Chapter 50 - Wedding Day!

Brie enjoyed the amount of time and attention she received since making peace with the elves. Mina even started teaching Brie some elven magic. Brie's healing magic grew immensely and she now could use earth magic in addition to other magic and skills.

The process of having her wedding dress completely created for her blew the ladies' minds. Sera, Sasha, Leila and Celeste sat in disbelief as Mina's close friend used magic to create an immaculate white wedding dress that illuminated with an angelic glow. Because of the customization it fit Brie perfectly. It showed some mild cleavage, but the layering of the dress accentuated Brie's petite yet strong figure and according to Sasha and Sera, "[that dress] makes your butt look amazing!"

Her parents finally arrived and they enjoyed a nice meal with the King and Queen. Xavier and Mina explained how Brie risked her life coming here but they were thankful she did. Her parents were shocked but very impressed with their daughter.

After dinner, Mina accompanied Brie to her room to give her words of encouragement.

"Tomorrow is your big day and remember, you and Sora will be the first couple to be blessed in marriage by Athena and the Elves! Your kindness and compassion will help our alliance tremendously. Just make sure you and Sora enjoy all of it. It's something you'll remember forever!" Mina said cheerfully.

"Thanks! I'm nervous. How am I ever going to get any sleep?!" Brie exclaimed in a panic.

Mina gave Brie a hug and whispered, "don't stress it will be an amazing time!"

She also handed Brie a small green capsule.

"Just take it with a full glass of water and the elven magic inside the capsule will put you safely to sleep," Mina explained. "Sora has one as well. Are you excited to see him?

"Yes! It's been so nice to get to know you, your family, all the elves, Chimera— everyone's been so lovely and amazing. I can't believe it's my last night here!"

Brie said with a smile.

"Well, take the capsule and get some rest my dear," Mina said as she left the room.

Brie took the magical sleeping capsules and slept very well.

The morning of the wedding was chaotic for everyone as elves and chimera rushed to get everything in their main garden area ready for the wedding.

Brie felt deja vu as she remembered the dream she had about her in her wedding dress.

"Just make sure you consummate your marriage tonight dear! Dorian always insisted we waited until we were married. He hasn't changed at all! Every time we make love, he looks at me with such love and compassion, even though it's been over 2500 years," Camilla cheerfully told Brie.

"I bet you two will have the cutest babies," Mina, the formerly unrecognizable person in her dream said.

'This is absolutely crazy. It's not exactly the same but how was my dream so accurate?' Brie thought to herself as her friends and family all showered her with compliments.

"Not sure maybe it had something to do with Aphrodite visiting you in your dream that night, maybe you got a glimpse of the gods' foresight? Celeste spoke telepathically to Brie.

"Maybe. I just miss Sora and the other knuckleheads too. Spending an entire year and a half with someone only to cut off all communication for a week makes you miss them that much more," Brie responded to Celeste.

"Yes, but I'm sure it's for a good reason and I'm sure it'll make tonight that much more special. After the ceremony and the after party, I will be taking you and Sora to a secret location for you too to enjoy the evening together."

"Please tell me you're not staying…" Brie joked.

"Of course not. You will have a night of complete alone time with Sora. Then you and Sora are off on your honeymoon!"

"Can't just tell me where it is?"

"Absolutely not! You look beautiful. I'm sure Sora is a nervous wreck. You are calm and happy. It's very refreshing to see such young, beautiful love!"

"Thanks for all you do Celeste. I hope you get a nice break when we're on our honeymoon."

"You're welcome. I'm glad to be a part of the party and help out. All of us will take a break to allow you and Sora to enjoy your honeymoon."

"Yay!" Brie said and stopped thinking telepathically.

Brie's father finally walked in and started crying.

"My baby is getting married. You look so beautiful," he said.

"Thanks Dad!" Brie exclaimed. She went to stand up to give him a hug but realized she couldn't get up.

"Mina, is there a spell on me so I can't get out of this chair?" Brie said with a giggle.

"I'm surprised you just noticed, trust me dear it's for your own good," Mina said while laughing.

"Alright ladies, go find your places. You all look great in those beautiful blue dresses. I made sure you got front row seats! Sasha, it's your turn to get dressed and beautified!"

"Brie, you owe me for this," Sasha joked as she got into her Aquamarine maid of honor dress. Her silver hair now had purple highlights instead of pink highlights to accentuate Brie's make-up and match Sora's eyes.

Brie's right eye has aquamarine eyeshadow, and her left one had a perfect amethyst eyeshadow and it was done eloquently. She mirrored Sora's eyes. The elves put so much thought and detail into the wedding.

