GA: Chapter 161 – But First: Welcome to the Group, Aizen!
Child of Nature: "A person's strength doesn't lie in power alone—but power is the most important factor."
Child of Nature: "If your spiritual power were strong enough, you wouldn't worry about Kyōka Suigetsu. If your strength were enough to overwhelm him completely, his intelligence wouldn't concern you either."
At the root of it, Su Yunqing's anxiety was simply a reflection of her own insufficient strength.
If she had genuine power, she wouldn't be thinking like this. She'd simply find Aizen's entry into the group entertaining.
Bai Xuan genuinely admired Aizen's intelligence, strength, and charisma, and believed he would accomplish even greater things with the chat group available to him—but he felt no fear of Aizen based on his performance in the anime.
Because he trusted his own strength.
Sacred Guard Left Wing: "A striking appearance, a gentle and refined bearing, exceptional intelligence, ambition that reaches the very top, the resolve to understand everything, impeccable power, an ability that all fear."
Sacred Guard Left Wing: "Holding everything within his grasp—even actively cultivating his opponents."
Sacred Guard Left Wing: "No wonder Bai Xuan said you were far more suited to kingship than I was at the time."
Angel Yan finished reading through the Bleach memory copy and gave a quiet nod.
A person like this—even without joining the chat group, simply transmigrating to a new world—would probably create something extraordinary.
With the chat group available, his potential grew even higher.
If it weren't for the situation between Aizen and Momo Hinamori, she might have looked into whether any angel in angel civilization had high compatibility with him.
Ordinary Group Owner: "You finished that fast?"
Ordinary Group Owner: "Well—you are an angel, I suppose."
Uchiha Dance King: "An interesting individual. Both strength and intellect at the apex."
Uchiha Dance King: "I acknowledge you."
Uchiha Dance King: "If you want to move against me—if you can manage it, by all means try."
Uchiha Dance King: "Under these eyes, you won't have a single opening."
Uchiha Madara used his Sharingan to rapidly scan through the early portion of the Bleach narrative and got a general sense of Aizen's character.
Just as Bai Xuan and Angel Yan had assessed—a genuinely intelligent and compelling individual.
But that wasn't enough to make Uchiha Madara wary, let alone afraid.
What he felt was only excitement.
The Oldest Godslayer: "Kyōka Suigetsu—whether it can affect my mind is something I'd genuinely like to test."
Be My Son: "Kyōka Suigetsu is a weapon. It's as powerful as it is precisely because its wielder is Aizen—they elevate each other, just as me and my Tremor-Tremor Fruit. I'm also curious whether Observation Haki can resist its influence."
Lighthouse Richest: "Whether it can resist or not I can't say—but judging by Aizen's strength in the anime, even if your eyes or abilities could block Kyōka Suigetsu's influence, you still couldn't beat him in a straight fight."
Lighthouse Richest: "That said—I mean before he joined the chat group, not now."
Lighthouse Richest: "Now you'd have to actually fight to find out."
He didn't watch anime as quickly as the others, but through the chat group he had fed the memory copy to JARVIS and used its computational power to extract everything relevant to Aizen and analyze the character at maximum speed.
A genuinely difficult individual to deal with.
Thanos's intelligence was set to maximum in the lore, but his portrayal in the memory copies leaned heavily toward demonstrating overwhelming force with the Infinity Stones—his intellect wasn't showcased as prominently. Aizen, on the other hand, displayed both strength and intelligence to their fullest extent.
That air of absolute control—unshakeable regardless of circumstances, treating everything beneath his notice with an arrogance that came from the very core of his being. It was a genuinely perfect villain conception.
And that deception was even more frightening.
He had deceived all of Soul Society for years with almost no one noticing.
If this man appeared in his own world, Tony wasn't sure he could see through the disguise.
And even if he could—what about the rest of the Avengers?
Hard to even imagine.
Turn Da gu into Soup: "I need to work on my spiritual power too—I feel like I wouldn't be able to resist it otherwise."
Turn Da gu into Soup: "After transforming into Tiga I probably could, but I can't stay transformed every second of the day."
Turn Da gu into Soup: "Frustrated.jpg"
Turn Da gu into Soup: "@Heavenly Path General, you're probably in the same position."
Heavenly Path General: "…"
If you can't say something useful, don't say anything.
But just as Daigu had said—he needed to find a way to strengthen his spiritual resistance as well. If an opponent had an ability like Aizen's, no amount of physical strength would matter without the mental fortitude to resist it.
Ordinary Group Owner: "Reading your responses, I'm starting to feel like my worries were unnecessary."
Ordinary Group Owner: "Resting chin on hands.jpg"
Ordinary Group Owner: "Anyway—@Fifth Division Captain. Things being what they are, if you can pull it off, go right ahead. Just aim at the ones who talk big—Uchiha Madara, Marquis Voban, Whitebeard—direct it at them."
Ordinary Group Owner: "But before all that—"
Ordinary Group Owner: "Welcome to the group, Aizen."
Child of Nature: "Welcome to the group, Aizen."
Turn Da gu into Soup: "Welcome to the group, Aizen."
Umaru: "Finally a moment where even a bottom-tier group member like me gets to say something."
Umaru: "Welcome to the group, Aizen."
Umaru: "I'm just an ordinary person—please don't use Kyōka Suigetsu on me. Completely wasted effort."
Kasashita: "I kind of want to complain about why everyone is welcoming Aizen specifically when there are two new members—but… well. He's Aizen."
Kasashita: "I'm also just someone who watched Bleach. Please don't use any schemes or tests on me."
Kasashita Shiya said it with complete sincerity.
"A final twist I hadn't anticipated."
In the Seireitei, Aizen touched the frame of his glasses lightly. Whatever emotion was in his eyes remained unseen by anyone.
Not just the Group Owner—the attitudes of the others had also diverged from what he'd imagined.
Beyond confidence in their own strength, they displayed toward Aizen something like an unusual acceptance.
Knowing his ruthlessness. Knowing his true nature. And yet still—
Heh.
At its core, Aizen was fundamentally solitary. Not merely because of strength—but because of the divergence in how he saw things.
If it were possible, he might have actually entertained the thought of being an ordinary Shinigami. One without this intelligence, this talent, this capability. Someone plain and unremarkable.
A genius born into the world, who at the end of it all wanted nothing more than to be ordinary—Hōgyoku had seen through that truth. And Kyōka Suigetsu had shattered as a result.
Aizen's intelligence and talent had always set him apart from normal Shinigami. His heart was lonely—he had no peers, no one who could engage with him on equal footing.
Kisuke Urahara could have been that person. His intelligence had earned Aizen's genuine recognition—Aizen had even felt Urahara's mind surpassed his own. But their beliefs had pointed in incompatible directions.
