Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

"This scent..."

Waking up from a wet dream that lasted all night, Ye Chen felt a throbbing sensation in his lower body.

The sense of realism in the replay was so intense that Ye Chen hadn't yet come back to his senses.

"Oh? Mr. Busybody, you've finally woken up."

Herta lay on the bed, resting her chin on one hand, looking at Ye Chen with a playful expression.

"I heard that someone kindly helped me cancel all my appointments," Herta said, shaking her phone. "I really have to thank you."

Ye Chen was just about to say something, but Herta interrupted him.

"So… do we still have plenty of time today?"

As she spoke, Herta sank down into the covers. In a place unseen by Ye Chen, her small hands and mouth gently latched onto his already erect member.

His body went numb, and he had no choice but to let himself be "played in the palm of her hand" by Herta, groaning in misery.

Just as things were getting steamy, Ye Chen's phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Asta.

"Ta-bao, Asta is calling, stop it…!"

Ye Chen gently patted the little mound moving under the blanket, but she seemed to have received an order, becoming even more active.

At times it was like soft spring rain, and at others like crashing waves. The swimming fish was like a desperate surfer, hungrily and thirstily wrapping itself around the lighthouse in the lonely sea.

Suddenly, it sucked backward, taking the entire warm lighthouse into its mouth, making Ye Chen tremble with pleasure.

"Hiss—"

He had just escaped the "tiger's den" of Ruan Mei in his dream, and now he had fallen into the "wolf's den" of Herta.

However, the phone kept ringing, showing no signs of stopping.

Looking at the name pulsing on his phone, then at the rising and falling under the blanket, Ye Chen gritted his teeth and swiped to answer the call.

Chapter 3: Morning Intimacy

"Hello? Ye Chen?" Asta's sweet, delicate voice came from the other end of the line.

"It's me. What's up, Ast—"

Before the "ta" could leave his lips, the little mound suddenly sank. The soft, delicate little fish, so rebellious, gently yet angrily pushed the lighthouse forward, revealing the pair of buoys hidden beneath the water.

"You're really not behaving."

Her fingertips gently traced the center of the buoys, swaying back and forth. The young girl licked her lips, seemingly quite interested in the filling inside.

Gently attaching herself to the base of the buoys, she licked the salty taste of the seawater bit by bit, as if surfacing from the bottom of the water, blowing a string of fish bubbles.

How could that be satisfying enough? The little fish gently bit the outer layer of the buoys, savoring it like delicious algae.

Only after favoring the entire area around it, and seeing the tiny marks left on the outer layer, did the little fish reluctantly pull away.

"Sss-hah—"

Facing the aggressive onslaught, Ye Chen desperately tried to suppress his expression and tone, his small head and big head fighting for control.

However, it was to little avail; clearly, the little head had the upper hand.

"Huh? Did you bump into something?" Seeing Ye Chen startled, Asta's concerned voice came from the other end.

"Ah, it's nothing, it's nothing. Right, I have an urgent matter here, let me hang up—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Chen hurriedly pressed the hang-up button.

"Eh? Ye…" The line went dead with a busy signal.

"He's really so busy…" Asta couldn't help but sigh. Ever since he started working with Herta, Ye Chen had truly become more and more overworked.

The little fish finally grew tired of the buoys and pushed the lighthouse back to the surface, where it became even brighter.

The warm sensation washed over him again, but the embrace was tighter, as if the surrounding area had been vacuum-sealed.

It was like a plunger being pushed into a syringe; the movements weren't large, but every single one made Ye Chen's progress bar dance wildly.

Finally, the lighthouse ignored the fish in the lonely sea and completed its final eruption, gradually dimming and cooling down.

Damn it, mere Herta, how dare you tease me like this!

With a desire for revenge, at the moment of the "volcanic eruption," Ye Chen pressed down hard on the hill peak that was trying to escape.

"Mm—pfft!"

A soft gasp escaped her, and the hill peak trembled gently in Ye Chen's hand, as a stream flowed down the channel toward the lower ground.

