Mahito woke from his daze and licked his lips; the residue of the wine seemed to linger on the tip of his tongue. He looked around. Due to the decisive battle between Mahito and Zen'in Naobito, the entire area seemed to have turned into ruins, with residual Cursed Energy everywhere. The moonlight poured onto the earth without obstruction, and the thunderous rain clouds had completely vanished.
Having used Black Flash, Mahito was now filled with a sense of omnipotence, just as Nanami Kento had said:
Cursed Energy, which normally had to be actively controlled, was now being used as naturally as breathing. Conclusions that were once impossible to reach no matter how much he racked his brain could now be reached just by thinking. Things that were once impossible to achieve could now be perfectly accomplished with just a general theory.
All Jujutsu Sorcerers pursue Black Flash. At this moment, Mahito understood this deeply.
Because he had used "Simple Domain: Descent" to transform into a dragon, he was now stark naked. He began to walk forward with his bare body, Cursed Energy flowing naturally. His perception extended nearly tens of thousands of meters; even without the Six Eyes, he could still see through the flow of Cursed Energy in all things. But now, he retracted all his perception, like a flat piece of paper being folded repeatedly, stacking infinitely, and finally accumulating inside his body.
Then, he began to form hand seals in the most relaxed yet solemn manner.

—Soul Creation.
—Soul Simulation: Juzo Kumiya.
—Construction Technique. Technique release.
A giant "egg" enveloped Mahito. He closed his heterochromatic eyes as he was encased.
Kenjaku had once told Mahito that the human body is an extremely mysterious structure. To create an incarnation that perfectly matches oneself, there is no other way but to use an "embryo."
Even with Kenjaku's thousand years of knowledge, to create such a body, one would have to become a mother and personally give birth using a womb.
But Mahito and Kenjaku were different. The physical body that was mysterious to Kenjaku was quite the opposite for Mahito. Since Mahito himself was the curse of humans toward humans, he was born with the ability to control human biological structures. His soul modification ability was based on this.
And now, with the enhancement of Black Flash, his talent was bearing fruit.
A person suddenly emerged from the egg. It was a tall, bald man, completely naked, with distinct muscle lines, as strong as a wild beast. His eyes were tightly closed, and after being ejected from the egg, he fell to his knees and collapsed face-down on the ground.
He was the Construction Technique incarnation that Kenjaku had found for Mahito, but now Mahito no longer needed this defective vessel.
The egg slowly vanished, and Mahito appeared on the spot, stark naked. He opened his eyes, his heterochromatic gaze glowing in the night sky like twinkling stars. He glanced at Juzo Kumiya, and a piece of cloth drifted down from the sky, covering Juzo Kumiya's body.
Mahito stepped forward. As he did, a pair of white socks appeared on his feet. When his feet touched the ground, a pair of geta appeared. As he continued forward, with a wave of his hand, a kimono and hakama appeared on his body.
A haori appeared in his hand, which he put on. Then he raised his hand, and a bamboo hat appeared, which he placed on his head.
Reverse Cursed Technique: Soul Creation — Construction Technique.
His technique flowed smoothly and clearly. Even without forming hand seals, the physical objects he constructed were perfect.
Suddenly, a voice appeared beside him. "Oh my, you've made quite a scene. Mahito, did you have fun?"
Mahito did not turn his head. He knew who had arrived. "Teacher Kenjaku, I hope you have been well," he said.
"What are you saying? 'It's been a while'… the time we've been apart isn't even three hours," Kenjaku said with a beaming smile. "Exterminating the Zen'in Family in a mere three hours—the jujutsu world is surely in for a massive earthquake now, isn't it? Are you ready for a head-on confrontation with Gojo Satoru, Mahito?"
"Has it only been three hours? I felt as though three years had passed," Mahito said, somewhat dazed.