Sasha and Brie laughed and talked about all the adventures they had together before they met Sora before it was finally time.

"Looking good Sora. Looking reaaaaaaal good," Levi said while giving a whistle.

'That haircut was amazing. It felt like a better version of the ones I had on Earth,' Sora thought as he stood in front of a mirror with an elven tailor.

"Excellent. How does everything fit?" the tailor asked.

"Perfectly thank you. Levi, you look great too. Thanks for being my best man. I appreciate you," Sora said politely.

"I'm honestly glad it's Levi. I couldn't handle it. Too many people," Jubelle laughed.

"I'm just glad I wasn't made the ring bearer. I get I'm young and all but I'm not that young. It's the King and Queen's youngest daughter, correct?" Julius asked curiously.

"Yes, Lily. Crazy how she's 40 years old but looks like a 4-year-old toddler," Levi said. "Elves have some crazy way with time. It moves more slowly here in their magical barrier and they age more slowly as well. Quite remarkable."

"All the races age differently, honestly, it's kind of crazy," Julius said. "I think Azazel is like 7000 or something. No one knows for sure."

"Aren't you also immortal though?" Levi asked.

"If you wanna call it that. I can choose to go into eternal slumber whenever I want, but I'm actually only 19 so I don't plan on that anytime soon. Just hoping you guys won't get me killed!" Jubelle said jokingly.

"You guys are funny," Sora said while shaking his head.

"Alright Sora, let me just put on the cufflinks and you're all set," the tailor said.

Sora wore a black suit, white dress shirt, black tie and black dress shoes. His cufflinks were gold bows with an arrow through them and made from elven material. They looked amazing.

Levi dressed in a black suit with a purple shirt and black tie. He felt the purple shoes were a bit much, but the tailor explained how everything is to highlight Sora and Brie's attributes.

Jubelle wore a vampiric suit given to him by his father. It was black with their family crest on the back and on the pocket square pocket in royal purple, matching their eyes.

Julius wore a nice white polo and dress slacks with white shoes.

"I wish my parents were here," Sora said with a frown while looking toward the ceiling.

"They will all be watching, don't you worry," Celeste reminded Sora telepathically.

"Thanks Celeste!" Sora said happily and ended the link.

Xavier walked into the room.

"Everybody is looking very good. That is amazing, thank you Taylor Rosethorn. You are free to go. Please feel free to come to the after party," Xavier said, his voice booming with excitement.

"Thank you, your majesty," Taylor said as he gave a wave and left the room.

'A tailor named Taylor, that's funny,' Sora thought. 'Maybe that's why he didn't tell us his name?'

"Now today is a very special day Sora, especially but you but it's also a special day as we will announce our allegiance with your alliance, including the humans, to the Chimera and Elves of MeadowSong!" Xavier exclaimed.

"Really?! That's amazing! Thank you so much your Majesty," Sora said with a bow.

"You can stop calling me that. If anyone should be bowing here, it should be me. You are a god after all" Xavier returned Sora's bow.

"Please don't bow to me or treat me like I'm a god. I'd prefer we just viewed ourselves as equals, like I do with my party," Sora finally had the courage to say.

"Equals. Yes, ok I can agree to that. I will join your council. However, we will stay in touch as the elves and Chimera are not going to relocate for now. It's in the best interest and safety of all of us to stay," Xavier said politely.

"I agree with that wholeheartedly. I offered Bishop a party invite if that's OK with you. He said he will let me know at the after party. Are you OK with that if he does join?" Sora asked.

"Yes I am. But let's save these conversations for another day. You and Levi are needed by our minister," Xavier said as he gave Sora a hug.

As the king hugged Sora, Sora thought "eye of Chronos," and kindly hugged the king back.

When the King disengaged and turned to leave the room, he stood in shock.

"My goodness. You can freeze and manipulate time as well. Thank you for showing me," Xavier said as he turned and faced Sora, whose amethyst eye illuminated and radiated beautifully.

"Yes, but only for one minute. I'm still working on it. I only recently gained this power. I cannot combine my two eye skills yet, but what do you think?" Sora said with a large, kind smile.

"I think we're about to witness the wedding to the savior of Exteria," Xavier said, returning the smile. He went and hugged him again in order to keep Sora's secret.

"My party knows, but this is very kind of you," Sora said as he thought 'release.'

"Let's go watch the lovebirds get married!" Julius said.

Everyone laughed, including Xavier, as Sora stepped out to the most beautiful view he'd seen in either life.