Whew—so satisfying! With his revenge achieved, his body and mood were incredibly pleasant, and he gently stroked the hardworking Herta through the blanket.

However, after a long while, he saw that the hill peak was still standing high, with no movement for a long time.

Ye Chen thought, "Oh no," and abruptly reached out to lift the blanket.

And so, their eyes met. The little fish was still holding the now-dimmed lighthouse, with a trace of the recent eruption still hanging from the corner of her mouth.

Being stared at by Herta, Ye Chen felt like he was on pins and needles, and he could only smile awkwardly.

"Ta… Ow—!!"

Herta glared and bit down.

Ye Chen checked his standing member, confirming repeatedly that it wasn't broken, and finally let out a long sigh of relief.

Twice, twice! She bit him twice!! This woman, she really is heartless!

If this thing of his broke, it wouldn't do her any good either!

Meanwhile, Herta was commanding her Herta puppets, already fully dressed.

She adjusted the brim of her hat and put her hands on her hips; that [Genius Society #83: Herta] was back.

"Although I'm very grateful that you helped me cancel everything, I really have things to do today. You can play by yourself."

Surrounded by her Herta puppets, Herta sat on The Scepter and was about to leave, but a flash of imperceptible disappointment crossed her brows.

He had forgotten. But it didn't matter; she didn't remember it that clearly either.

Just as she was about to go out, she suddenly heard Ye Chen cheer from behind.

"Ta-bao, Happy Anniversary!"

If not for the system reward reminder, Ye Chen would have indeed forgotten, but he would never forget a second time.

If you want to blame someone, blame the time calendar of this Star Rail world!

The Xianzhou uses the Star Calendar, the IPC uses the Amber Era; when they went to Jarilo-VI before, they couldn't even match the years!

Ye Chen wished he could be Qin Shi Huang for a moment and just standardize the writing and measurements right then and there.

"Sorry, I forgot."

But regardless, in the end, he was the one who forgot.

"It's fine, remember it next time."

With a slight curl of her lips, Herta maintained great tolerance for the man she had chosen.

However, she should still give him a little punishment.

The Scepter carried Herta flying back to Ye Chen's side, the metal handle at the base gently lifting his chin.

"A scholar from another world, an expert of the emotional school, the philandering [Wall-Breaker]…"

Herta gently cupped Ye Chen's cheeks, looking into those azure eyes.

"I really want to see what other secrets I can pry out of that heart-bewitching mouth of yours."

Her fingertips gently stroked the man's lips, and just as she was about to lean in, she suddenly turned and snapped her fingers at the Herta puppets.

With a mechanical sound, all the Herta puppets entered standby mode, bowing their heads and remaining motionless.

"There, no one will disturb us now."

Ye Chen took the initiative, raising his hand to hook around the back of Herta's neck, leaning in to kiss her soft, sweet lips.

It wasn't as intense as dry wood and raging fire; it was just like their first exploration, a bit green, but incredibly beautiful.

After a brief taste, the two gently separated, a thread of saliva falling to the ground like a raindrop.

"I really should go. After dilly-dallying for this long, I probably won't be able to come back tonight," Herta said, wiping the moisture from the corner of her lips. "You figure it out."

Having said that, Herta snapped her fingers again; the Herta puppets rebooted and surrounded her as they left.

Ye Chen sprawled on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

Now he was back to a question that was, for him, the simplest and yet the hardest.

Should he go find Asta and Ruan Mei at the space station to discuss academics? Or go to the Luofu to play a game of Celestial Jade with Fu Xuan and Qingque? Or perhaps head to Penacony to visit Robin on set? It was hard to choose, very hard to choose.

Suddenly, the system interface popped up, and that lonely task was very conspicuous.

[Task #176: Spend the wedding night with Fu Xuan. Reward: Star Taro Boba Milk Tea (Aphrodisiac mix)]

Why not go propose to Fu Xuan right now? She probably wouldn't refuse him.

But that would be too abrupt. He was good at doing "that kind of thing," but when it came to such serious matters, he felt a bit tied up.

