Welcome to the world of Magus Infinite.

Magic is powered by Anima, which is drawn from the soul itself. Every spell cast is a piece of the mage's soul made into form and sent outward.

Each cast costs soul-substance, and below ten percent Anima Depth, a mage begins drawing from the core of their soul rather than their reserves. This produces dramatically more powerful spells but at the cost of memories, identity, and selfhood.

Mage tiers (by Anima Depth)

- Initiate: 1-29

- Acolyte: 30-59

- Adept: 60-89

- Arcanist: 90-99

- Sovereign: 100+

Adepts gain a 200-year lifespan and develop a "magnet-like" soul that draws ambient Essence from the world around them, allowing sustained casting indefinitely under normal circumstances.

Skill growth slows after rank 50, with each subsequent point producing larger qualitative changes.

Spell tier evolution: Disciplines transform at threshold crossings (rank 30, 60, 90). The path the spell takes in evolution is influenced by how the mage has been using it.
