Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

Woah!! This thing is sick"

The Carlos brothers circled around the t20,000 jet engine and couldn't help but feel excited, with this they could probably get like 2 to 3 furnaces to the appropriate heat level for melting down these metallic bones.

"Cough cough"

While they inspected the jet fuel engine wait much excitement, Arthur's cough resounded causing them to stop and look over with some surprise.

" understand, this world has changed and we must all try our best to survive, but as long as you work for me I will keep you safe. In order for me to do that you must follow my orders to the letter"

"Else, I will find someone else. Do you understand?"

Arthur understood their pride in their craftsmanship, so he let them see the error in their ways. However, he wouldn't let arrogance destroy what he was trying to build. If they disobeyed his orders again he would let them go.

"Ah..... we understand"

The news these days were scary, and from the way Arthur was speaking, it seemed like it would only get worse From Here On Out.

They were lucky to be under the protection of someone as powerful and experienced as Arthur. But they had to do their part.

"Good, you are dismissed."

They were still oblivious of how scary the world was about to become, so he had to cut them some Slack. The nodded and began wheeling the jet engine into the workshop.

"Hmm?"

While Arthur watched the Carlos Brothers go into the workshop, I felt a gaze on him that made him flinch.

"How do you know so much about what's happening?"

Leon asked, he trusted Arthur yes, but he wanted to know what they were getting into. A massive planet appeares in the sky and Arthur suddenly knows so much about it, it was too much.

"Sigh, I read some scriptures pertaining to this a few years ago. It was during my time in peru"

Arthur of course lied through his teeth, he couldn't tell them that he had lived this moment before.

"Hmmm, so what else did you read?"

He knew Arthur was lying, but decided not to push it.

"Well, it was quite a lot of information, but the basic ones will be that this planet called Orlong, is like judgement day"

After went further to explain that in every religion and in every culture, they were prophecies of a day where everything will end 'Judgement Day' this prophecies were partly right.

But, instead of fire falling from the sky, or water consuming the earth. Judgement day was actually the day Orlong appears before earth.

"To survive we must become powerful, that is the only way to survive"

Unlike what was preached in most religions, surviving the judgement day had nothing to do with good deeds, No, only those with strength could survive.

"So Orlong is some sort of heaven?" Jack asked. He could quickly infer that Arthur was hinting that orlong was the ultimate goal.

"Yes, it is heaven to those with power. To be weak on Orlong is to be in hell"

These words from Arthur struck a cord in their heart. The situation was unchangeable, they could only achieve true happiness by gaining strength.

"This time I will do everything right."

Looking up at Orlong Arthur clenched his fists. It was place fraught with dangers and opportunities. But it was also the home to the heaven race. He still wanted revenge for what happened and was determined to exterminate his enemies.

However, he also wanted to keep his people safe. And strength was the first prerequisite to accomplishing this goal.

"Sigh!! Let's continue"

Leon's voice sound, then he brandished his Windigo Rib. There was no helping it. This was going to be an all out battle for supremacy, they had to be prepared.

"Yes."

Arthur stopped staring at the distance Orlong and faced Leon, revenge was secondary. What he wanted the most was to become strong enough to protect his people.

"Woosh!!"

Jack ran forward and swung his windigo rib forward, with all his might.

"Clang!!"

Meanwhile,

In dark wet cave in the middle of a rain forest the croaking sound of a massive frog resounded.

Right next to this frog were several eggshells that had all but broken apart.
