Chapter 1 - lide love

The first times..

The first time Aarav noticed her, it wasn't dramatic. No music swelled, no wind caught her hair in slow motion. She was just standing at a bus stop, arguing softly with a broken umbrella while the rain insisted on winning.

He almost didn't go over. Almost.

"Want to share?" he asked, lifting his own umbrella slightly.

She looked up, measuring him in a second that felt longer than it should. Then she smiledbsmall, cautious, but real. "Only if you walk fast."

They didn't walk fast.

Instead, they walked slowly, carefully, like two people pretending they had somewhere important to be, when really they just didn't want the moment to end. They spoke about ordinary things—the weather, the late bus, the way the city smelled different in the rain. Nothing remarkable. And yet, everything about it stayed with him.

Her name was Meera.

After that day, they began to meet in pieces.

A shared bench.A borrowed pen.A coincidence that happened too often to remain coincidence.Their conversation

Grew roots, stretching deeper with each passing day.

Arav learned that Meera loved old songs but never remembered the lyrics.

Meera learned that Arav pretended to be confident, but counted his steps when he was nervous 💗

Love didn't arrive all at once.It unfolded quietly.

It was in the way she started saving him a seat.

In the way he noticed when she was quieter than usual.

In the comfortable silences that no longer needing filling .

One evening, months later, the rain returned. They stood under the same umbrella the same one Arav had carried that first day though its edges were now slightly frayed.

"Do you think people know when it happens?"Meera asked."When what happens?"

"When something ... changes."

Arav though about it.About the first day.About every moment since."No,"he said."I think it changes slowly. And then one day you realize it's already different."

She didn't reply immediately.Instead, she stepped a little closer, just enough that their shoulders touched.

"That sounds scary.,"she said softly It is,he admitted. But only because it matters."

She looked at him then not quickly this time not cautiously.Fully.Honestly..And in that quiet space between raindrops and heartbeat, something unspoken settled into place.

Not a grand declaration.Not a perfect moment.

Just a truth

Love isn't always Loud....

Sometimes,, it's just two people choosing again and again to stay under the same umbrella, even..💖💖💖
