Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 - The Moon Chooses

‎Minho's POV

‎It started with thunder.

‎The sky over Seoul Moon Park broke open just after sunset, rain crashing against the glass of Minho's apartment. He stood by the window, drenched in moonlight and silence, heart aching like something feral had its claws in his chest.

‎Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Chan's face - steady, calm, unbearably gentle.

‎Every time he breathed, his wolf whispered, mate.

‎He had fought it long enough.

‎When the knock came, he didn't need to ask who it was. His pulse answered before his mind did.

‎He opened the door.

‎And there he was.

‎Chan - wet from the rain, shirt clinging to his skin, eyes burning with something that made Minho's breath stutter.

‎"You didn't even hesitate," Chan murmured, voice low. "You knew it was me."

‎Minho swallowed. "You shouldn't be here."

‎"Then why did you open the door?"

‎Silence.

‎The kind that says everything.

‎Chan stepped closer until the air between them was heat and heartbeat.

‎"Minho," he said, barely a whisper. "Stop running."

‎Minho's walls cracked, his voice trembling. "I can't keep pretending this doesn't-"

‎His words broke off as Chan's hand came up, brushing his cheek.

‎A spark. A pulse. The bond answering.

‎The rain outside roared louder, like even the sky was holding its breath.

‎"Then don't pretend," Chan whispered.

‎And Minho gave in.

‎Their mouths met, hesitant, then desperate, then something deeper. The bond surged like fire under their skin, flooding through every nerve until it hurt to breathe.

‎Minho clutched at Chan's shirt, dragging him closer.

‎Chan's arms wrapped around him, steady and protective, as if he'd been waiting his whole life for this one moment of surrender.

‎When they finally broke apart, Minho's forehead rested against Chan's shoulder, both of them shaking.

‎Chan's voice came rough and soft all at once.

‎"This isn't about control, Minho. It never was. This bond, it's a choice the moon made. But I'm choosing it too. I'm choosing you."

‎Minho's eyes stung. "And what if I break you?"

‎"Then we'll break together."

‎Their lips met again, slower this time, a promise written in breath and heartbeat.

‎(I'm not good in writing smut, so there's no smut in the story. Don't be upset ಥ‿ಥ)

‎---

‎Across Seoul Moon Park, under the same storm and moon, other bonds flared bright and new.

‎[Changbin & Seungmin]

‎They'd argued again, as always, until Seungmin shoved him against the wall and whispered, "Then prove it."

‎Changbin did not in words, but in the fierce, quiet way he finally stopped hiding his heart.

‎Their fight ended in laughter and a kiss that said they'd finally stopped running.

‎[Hyunjin & Jisung]

‎They were chaos and comfort all at once.

‎Jisung's nervous chatter faded when Hyunjin cupped his face and said, "You talk too much, but your heart's louder."

‎Jisung's reply was a shaky laugh and the first kiss that turned everything golden.

‎Their bond clicked - wild, tender, inevitable.

‎[Felix & Jeongin]

‎It happened softly.

‎No shouting, no storm just the two of them curled up on Felix's couch, stars glimmering through the rain.

‎Jeongin whispered, "You make it easy to breathe," and Felix's heart melted.

‎Their bond sealed with a quiet, glowing hum like dawn breaking gently.

‎---

‎Chan's POV

‎Later that night, Minho slept curled against him, peaceful for the first time in weeks. The bond had settled - warm, alive, steady.

‎Chan traced slow circles along Minho's back, eyes soft with awe.

‎For all his power, for all the bloodline and dominance of his family, nothing had ever made him feel as strong or as human as this Omega asleep in his arms.

‎"You're mine," Chan whispered, not in claim but in reverence. "And I'm yours."

‎The rain eased outside, leaving only the hum of the city and two hearts beating in sync.
