[Ding!!! Does Cassian Lockheart wish to awaken!?]
[Y/N]
Cassian, who had been sitting watching TV with a glass in hand, choked on his drink. His blue eyes widened as shock flooded his senses.
"W-WHAT!?" he shouted, jumping to his feet.
"Seriously!? I-I thought I didn't have the chance!? Why did it only say that now!? It's nearly 12pm!" He began rambling, trying to understand why it had only chosen now to awaken.
"No, no! It doesn't matter," he shook his head violently. "It doesn't matter. I can awaken… that's all that matters!" Steeling his resolve, Cassian looked back at the white game-like panel floating in front of him—more specifically, his soul panel.
"Yes," Cassian said with barely hidden excitement.

"Ah~" Cassian let out an unbidden moan as a euphoric sensation washed over his body. It felt like he'd been taken to seventh heaven. His body felt light, and he now couldn't understand how he'd lived with such a heavy body before.
"A-amazing!" He muttered, rolling his shoulders and taking a deep breath. Just testing his body, it felt amazing. His body moved like never before. He could see clearer, hear more, and smell scents he'd never smelled before.
"Is this what all awakeners feel?" he said playfully. He looked at the panel that had bundled in the corner of his vision. He had chosen to ignore it due to the amazing experience, but now he could pay attention. Moving back to the sofa, he sat down and finally looked at the notifications.

[Talent Skills: Maid Summoning(SSS), Random Copy(SSS), Unnamed Garden(SSS), Affection Rate(SSS), Status(SSS)]
Information flooded Cassian's mind—all about his talent, how it worked, and how all his talent skills functioned. After a moment, Cassian had the full scope of what his talent could do. Not its limits, but the base functions of it.
As he recalled the information he'd been given, a large manic smile stretched across his face, and his blue eyes shone with excitement.
"This… this is PEAK!" he screamed, fist-bumping the air. "Seriously! Maids from the past! Ah~ I can't wait!" He looked around his living room at the leftover wrappers and mess. He thought maybe—just maybe—this was fate's way of telling him that he was such a bum his talent needed someone to clean for him.
"Well, who cares. Should I summon a maid now? I mean…" he looked around at the clock. It read 11:48pm. "It's my birthday… hehe, I might as well treat myself." With that decided, Cassian stood and walked into his bedroom.
It was cleaner and quite bare, but that hardly mattered. He had far bigger things to do.
"Sigh~ I can do this," he said as he began speaking.
[Talent:–:Maid Summoning]
Cassian felt the mana within his body churn before exploding outward, shaking the room. It didn't lose control, though. Instead, it all seamlessly moved to the floor. A blood-red summoning circle formed.
It was circular with writhing runes in a language Cassian couldn't understand. Next, the runes began circling, spinning in rapid succession until finally they abruptly stopped. Within the circle, Cassian saw a female silhouette form. Finally, she came into view, giving Cassian a full view of her.
But before he could think or even process, the woman bent slightly, lifting the hem of her maid uniform and spoke. Her voice was soft and melodic, sending shivers down Cassian's spine.
"I greet my Eternal Master."
Cassian didn't reply. Instead, he focused on studying her appearance.
She was beautiful, undoubtedly so. She had long crimson hair and crimson eyes to match. Her skin was pale, as if all blood had fled her body. Small fangs protruded from her mouth. She wore a traditional black and white maid dress with white thigh-highs, all hugging and accentuating her alluring figure.
'She… looks like a vampire!' And as if confirming his thoughts, his [Status] skill activated.

'…'
What the hell!? 1864 years old!? That's possible!? A vampire!? Immortality!? A count!? Why was his first maid so dangerous!? Well… the more dangerous, the better, he supposed.
'Damn… damn…' Cassian didn't know what to say. This was fucking awesome! 'Holy shit, this is sick! And she's hot… oh, and I got blood affinity… ah~ could this day get any better—'
Cassian's thoughts were cut off by Maribel's voice, laced with irritation and nothing like the dutiful tone she'd used when greeting him.
"Stop looking at me like that! It's disgusting!" she spat, standing straight and oozing an aura of nobility.
'Well, she was a count. While I don't know what that means, it sounds quite high up,' he thought before replying.
"Oh? What do you mean?" he said playfully.
"Like you're looking at your property! I'm nobody's property. I'm a count! A noble vampire! You, a mere human, have no right to look at me like that," she spat, arrogance oozing from her. Her eyes screamed, 'You are beneath me.' And honestly…
'Hmmm… can I send her back? I want a new one.'
Cassian didn't like it.
Not one bit.
