Sora took a deep breath. He watched all of the gods, goddesses and mortal souls stand around in a stupor. He weighed his options on how to absorb their power so their souls would shatter quickly and peacefully.
"Athena, what's the best way to go about this? I've defeated plenty of enemies in battle, but this seems different. They're completely defenseless and it feels like I'm murdering them." Sora said with a frown.
"Stop frowning. I formally sentenced them to death with witnesses." Athena said sternly. "You are not murdering them. Do your duty as a god and execute my orders. Brie, the same applies to you. Follow your orders as a goddess and execute these traitors and absorb their power."
"Understood your majesty. How do I absorb souls, though?" Brie asked politely.
"You must channel your magical energy and absorb their lifeforce into yours." Athena explained.
"Search for the lifeforces of the older, stronger gods first. They are easier to sense."
