The One Who Left It All Behind

In a world where strength decides a person's fate, Rand had nothing. Born without power… this is his story. Rand was born to a woman named Rill. The moment he entered the world, the tests showed it no flicker, no energy, nothing but zero. But Rill still chose to keep him. His father, Banner, did not. "WE CAN'T KEEP HIM! HE HAS NO POWER!" Banner shouted. "HE IS OUR SON!" Rill fired back. The room filled with anger as their voices clashed. Then… silence. Banner turned and walked away, leaving behind Rill and Rand. And so, his story begins. Years passed after Rand's birth, and while other kids showed signs of power, Rand had nothing not even a flicker. The other kids laughed and bullied him, calling him "useless." After some time, Rand began to believe it himself. Rill could not tolerate it, but she couldn't do anything. If she told the other kids' parents, they would call the Cops… and take Rand away from her. so Rill worked day in and day out trying to support her son but nothing worked Rand kept getting bullied and kept getting depressed... after a few years kids began gaining more powers some had fire some had flight but Rand still had nothing but Rand did not let this stop him, he trained day in and day out secretly he hid the fact he trained from his mother but 1 day at around 3 AM there was a knock at the door it was the Cops. some kid's parent heard from his son that a kid in their school has no power so the parent called the cops. Rill woke up from her sleep to open the door, as she went down the stairs she saw flashing lights outside and knew exactly what it meant "oh no" Rill whispered as she went to Rand's room to grab him "WAKE UP RAND" Rill screamed. Rand woke up to Rill pushing him off the bed telling him "Go hide in the basement!" Rand does not understand why and asks "Why mom?" and Rill replies with "JUST GO" after Rill yells at Rand to go he finally goes to the basement. in the basement is a big metal door that was very heavy for rand to move but after trying he finally opened it and in the basement is lots of survival kits and food "hu-" just then the door of the house breaks down from police as the house floods with police officers "Oh Shit!" Rand grabs the basement's door handle and pulls it hard closing it with him in the basement, as more police officers get in the house Rand gets more anxious about whenever they will find him or not. minutes pass and there are still sirens in the house but no sign of even finding Rand. but Rand wants to go find his mom so he makes a critical decision that will change his life. he goes out to find his mom. as he opens the door of the basement an officer is standing with his back to it unaware that the basement door is opening, Rand opens the door fully and runs behind the couch "What the hell am i doing?!" Rand whispered to himself, the officer heard Rand and went to look in the basement, but then. Rand grabs the door handle and closes it on the officer locking him in the basement by Rand putting a chair on the handle. Rand continues walking in the house and then he sees 2 officers talking and he throws the TV remote in the hallway to make them go away, but only 1 officer walks to investigate while 1 stays so Rand chooses to fight. Rand makes the move of punching the officer, the officer gets hit and stumbles back as Rand continues the attack as the officer tries to overwhelm Rand, just then the officer grabs Rand's hands but Rand retaliates by kicking the officer in the balls, so the officer goes down making Rand go to the other side of the house. Rand hides behind a wall and when he peeks he sees his mom being questioned and beat up by the officers making Rand question if he should go help his mom or not. Rand makes a critical decision to go to his mother, Rand runs forward to Rill, as he does an officer notices him and uses his powers and electrocutes Rand shocking him as he falls down, Rand tries to get up but it's no use his body is getting electrocuted "Ah Wh- what the he-" Rand says as an officer grabs Rand's mouth and burning it with fire power making Rand unable to say anything "Ahhhhh" he can only scream. When the officer finishes burning his mouth Rand has passed out already from shock and Rill says to herself "I told you to stay there..." then officers grab Rand and brings me him out the house, Rill had enough if the shit thats going on as she uses her powers which is Glowing. blinding every officer for a few seconds giving Rill enough time to go to the officers outside as she punches one making the other officer drop Rand but the other officer uses Fire power push Rill back as her light is getting weaker making Her start to burn but Rand is trying to escape the officer's grip but it's too strong. As the officer still pushes fire onto Rill, Rand bites the officer's hand making him let go. Rand But Rand does not stop he punches thee officer relentlessly making him stop burning Rill but it's too late Rill is already burnt she is half black half her normal color and Rand is still punching the officer into a bloody pulp but when Rand stops he sees Rill burnt And he says "Mom?..."
