're done eating, come with me."

After speaking, Friel spread her dragon wings and flew into the sky. Jona Velli also took flight.

When they passed a river, Friel dove in. Jona Velli followed closely behind. Then, Friel leaped out of the river and flew upstream.

Jona Velli also washed the bloodstains off her body in the river and kept pace with the Red Wyrmling.

After about ten minutes, the two hatchlings—one red and one white—landed on the platform of a cave.

Jona Velli looked around curiously. To be honest, since her soul had transmigrated to this other world of swords and magic, she hadn't had a chance to look at this world for herself.

Friel glanced sideways at Jona Velli and stepped slowly into her lair.

"You are not allowed to come within five meters of me."

Jona Velli watched her back and followed with her claws raised.

It couldn't be helped; once the Dragon Species are full, they want to sleep. Jona Velli was no exception.

Moreover, she had been flying for five hours straight, and combined with hunting the Feral Water Buffalo and the dispute with Friel, she had exhausted too much stamina. She needed a good sleep to recover her energy.

Entering the cave, the Red Wyrmling had already curled up and fallen asleep with her eyes closed.

Jona Velli found a spot at her limit distance, buried her dragon head, and fell into a deep sleep.

However, Jona Velli did not sleep peacefully this time. Instead, she sank her consciousness into the sea of spirit, and with a thought, she arrived in the space of inherited memories.

This was a boundless ocean of knowledge. Torrents of information composed of memories and knowledge surged and ebbed, forming this vast and infinite sea of knowledge.

Here, every wave was a memory, and every drop of seawater was a storehouse of knowledge.

To be honest, Jona Velli was stunned, frozen in place by the strange sight before her.

It wasn't just blue; it was a colorful ocean, and different colors represented different dragons.

For example, red was the memory left by Red Dragons, and gold was the memory left by Gold Dragons.

"This is the so-called... Dragon Bloodline Inheritance."
