Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: The Strength of the Strongest

Chapter 101: The Strength of the Strongest

The next second, the thought of "run" exploded in Rin's mind like a thunderclap.

Gojo Satoru's strength had already exceeded the scope of "containment"; being caught for even a second meant utter defeat.

But before he could even move his feet, Gojo Satoru pressed his hands together in front of him, and pale blue Cursed Energy instantly spread out.

Limitless / Limitless Void activated at full speed!

Gojo Satoru's figure vanished again, moving so fast that even Rin's Sharingan could only catch a blurry streak of light, unable to lock onto his trajectory.

Rin knew he absolutely couldn't stand there waiting to die. Almost simultaneously with Gojo Satoru's disappearance, he slammed his hands together, and black-red Cursed Energy suddenly erupted.

"Boogie Woogie!"

The Cursed Energy instantly locked onto a crow circling in the sky.

The next second, Rin's figure swapped places with the crow, appearing high in the air.

In the eyes of the onlookers, his figure and Gojo Satoru's figure vanished almost simultaneously, only to reappear in different locations.

"It worked!"

A sliver of relief had just sparked in Rin's heart.

As long as he could continuously use position swapping to buy time, there might still be a chance for a turnaround.

But the next second, his eyes suddenly widened.

Gojo Satoru's target wasn't him at all!

The pale blue streak of light did not head toward Rin; instead, it shot directly toward the Gargoyle, which was still standing in place and hadn't fully reacted.

Rin's Sharingan instantly captured Gojo Satoru's trajectory.

However, the Gargoyle's reaction speed was far too slow to keep up with the pace of this Special Grade confrontation.

By the time it finally realized the danger and tried to spread its wings to dodge, Gojo Satoru's face, filled with excitement and arrogance, was already right in front of it.

Gojo Satoru raised his right hand in front of the Gargoyle's ferocious head, and crimson, violent Cursed Energy condensed in his palm.

The high temperature of Reversed Cursed Technique: Red caused the surrounding air to begin twisting. He looked at the Gargoyle's scarlet eyes and curled his lips into a cruel smile:

"Goodbye. Don't interrupt my game anymore."

"Oh no!"

Rin roared, quickly forming hand signs again, attempting to activate Boogie Woogie to swap the Gargoyle back.

The black-red Cursed Energy and Gojo Satoru's crimson Cursed Energy erupted almost simultaneously, clashing in the air with a grating sizzling sound.

Boogie Woogie successfully triggered, and the Gargoyle's figure instantly disappeared from in front of Gojo Satoru, reappearing beside Rin.

However, Rin's expression did not improve at all; instead, it grew heavier.

Without even turning around, he could feel the dissipating Cursed Energy fluctuations coming from beside him.

The Gargoyle's body maintained a standing posture, but everything above the neck had vanished. From the empty cross-section of the neck, scorching blood gushed out like a fountain, staining the surrounding ground red.

That Special Grade Cursed Spirit, which had fought alongside him and could withstand Special Grade attacks, was completely killed by Gojo Satoru in just one second.

Gojo Satoru floated in the air not far away, the crimson residual heat of Reversed Cursed Technique: Red still lingering in his palm.

He looked at Rin's pale face, his tone laced with undisguised contempt:

"It seems your 'trump card' is nothing special either."

Rin glanced at the Gargoyle's corpse.

He finally understood that the gap between himself and Gojo Satoru could not be bridged by "strategy" or "trump cards"; it was the absolute crushing power of the strongest, a despair that made even struggling seem ridiculous.

Miguel, hidden behind the broken wall, watched this scene, his hand clutching the black rope trembling slightly.

He knew that Rin was next to face Gojo Satoru's wrath.

Rin's figure landed on the back of a huge black Cursed Spirit, floating in the sky.

Rin stood on the Cursed Spirit's broad back, like a God of War suspended in the air, but when his gaze fell upon the remaining corpse of the Gargoyle, a hint of coldness still flashed in his eyes.

That was a Special Grade Cursed Spirit capable of shrugging off attacks, yet it was instantly killed by Gojo Satoru.

But Rin quickly suppressed his emotions. His Sharingan glowed red, and black-red Cursed Energy wrapped around the Gargoyle's remains, retrieving them into the Cursed Spirit Space.

At least by absorbing the Cursed Energy from the remains, he could slightly compensate for the consumption just now.

On the ground, Gojo Satoru stretched his neck, his bones making faint cracking sounds, as if killing the Gargoyle had merely been a warm-up.

He raised his head, his Six Eyes piercing through the swarm of crows, accurately locking onto Rin on the Cursed Spirit's back, and curved his lips into a perfect yet oppressive smile:

"Now that I've dealt with the small fry, you're next."

Rin wasted no words. He knew clearly that this was not the time for hesitation.

The black-red Cursed Energy around him suddenly surged, condensing in his palm like boiling magma. He spread the five fingers of his right hand, aimed at Gojo Satoru on the ground, and a low voice rang out in the wind:

"Katyusha!"

The next second, ten black-red Cursed Energy Rockets, as thick as arms, surged out from behind him!

Each rocket carried a sharp whooshing sound, dragging long Cursed Energy trails behind it, resembling ten black bolts of lightning, densely bombarding the location where Gojo Satoru stood.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!..."

Ten continuous deafening explosions erupted on the street, and black-red Cursed Energy shockwaves spread out like a tsunami.

The area where Gojo Satoru was instantly became covered by the explosion. A ten-meter-diameter crater was blasted into the ground, rubble and dust shot into the sky, and the buildings on both sides collapsed with a crash under the impact, reinforced concrete fragments raining down.

The entire Shinjuku battlefield seemed to have been flipped upside down, and even the Jujutsu Sorcerers observing from afar were knocked to the ground by the blast wave.

"This power..."

Miguel, hidden behind the broken wall, widened his eyes, forgetting even to breathe.

He had never witnessed such violent Cursed Technique; even the attacks of a Special Grade Cursed Spirit might not possess this level of destructive power.

Outside the battlefield, Principal Yaga looked at the destroyed street block, veins throbbing on his forehead with anger, and roared into the communicator:

"These two maniacs! Are they trying to tear down all of Shinjuku?!"

But anger aside, he could only immediately order all standby Jujutsu Sorcerers to evacuate to a safe zone to avoid being affected by the aftermath of this Special Grade confrontation.

The smoke and dust gradually cleared, and everyone's gaze focused on the center of the giant crater.

They all wanted to know if Gojo Satoru had been injured by such a dense attack.

The next second, a pale blue figure slowly emerged from the dust.

Gojo Satoru hovered above the giant crater. There was no dust on his white short hair, and his black coat didn't even have a wrinkle.

He looked down at the giant crater beneath his feet, then looked up at Rin on the Cursed Spirit's back. There was no ripple in his Six Eyes, and his tone was still contemptuous:

"Do I need to repeat myself?"

"In my eyes, you're just a kid who hasn't grown up yet

The pale blue Limitless circulated around him, like an invisible barrier.

Those ten Cursed Energy Rockets just now hadn't even managed to break through his defense, nor had they forced him to move a single step.
