Chapter 59 - Chapter 60: Unicorn confession. Part 1.

While fighting the Pegasus, Stan's initial plan was never to use his bloodline power. However during the fight, things have gotten out of hand.

When the Pegasus summoned the deadly colorless flames, Stan had seen how deadly it was and what it had done to the beast and creatures it touched. Even his Astral Bodies which were meant to be untouchable stood no chance as they were destroyed.

When the flame had some to Stan though, the expected out come did come and that was because something inside Stan had acted on it's own. Stan bloodline power had reacted to the energy.

Just the the colourless flame. Stan bloodline power which the unicorn called dragon energy was also deadly even more deadly that the colorless flames were harmless to Stan and the entire flames surrounding it was extinguished soon after Stan couldn't hold back the energy inside anymore.

Because of this, Stan had gotten an upper hand on the fight with the Pegasus, however before he could finish the job the unicorn had interfered saying something that caught Stan attention. The unicorn mentioned Stans family name, Pendragon.

The Pendragon name used to be well-known on Earth, but nowadays, people no longer respond to it. Even Stan and his siblings, who used the name, couldn't reveal it in public because of its significance in the world of Paragon.

Following Stan's agreement to hear what the unicorn had to share, which turned out to be quite extensive, he had to withdraw his energy that was blocking the unicorn and the horse from utilizing their powers.

Subsequently, the unicorn dismissed the beast and restored all connections for the spaceship, allowing them to reconnect their teleporter to their base.

Stan convened a meeting of the faction's top leaders, including Graham. The meeting took place aboard the spaceship, and one by one, the others arrived through the portals, intrigued not only by the meeting but also by the legendary creatures—a unicorn and a Pegasus.

With everyone seated in the meeting hall, Elder Rooney initiated the meeting.

"I'll begin with the first question. Who are you two, and how did you become acquainted with our family name?" Elder Rooney inquired.

The unicorn wasted no time in responding.

"As you are already aware, I am a unicorn, known to Earthlings as my kind, and the black horse beside me is a Pegasus," the woman in a white gown explained. This time, she refrained from using her telepathic abilities on those present.

"My name is Qudsiyah, and his name is Zarathul. We learned of your family name because we have led long lives, once resided on Earth, and collaborated with dragons to resolve various issues," Qudsiyah elaborated.

"So, are you implying that you lived on Earth and interacted with the Pendragon? Is that how you're aware of our name? Then why are you now on a remote planet?" Peter inquired.

"Because we were kept there," Qudsiyah confirmed.

"By whom?" Peter probed further.

"By the Pendragons," Qudsiyah divulged.

All eyes turned to Elder Rooney, who held the Pendragon Book of Knowledge.

"The Pendragon Book mentions our ancestors' encounters with unicorns but says nothing about imprisoning one," Elder Rooney observed.

"That means she's lying," Graham stated.

"I won't call it that yet," Elder Rooney responded, looking over at Qudsiyah.

"If I may ask, what is the name of the Pendragon you had an encounter with?" Elder Rooney inquired.

"Arthur Pendragon," Qudsiyah replied.

"I see. That makes a lot of sense now," Elder Rooney muttered to himself, though the others could still hear him.

"What does that mean?" Peter questioned.

Elder Rooney took a moment before responding.

"Arthur Pendragon," he repeated. "The strongest and most popular Pendragon we've ever had. But it's strange that his records were never in the book," Elder Rooney explained.

"He is regarded as the strongest because of the great deeds he accomplished for this world, according to the Pendragons' records, and most popular because whenever one hears the name 'Pendragon,' Arthur's name is the first to come to mind. Even humans have made movies inspired by his name," Elder Rooney elaborated.

"What do you mean by his records not being in the book?" Stan inquired.

"I am referring to the fact that Arthur's life story was never documented in the Pendragon book," Elder Rooney clarified.

The Pendragon book gathers a vast amount of information about each Pendragon because when a Pendragon passes away, their knowledge and life experiences are magically recorded in the book. However, Elder Rooney expressed that there was an exception in the case of Arthur.

"How were you able to know about him then?" Peter probed further.

"All the information we possess about Arthur is based on what our ancestors who came after him knew and passed down through generations," Elder Rooney revealed.

"Doesn't that mean he's alive?" Caspian asked.

"A Pendragon's life isn't recorded in the book until they're gone, so Arthur might still be alive on Earth or maybe even on another planet," Caspian explained.

"That's the dilemma here. Our ancestors tried looking for him but couldn't sense his energy, a sign that one is no longer among the living," Elder Rooney added.

At that moment, all eyes turned towards Qudsiyah and Zarathul.

"So, both of you had an encounter with Arthur Pendragon? What do you know about his death or whereabouts?" Stan inquired.

After a brief silence, Qudsiyah spoke up.

"I only had a minor encounter with him. In fact, when I met Arthur, he was hunting my kind," Qudsiyah revealed.

"Why?" Stan asked.

"Some people misused the power that unicorns possess to commit terrible deeds. You're probably aware of the peace energy," Qudsiyah explained.

"In some kingdoms, they use us to turn their women into what we call peace makers and pain witches," said Qudsiyah.

"Having things like this within your army will make your army unbeatable. I am sure you understand why such power is crucial," added Qudsiyah.

"That still doesn't explain what you know about the Arthur," Stan interjected.

Taking a deep breath, Qudsiyah continued, "I don't know much. All I know is that the Arthur, at a certain point, grew tired of killing my kind and decided to hide us from humans. The next time I resurfaced, I didn't hear from him anymore. Mind you, I was still a baby unicorn when all this was happening."

"Arthur hid you here?" Stan probed.

"No. The Arthur hid us unicorns in a realm on Earth that replicated our own," Qudsiyah clarified.

Everyone in the room exchanged surprised glances. Undoubtedly, the realm being referred to was the Paragon Realm they now knew about.

"So, how did you end up here?" Stan inquired.

The conversation felt disjointed, with questions piling up without receiving complete answers.

The humans finally broke into our realm, just like before, and began to hunt us down. Arthur was conspicuously absent this time. I was rescued by a mysterious individual who seemed to possess the same energy as Arthur, but I didn't know his name. He swiftly transported me to a distant planet where I encountered Zarathul. We were given strict instructions not to let anyone who discovered this planet live," explained Qudsiyah.

"So, the last time you saw Arthur was when he brought you to this Earth-like realm, and the Pendragon who brought you here didn't reveal their identity. It seems like a dead end. If our ancestors couldn't find Arthur, perhaps we shouldn't trouble ourselves with searching for him," remarked Elder Rooney.

Just then, Zarathul the Pegasus made a noise, cutting off the ongoing conversation.

"Can your friend speak?" inquired Caspian.

"No, he cannot speak on his own, but I can understand him," Qudsiyah replied.

"So, what is he trying to convey?" Caspian inquired once more.

Meanwhile, Qudsiyah's expression clouded slightly.

"He said he knows what happened to Arthur and how you can find him," replied Qudsiyah.
