Chapter 2 - NILMADHAVA CHAPTER 2

A Mythological Jungle Epic Inspired by the Divine Origins of Lord Jagannath

CHAPTER 1 – The Lost Devotion

🎭 "Jo khōjogē, vah sab milēgā…" — the words of a mysterious Brahman echo through the royal court of King Indradyumna, the once-mighty ruler of Ujjain. His kingdom, once shining with gold, dharma, and devotion, now lies in ruins after a devastating war.

The Brahman tells the king to go east — to the sacred land of Utkal, where divine destiny awaits.

The king sends his most trusted warrior, Senapati Biswabasu, on a holy mission.

---

CHAPTER 2 – The Twin Hills of Mystery

Biswabasu's journey leads him through dense jungles until he reaches a valley guarded by two twin hills — Bramandri and Himandri.

Deep beneath Himandri lives a humble tribal community, worshipping a mysterious deity — Lord Nilamadhava.

As Biswabasu witnesses the tribal rituals, suddenly — a divine force enters one of the devotees. The body trembles… the eyes glow… and a celestial voice speaks:

> NILAMADHAVA (divine voice):

"Biswabasu… tume kena āśā karucha?"

BISWABASU:

"Mu āpanaṅku neba ku chāhuṅchi, prabhu…"

NILAMADHAVA:

"Jadi mote neba ku chāhu, mote dabu kana?"

BISWABASU:

"Mu āpanaṅka mrutī sthāpan karibi… mandir karibi… au pratidina pūjā karibi."

Pleased, Nilamadhava promises:

> "Tuma rājāṅka dhan, dharma, au sampatti phirī āsiba…

Kintu mu eka lakadi bhābare samudra thāru āsibi.

Se lakadi neba… tāhāre mandir kariba."

Biswabasu donates the entire jungle and twin hills to the deity — a sacred promise that will shape destiny.

---

CHAPTER 3 – The Curse of the Chutki

Nilamadhava warns:

> "Jadi tuma bānśa re kehi ei chutki bhāṅgiba…

se din mu tāku kṣamā karibi, kintu mo bhāuni Maa Chandi tāṅku saṅhāra karibe."

The temple of Jagannatha is later built, and the king regains his kingdom.

Biswabasu becomes the guardian of the tribal lands.

But centuries later — his descendant, Gopal Jamidar, breaks the promise.

---

CHAPTER 4 – The Fall of Gopal Jamidar

Gopal Jamidar insults the tribal people and the god Nilamadhava:

> "Ei jungle, ei pahar — sab mora!"

Nilamadhava warns him to return what is divine.

Gopal mocks the deity and goes to court to claim the land —

but as he stands on the courthouse stairs, lightning strikes —

and he dies on the spot.

That night, Nilamadhava disappears into the twin hills — never seen again.

---

CHAPTER 5 – The Blood of the Descendants

Years later…

Gopal's son Rajendra Jamidar befriends Kumar, a descendant of the tribal protector family.

But greed returns.

Rudrapratap, a forest officer loyal to dharma, warns the tribals that Rajendra plans to seize their land.

One night — Rajendra kills Aarav, Kumar's cousin — the boy who played Nilamadhava in the village rituals.

The next morning, Kumar finds Aarav's lifeless body beneath the sacred tree.

---

CHAPTER 6 – The Divine War

When Rajendra and his guards attack the village,

the tribals rise in fury — joined by Rudrapratap and his men.

A brutal jungle battle erupts under thunder and fire.

As the flames rise, Maa Chandi enters Kumar's body.

Kumar's eyes blaze with divine rage —

he wields the trident, slays Rajendra, and ends the curse of greed.

After victory, Kumar blesses his people:

> "Eei jungle, eei desha… sada dharmare rahu."

He walks into the deep jungle with a burning mashal —

and disappears between the twin hills,

just like Nilamadhava once did.

ENDING CARD:

Only to rise again when faith..
