Chapter 2 - Awakening of the Old World

The world did not end instantly.

It collapsed in stages.

After the last ice age ended, Earth returned to an unnatural balance—like it was pretending to be normal again.

For one month, everything seemed calm.

Too calm.

But that calm was a lie.

Nature was changing.

Animals were evolving at a terrifying speed.

Beasts grew larger, stronger… and smarter.

Some began to radiate strange energy—something humans could not understand.

And then it began.

Humans started awakening.

A hidden force inside living beings—long dormant—began to rise.

It was called Mana.

A power that should never have awakened in this era.

At first, it was small.

A spark of fire.

A drop of water that never fell.

A flicker of wind without source.

But soon… it evolved.

Fire became destruction.

Water became control.

Ice became deathly precision.

Magma became annihilation.

And something darker… Void.

The world didn't just change.

It restarted.

Society collapsed within days.

Technology fell silent.

Cities became ruins.

And humanity… returned to something like the pre–middle ages.

But the worst part?

The monsters were not just animals anymore.

They were something else now.

Sher Shah opened his eyes.

A cold breath escaped his lips.

His vision blurred for a moment… then sharpened.

He wasn't where he remembered.

And more importantly—

Something inside him was awake.

A pressure burned in his chest.

Not pain.

Not fear.

Power.

His past abilities—long forgotten, sealed, or destroyed—began to resurface one by one.

Fire.

A flame flickered in his palm.

Water.

It responded like a living extension of his will.

Ice.

The air froze at his command.

Magma.

The ground trembled under its heat.

And then—

A silence.

A void.

No sound.

No energy.

No presence.

Just absence.

Sher Shah stared at his hand.

"…So it wasn't a dream."

Outside, the world was already changing.

And he was no longer ordinary.

Because in this new era—

Power didn't just exist.

It chose who would survive.

And Sher Shah had just been chosen.
