GA: Chapter 96: A Conversation Between Sacred Kesha and Sacred Hexi

Tenshi Hikari, Uchiha Madara, Whitebeard, Bai Xuan, Tokisaki Kurumi... by now, their strength had already far surpassed what any of them had been in their original stories.

And yet here she was — the Group Leader — still this weak.

She had to catch up. She was the Group Leader, after all. Being dead last in the chat group forever was embarrassing. Other chat group leaders would probably look down on her.

Kamen Rider World.

Tendou Souji's gaze was calm and unhurried as he read through the chat group messages.

"Grandmother always said — my evolution moves faster than the speed of light. No one in the universe can match the speed at which I evolve."

"Points... Ultimate Form... it's time to put that on the agenda."

"I refuse to fall behind anyone."

Honkai World. A planet within the Angel Nebula.

This was the domain of Celestial King Hexi — a place she had retreated to long ago, far from the chaos of the universe, living in quiet seclusion.

Today, however, the planet had a visitor. Or perhaps, in a different sense of the word, another owner.

"Well, well — if it isn't Queen Kesha herself. What brings you all the way here? Must be a slow day."

Hexi glanced sideways at Sacred Kesha, her tone lightly teasing, those calm, water-like eyes carrying a particular kind of charm.

"What, not happy to see me?"

Sacred Kesha smiled softly in return, her gaze drifting to where Hexi was busy at work in her laboratory. Something complex flickered behind her eyes.

"It's been so long. Have you ever thought about going back out into the universe?"

"Staying cooped up in a lab all this time — don't you ever get tired?"

Hexi shot her an unamused look at that. You really don't know why I keep doing research even after retiring, do you.

Kesha caught her reaction and couldn't help but smile.

The reason Hexi had stayed here all these years — wasn't it precisely because she couldn't stop worrying about the angel civilization?

The stronger the angel civilization grew, the greater the dangers it would attract.

Void Liang Bing...

Kesha let out a quiet sigh and pushed the thought aside.

"The reason I came today — Hikari, that girl, has joined somewhere rather remarkable."

"Oh?"

That caught Hexi's attention. She knew exactly how proud Kesha was — there were very few things in the known universe that she would give a second glance. For her to use the word remarkable was genuinely unusual.

"It's an unknown existence from outside the universe — functions something like a platform, but its members come from entirely different worlds."

"And in those worlds, the path they walk isn't purely technological. Or rather, technology is only a supporting force."

"Magic. Chakra. Abilities. Spiritual energy. Pokémon."

"In a sense, the existence of the Void has also been confirmed."

A spark of genuine interest appeared in Hexi's eyes. She understood immediately that the "different worlds" Kesha was describing weren't outer space — they were true, distinct worlds entirely.

"Take a look at this and you'll understand."

Sacred Kesha reached into the Sacred Knowledge Treasury and produced a strangely shaped fruit. It resembled a pineapple in some ways, but covered in distinct protrusions, etched with unusual runes, and — perhaps most striking — it gave off an unmistakable lustrous sheen.

Hexi took it from her with interest, and a flash of data streams crossed her eyes.

"Unable to analyze."

"There's an unknown energy wrapped around it."

Kesha replied casually, legs crossed, completely relaxed. She'd already tried that herself.

"What is it?"

The curiosity in Hexi's eyes only deepened. Whatever this fruit was, it clearly wasn't from their universe — and for Kesha to have brought it out specifically, it wasn't just something to snack on.

"A Logia-type Devil Fruit — the Glint-Glint Fruit."

"Eat it, and your body transforms into light itself. You become immune to physical attacks and the vast majority of energy-based attacks, while gaining the speed and striking power of light itself."

"The weaknesses are seawater, Seastone, and a force called Haki."

"Fascinating thing."

If Hikari hadn't told her — and she hadn't confirmed it through testing — she never would have believed a single piece of fruit could do all of that.

The elemental body transformation alone put it in an entirely different category from anything current science could explain.

It carried some resemblance to the Sacred Divine Body — yet was clearly something else entirely.

If she had to describe it in one word, it would be: mysterious.

Magic, chakra, spiritual energy, Devil Fruits — all of them fell under that same word.

There was an intersection between technology and the divine. Perhaps these substances and energies could eventually be explained through science — but it was equally clear that science, as it stood now, wasn't there yet.

"Tsk tsk tsk — if anyone other than you told me this, I wouldn't believe a word of it."

Hexi turned the Glint-Glint Fruit over in her hands, a light laugh escaping her, the amusement in her gaze growing richer by the second.

"What's the value on something like this?"

"How much did you trade for it?"

"Cheap."

Kesha said it without a second thought.

"The resources it takes to create one Divine Body could buy you a whole pile of these."

"That is cheap."

Hexi nodded in agreement. To two beings standing at the very pinnacle of the known universe, the resources behind a single Divine Body barely registered.

"You're not telling me all this just because you want me to research it... are you?"

Something clicked, and Hexi gave Kesha a distinctly suspicious look.

"Those were your words — I never said anything."

"Though if you really can't resist the temptation, I could always have Zixin handle it instead."

Sacred Kesha winked at her, right eye closing briefly. She already knew Hexi wouldn't refuse — or rather, couldn't. The pull of the unknown was something Hexi had never been able to resist.

In research, raw talent only took you so far. What carried you the rest of the way was genuine, consuming passion for the work.

Hexi was exactly that kind of person.

"Hmph."

Hexi let out a cold snort and turned her head away, refusing to look at Kesha.

The slightly sulky expression that came with it made Kesha laugh again despite herself.

"Alright, I'm done teasing you."

"I didn't come here just to have you research these things."

"There's something else."

At that, Kesha rubbed her temple, a faint expression of strain crossing her face.

"The place Hikari joined has disrupted my original plan. As things stand now, the Galaxy Power is no longer the right path for her."

"Though in another sense, this is a good thing. The angel civilization has found a new future — one we never even conceived of before."

"So I've designated Hikari as the next Angel King."

"But she still needs to grow. Her strength isn't the concern — it's her mentality that needs tempering."

"Being a qualified ruler takes more than power alone."

"What do you expect?" Hexi gave Kesha a sideways look. "You think today's angels are like we were back then? After everything we went through, we had no choice but to grow. It wasn't optional."

Then she continued:

"And it's not just Hikari who needs to grow. Those girls from Tian Cheng need it too."

"Their talent is solid — but they're still too green."

"Third Generation Divine Body research, Sacred Language algorithmic refinement, celestial mechanics — there's simply too much they need to learn. For where they are right now, it's already pushing past what they can handle."