He switched his Soul Creation once again, changing it to Tsukumogami Manipulation. A silver light appeared in the night sky as he raised his right hand. Mirokuji Kirigiri flew over from the distance, landing obediently in his palm.
He held Kirigiri horizontally in his hands. There was a visible crack on the once-charming blade. He blew a soft breath on it, activating his Construction Technique, but the crack did not heal as he had hoped.
"This was hit head-on by a Black Flash, wasn't it?" Kenjaku took one look and knew exactly what had happened. "Black Flash is a phenomenon formed by the dual impact of physical force and Cursed Energy. Besides its extraordinary destructive power, it also leaves behind a terrifying residual Cursed Energy that makes wounds very difficult to heal."
"Never mind that Mirokuji Kirigiri is an ancient blade without self-healing capabilities; even a Jujutsu Sorcerer who has mastered the Reverse Cursed Technique would find it extremely difficult to heal after a direct hit from a Black Flash."
"Is there any way?" Mahito asked.
"If we can find a highly skilled Construction Sorcerer, it might be possible to restore it," Kenjaku mused while observing Kirigiri. "But that's difficult. At the very least…"
"…that Construction Sorcerer lying at your feet is nowhere near good enough."
Kenjaku was referring to Juzo Kumiya, but even as he spoke the name, Kenjaku didn't spare the man a single glance, as if he were nothing but thin air.
Kenjaku continued:
"Because a tsukumogami is not a simple Cursed Tool. They truly possess life. Sometimes, a tsukumogami can even become a Cursed Spirit. It's an extremely unique form of life with many mysteries yet to be solved. Although I know it's unlikely, I'll ask anyway—if you're willing, I can find another excellent vessel for a tsukumogami."
"No, I am very satisfied with Mirokuji Kirigiri," Mahito refused.
Kenjaku wasn't surprised at all. If it weren't for genuine affection, even with the Tsukumogami Manipulation technique, it would be impossible to cultivate a tsukumogami in such a short time. This favoritism was exactly why a tsukumogami's birth was so significant.
"Then there's no way for the time being… No, perhaps there is," Kenjaku said thoughtfully.
"What is it?" Mahito asked.
"I know an ancient sorcerer who has begun to revive within a modern person. However, the incarnation body isn't ready yet and needs some time. In the future, we might be able to ask for her help. Of course, she has a rather eccentric personality, and you might have to pay a certain price," Kenjaku said.
Mahito actually knew of this person: the ancient sorcerer Yorozu, the strongest Construction Sorcerer in the original work. In terms of mastery over the Construction Technique, she was truly the strongest in the world.
"I will prepare the price." Mahito gently caressed Mirokuji Kirigiri, and the blade responded with a soft hum. He placed Kirigiri at his waist, and a scabbard manifested over the blade. The scabbard and hilt touched lightly, making a crisp sound.
Kenjaku looked around and suddenly asked, "There are still people in the Zen'in Family's basement. Do you want to kill them all?"
Mahito said indifferently, "And then we completely break with the jujutsu world, and Gojo Satoru mobilizes everything to find us, leaving us infinitely passive?"
"Mahito, you're still being naive," Kenjaku said coldly. "Do you think Gojo Satoru won't come looking for us if you don't kill those people? Do you remember what I just told you?"
"The elite forces of the Zen'in Family, one of the Big Three Families, were wiped out by you. This is an extremely serious matter. Gojo Satoru will inevitably use every means to find you and will surely do his utmost to kill you."
"Right now, there is no difference between killing that group in the basement and letting them live. Killing them would better harden your heart. So, why not do it?"
Mahito slowly turned his head to look at Kenjaku. "You seem very keen on me killing those people."
"I'm just reminding you not to have the benevolence of a woman," Kenjaku said seriously. "Whether you're willing to admit it or not, the fact that you are a Curse remains unchanged. Since you are a Curse, if you want to increase your power, you must act according to the ways of a Curse. Otherwise, you will only drift further and further from power."