Ye Chen let his thoughts wander; at this moment, he didn't know that he had forgotten two things today.

One was the anniversary with Herta.

And this other one had already come knocking at his door.

As the phone rang again, he nonchalantly picked it up. "Yo, isn't this my Fu-bao!"

"Hello, Fu-bao, what's up?"

A second ago, Ye Chen was still smug, thinking about whether to say some cheesy love lines, already able to imagine the blush on that Grand Diviner's face.

The next second, Fu Xuan's extremely loud interrogation came from the other end of the line, and he instinctively held the phone three feet away.

"Ye Chen! Did you forget that tonight is my birthday!"

Fu Xuan is cute.

Chapter 4: The Little White Rabbit Has Grown Up

The word "birthday" echoed constantly in Ye Chen's mind.

Yes, that was correct. Just as he thought. He had forgotten again! It was this damn time calendar again!

There was no other way; he had to use his ultimate move—The Fourth Mirror, activate! Help me, Lady Herta!!

That's right, it was Herta's Fourth Mirror; now he also had the highest level of access permission.

By using it, Ye Chen could go to any corner of the Star Rail world.

Of course, the premise was that he was confident he wouldn't cause any trouble or mishaps.

Thinking about having The Fourth Mirror as a fallback, Ye Chen immediately calmed down and paused lazily.

"How could that be, Fu-bao? Just think about how far it is from the space station to the Luofu. I boarded a passenger ship three days ago and set off; I'll be there soon~"

Then, changing the subject, Ye Chen said gloomily:

"But as for certain people, aren't you just used to being high and mighty…"

"Ahem…" Fu Xuan coughed lightly, her tone softening, "Ye-qing, it was I who wronged you."

Although Ye Chen had forgotten first, in order to give Fu Xuan a small lesson, he continued slowly.

"Fu-bao, the cabin is so cold, so tired, so hungry, so lonely…"

Hearing Ye Chen complain, although Fu Xuan knew the nature of this pervert, she couldn't help but feel heartache in the end.

After all, from Fu Xuan's perspective, Ye Chen had really been riding a passenger ship for three days and three nights just to come to the Luofu to attend her birthday.

"Then… then what else do you want!"

"A 'divination' tonight, how about it? Grand · Diviner · My · Lady~?"

Although she was prepared and didn't expect this guy to say anything serious, hearing Ye Chen propose it himself, Fu Xuan still suddenly blushed.

Ye Chen's "divination" was not an ordinary divination; it was…

Recalling how she had been blindfolded, her hands tied, and left to be slaughtered, along with all the messy graffiti he had drawn on her body, Fu Xuan felt her legs go weak.

"Per… pervert!" Fu Xuan chided, but she was indeed in the wrong, and it wasn't like she could refuse, was it?

Besides, once tonight passed, she would let him do whatever he wanted; what else was there that couldn't be done?

"...Fine, I agree. But you must come quickly. Once the sun sets, the birthday celebration will begin!"

After saying that, Fu Xuan hung up the phone with a snap.

"Once the sun sets is… wait, wait, wait?!"

Only the busy signal remained in his ears; Ye Chen lay back and sprawled on the bed.

Good, a new unit of time had appeared! Ye Chen looked at the sea of stars outside the space station, not knowing which one of them Fu Xuan meant by "once the sun sets."

This little girl, didn't she know there were time differences in this space station!

No longer dwelling on it, Ye Chen got up and walked to the cabinet, taking out the gift prepared for Fu Xuan from a hidden compartment.

Actually, he did remember this; the gift had been prepared long ago, but the issue of time… he really couldn't be blamed!

It was all time's fault!

The gift box was wrapped in what looked like meteors from the Milky Way, originating from the latest holographic projection technology of Pier Point; just the box alone was worth a fortune.

Although credit points were just a string of numbers to Ye Chen, he still felt a bit of a pang when he actually spent them.

However, to conquer a sweet, soft, beautiful girl, it was worth it!

The gift inside the box was even more peculiar. Thinking about what it would be used for, Ye Chen couldn't help but let out a strange chuckle.
