Continuing her search, Jenny soon found a second piece of titanium ore and her first piece of copper ore.
Jenny was happily scavenging everything she could find, but at that moment, her gaze suddenly landed on a strange object.
"Huh? What is that?"
The object was growing on the surface of the limestone, entirely blood-red in color, shaped like a flower bud waiting to bloom.
[Wow, what kind of flower is this? It's kind of beautiful!]
[It looks like a piece of art.]
[It's really pretty!]
The viewers also saw the blood-colored flower and couldn't help but marvel at it.
"Let me scan it!"
Jenny swam over and pointed her bracelet at the blood-red flower to scan it.
[Blastflower. It shares a symbiotic relationship with the red-eyed detonator fish. It raises the detonator fish by secreting special sulfides, while the detonator fish provides protection for the flower.
Assessment: The sulfides within its body can be used to create basic thermal weapons.]
"Holy crap! Chats, did you hear that? Thermal weapons!!!" Jenny was shocked by the words.
[Damn, does that mean Jenny can make a handgun soon?!]
[Haha, with a gun, she'll be able to dominate this water world!]
[But what is this detonator fish Gaia mentioned? The name sounds pretty fierce!]
Just as they were talking, everyone suddenly saw the blood-red flower bud bloom open.
"Did it just open?!" Jenny watched in confusion. After the petals opened, there was no beautiful stamen inside. Instead, a strange fish was revealed.
The strange fish had one bulging eye. That single eye darted around rapidly before locking directly onto Jenny's gaze.
"A fish grew out of the flower?" Still stunned, Jenny quickly scanned the strange fish with her bracelet.
[Ding. Detonator Fish. During the breeding period, adult fish use a unique suicide-style defense to protect their young.
When encountering enemies, the sulfur inside their bodies triggers a violent chemical reaction, causing a small-scale explosion. Beautiful girl, please escape immediately!!!]
"Holy shit! Explosion?!"
Hearing Gaia's warning, Jenny instantly reacted and began swimming upward as fast as she could!
And almost the very moment Jenny fled, the one-eyed strange fish shot out from the flower's center with a weird sound. "Hiss"
It sounded exactly like a bomb fuse being lit!
[Holy crap, this fish can self-destruct!]
[Jenny, run!]
[The strange fish is chasing you!!!]
"Ahhhh!" Jenny screamed as her arms and legs pumped furiously.
It had to be said that human potential is limitless. In this life-or-death moment, Jenny completely mastered the swimming techniques Gaia had taught her!
In those few seconds, her swimming speed nearly reached that of a professional athlete!
BOOM!!!
A few seconds later, a violent explosion erupted behind Jenny!
The detonator fish really did explode. Even underwater, the explosion was incredibly loud!
Invisible shockwaves spread through the water.
Jenny immediately felt a sharp pain in her ears as her head spun from the blast.
[It exploded! That scared the hell out of me!]
[This is ridiculous. There are fish like this in the sea!]
[Is Jenny okay?!]
[Damn, that gave me a fright!]
The viewers in the livestream room subconsciously began worrying about Jenny's safety.
Jenny forced herself to endure the dizziness and kept swimming forward until she safely returned to the escape pod.
"Fuck."
Only then did Jenny dare to relax. She lay flat on the floor, breathing heavily.
"I really felt like I was going to get blown up by that damn fish just now. This game is actually pretty exciting!!"
After catching her breath for a while, she sat up. She didn't feel any discomfort anywhere on her body, but when she looked at her health bar in the lower-left corner, it had dropped from 100 all the way down to 50.
Half her health was gone in one explosion.
"Hiss, it took away half my health just like that!" Jenny said with a heartache. "Is there any way to recover health?!"
"Medkits can be used for treatment, but you currently do not have the raw materials needed to craft a medkit," Gaia replied.
"Alright then." Jenny felt rather helpless. "Forget it. Let's make the oxygen tank first."
"Gaia, can I craft an oxygen tank now?"
"Of course you can."
"Crafting in progress."
Gaia's voice sounded soon after. On the 3D printing platform, a group of micro-nano robots appeared once again.
Under the laser beams, the titanium ore Jenny had collected earlier melted at a visible speed, then rapidly solidified, finally forming the shape of an oxygen tank.
Another wave of amazement filled the livestream room.
[Tsk tsk, I really want one of these 3D printers!]
[Yeah, this thing is seriously capable of anything!]
[Wait a second. If Jenny gathers enough materials, could she actually build a castle in the ocean?!]
[Uh, it really seems possible! From what we've seen so far, Subnautica has an extremely high degree of freedom!]
In just over ten seconds, an oxygen tank was completed.
"Standard oxygen tank completed. Contains high-density air. Usable for thirty minutes," Gaia reminded her warmly.
"Nice! Thirty minutes is more than enough. I finally don't have to surface for air every few minutes!"
Jenny smiled. She immediately put on the oxygen tank.
The oxygen tank had some weight to it and felt a bit heavy on her back.
Tsk tsk. By the time she finished playing this game, she might actually build up some muscles!
