Angel's POV
Angel was making her bed when she got notification on her phone.
"You gonna reply to my messages and calls or not" .
"Seriously stop being childish"
" Are you fine? Did you reach home ? Stop leaving on seen."
"Tit for tat" I replied
" oh now we are having a conversation "
"NO" and then I turned my phone off and slept.
Next day in office I was ignoring him but now Iam here in presentation and my boss is just being stubborn and texting me. I glared at him and told him to shutup.
When presentation was completed. " Miss Angel in my cabin now". And after that he went away.
Here I am still thinking of going or not but why does he wants to see me now also he has his own new secretary. Thinking about her I haven't seen her today not even during presentation. Then after encouraging myself I went to his office.
" So blessed Iam that you came to my office to talk to me"
" Correction . You forced me "
" You should have replied to my texts I won't have done it"
"Why ? You were ignoring me and was buy with your new secretary "
"Why is someone jealous?"
Being flustered I said "I am not" and turned back to leave but he caught my wrist and made me sit on the table and kept his both palm on my either side.
" I know I did wrong but please don't get angry" after hearing him I turned her face other side.
"Someone's cheeks are puffed due to anger " he teased me and succeeded. I was about to say something but closed my mouth immediately.
"I will not repeat my mistake again just don't ignore me Please "
"Okay " I said and he smiled. I swore to god I haven't seen him smiling since day one and he is looking so sweet.
" You look good when you smile"
His smile falters and then he smirks "Good or less devil?"
I smiled and said " I know we are not dating but I just hate to see you ignoring me"
"It won't happen again " he reassured her.
"I wish"
"Also stay away from jack I don't like him"
"Huh! we are not close infact we even had a fight."
"Why?" he asked while clenching his jaw.
"I don't know he was warning me about you ."
"I will kill him" he muttered under his breath.
"But I kicked him and after that we are enemies" Is aid while punching in the air.
"Don't do such things when Iam not around you can get hurt"
"Fine" I said while rolling her eyes.
"Also don't starve yourself I was so scared yesterday when you fainted" he worriedly said.
"Okay fine but I am on my periods and I was having cramps yesterday"
" You should've told me "
"Told you? you were the worst of all situations. You literally made me cry. Huh"
"I know and I won't do that again because you're someone whom I never wanna lose ever"
"Why"
"Because you are mine Angel" he whispered in her ear .
I started blushing but said " No one can own me ".
" I can and you can't run away from me"
"What if I do?"
" Then I will find you " he said .
At night
After today's conversation wth Edward I was kind of reassured but why Iam liking it. It's not like I love him right? I was in my thoughts when I heard th notification of my phone.
" Miss me?"

"I don't do wishes baby I make them come true "
I was blushing after reading his texts then another notification came
"You had dinner?"
"Yeah"
"Thank god someone is behaving like adults"
"Shutup stop making fun of me"
"Ooo someone is angry"
"Stop teasing me"
"But jokes apart Angel I don't want you to skip any of your meals and this is my last warning. You understood?"
"Yeah"
"Good now hav a good sleep"

I threw my phone on bed and also my self to have a refreshing sleep because I am already tired.
Next Day
I went to office early because of a meeting and it went well as usual but boss hasn't come yet. I had to manage our business partners alone but its very weird for him to be late because he is always on time. I even texted him asking about his whereabouts but no replies.
I was having my coffee in cafeteria but it is now ruined by my favourite enemy none other than Jack.
" Too bad someone's knight in shining armour is not here"
"None of your business"
"Obviously not. But I wanted to see you after all your boyfriend is in hospital"
" What?" I widened my eyes
"Don't tell me you didn't know"
"That's why I am shocked you idiot"
"Aghh you're so boring no fun you didn't even know about him I wanted to see your upset face huh" after saying all this he went away
I was shocked to hear about this so I took a leave and went to his house but his bodyguard stopped me. But I really wanted to see him so I tricked him and went inside but he ran after me and caught upto me. He started dragging me out of the house but-
"Stop"
Someone shouted from upstairs and there I saw my beloved boss glaring at his bodyguards. He came downstairs and snatched my wrist away from that other guy's hand.
"All of you leave"
Then he turned around to me and I saw the softness in his eyes for me.
"I told you to be safe When I am not around. Stop putting yourself in danger."
"I am sorry. I was worried about you and you weren't even replying to my texts also I heard you are injured. So I came here to-"
"Be a super woman"
I glared at his remark.
" Ohh so someone was worried about me" he said snaking his both hands around my waist.
"Stop being so delusional I was worried if something happened to you my job will be in danger"
"Ahn I see"
He traced his fingers on the mark on my wrist because of the bodyguard.
"Let's apply ointment on it" he said and dragged me to his room.
When he was applying ointment on my wrist I saw few bruises on his face.
"What happened?" I asked while looking at the bruises.
" You know me I am not an ordinary man. This is normal in our job"
"But-"
"No questions "
At that time I was recalling my father's words in my head.
"Angel"
I came out of my trance after hearing his voice.
"Huh"
"Come with me" he said and held my hand and took me downstairs. There were few bodyguards standing with their head bowed down.
"Andrew" he called one of the bodyguards. Ohh he is the one who was chasing me. He came forward.
" Hand" Edward said sternly. His eyes were cold. What is he even trying to do. After that in a second he took his right hand and twist it. I swear I could hear the bone cracking sound and that man was groaning in pain.
"Edward! Leave him! What are you doing? He is in pain." I shouted and tried to save the but goddamn he is so strong.
"Leave him! He is in pain"
"So were you when he held your wrist tightly"
"No I am not I swear"
"That's the difference between You and me you always wanna save someone and I will hurt them if they will lay a finger on you"
My eyes became watery and I was very sad after his words and I started crying. After that he left that guy alone and told everyone to leave. He picked me up in his arms and took me to his room.
He gave me water. But me being stubborn didn't take it.
After sighing for moment he hugged me and calmed me.
"Don't do that again I feel traumatized from all of this. "
He was understanding her situation and also cursing himself for loosing control for a moment. But she also needs to see this for future consequences and not to put herself in danger.
" okay fine but please calm down first"
After that he dropped her home. Her eyes were puffy due to all of that crying session.
After that she was about to sleep but she got a notification on her phone from new number.
