Chapter 1 - The Last Mission

A veteran soldier named lukas who known as the god of war was doing his last mission before he retire and live a peaceful life in some countryside. The mission was to track and eliminate illegal foreigners who is conducting a human experiment in some rural mountain. When he and his team land in the foot of mountain he lead his team. Some are going for scouting the area while he and his team begins to track the enemies as they going into the woods. They don't know that they are being monitored and the information about the mission has already been leaked before they even land. As lukas and his team walking cautiously, He give signal to his teammates to stop. Thoughts comes to lukas's mind that there's something wrong even they are already in the middle of the woods they don't see anything worth noticing like enemy patrolling or lights from camp. So he call the scout team and he doesn't get a response. Lukas mainly rely in his impeccable intuition so he response fast that they are already surrounded by the enemy and shout even before the enemy start firing at them. Lukas shout FIREEEE his teammates shock by the sudden command of lukas but they still fire in every direction. As lukas firing and go to hide in some tree's and rock. Lot's of his teammates died for not responding quickly. Until there's only lukas and his best friend Julian remain as the enemy keeps firing at them. Lukas grab Julian and tell him that someone might sabotage their mission that's why they are in peril and ask julian that he will create an opening because after this mission this two best friend will retire from service and Julian will marry his long time girlfriend so Lukas gave up the thought of living peacefully in some countryside and tell Julian that he need to live and marry his girlfriend (that he keeps bragging so much that Lukas's ear much likely fall) Julian I'll create an opening so run and don't look back no matter what you need to live. Julian's eyes is in tears and he said no no no brother if you die, we will die together I won't leave you here. Lukas grabs julian collar and said angrily don't waste our comrades sacrifice if they are all still alive now they will also tell you to run. Then Lukas tell Julian smoothly that your still young that's why you are the youngest in our team you have much more thing you don't yet to experience. Now Julian look at me run at full speed don't look back in the count of 3 Run. Julian still hesitating and Lukas smile and tell julian don't worry I won't die here don't you know who Am I? My title are not for show (Lukas keep firing back and hiding while talking to Julian at the entire time) julian resolve his emotion. Once Lukas give a signal he said RUN julian and Lukas open fire while Julian run without looking back tears running down at Julian's face. That's right Julian you need to survive and live peacefully don't ever think of revenge just live peacefully and have a family. Thoughts coming to Lukas mind while looking at Julian's back in the split second Lukas fire in his eyes ignite and his monstrous intuition kicks in and his adrenaline goes to 100% as he slaughter every enemy he is like a beast in human form. Fear in enemy eyes as if they are seeing the god of death. One of the enemy run breaking the formation as he run he is shouting MONSTER!!!. Because Lukas is like a monster cover in his blood but still refuse to give up while he is killing is enemy to the last he never let even one past him. The commander of the enemy shows up stopping his men and talk to Lukas. Lukas by that time still standing letting no one past him even though he is already lost so much blood. The commander of the enemy tell Lukas why he is suppose to die here because a monster like him is not wise to let roam freely as the enemy commander keeps talking Lukas thought because of him all of his comrades who follows him die just because he just want to live a peaceful life. He is hallucinating that all of his dead comrades are pulling him even Julian too. Before Lukas wake ups from hallucination a call keeps ringing in his ear calling his name repeatedly he saw julian running back while the enemies preparing to kill Lukas. Julian jump in and shield Lukas. Once Lukas saw Julian's dying in front of him. Lukas kneel and start crying WHY WHY WHY!! WHY DID YOU COMEBACK WHYYYY!! AHH AHHH AHHH!!! bloods pouring at Lukas's eyes. Julian tell him in his dying breath I... Can't... Leave... You... Be brother... The.. thought of.. you.. dying alone... Here... I just... Can't... I'm... Sorry... The last word of Julian what breaks Lukas. Emotion surge in Lukas anger, fear, sadness, hatred, what leads to Lukas to go berserk even though Lukas is also in verge of dying all those emotion what's keeping him to move. A beast descent, Lukas like a beast taking a knife. Pointless struggles the enemy commander said. Kill him and fed him to the dog also said. Before they could even react Lukas already killed 3 enemy and Lukas move so fast that in split seconds he already killed half of the enemy. The enemy commander shout angrily WHAT THE HELL ARE ALL DOING KILL HIM KEEP FIRING!!! HE IS ALREADY IN DEATHBED!!! but they can't seem to hit Lukas because of how agile and the terrain works perfectly for Lukas. Lukas continue to kill every enemy some even think of fleeing while shouting MONSTER!! the enemy commander also start to panic and want to escape but he didn't know that he is the only one left alive. The commander got a weak knees and failed to stand because of what he witness the commander tell Lukas to let him live and he will tell Lukas who is the mastermind that leads to Lukas's teammates to die but Lukas blinded by rage he still kill the commander. After killing the enemy commander Lukas finally fall. As he close his eyes all the thoughts running in his mind saying if I ever get a chance I'll make sure all those higher up bastard pay for what they done I'll slaughter every one of them and make them regret their action. If there is a god please give me another chance. And Lukas suddenly wakes up in grassland.
