Jay's pov
I woke up with excitement pumping through my body. It was the morning of the trip.
The house was chaos. Section E had arrived with their respective girlfriends.
Outside it looked like our house was hosting a party or dinner for ten families. There was a line of cars just parked outside. Ci had come in David's car but the others all had their own cars.
I expected that everyone had already eaten breakfast so i grabbed a piece of bread and ran out. By bag was already at the door waiting.
Outside everyone was gathered in the shade of the driveway. Aries was there leaning against his car with Ella beside him. I waved and she waved back.
But something was wrong. Someone wasn't there...Kiefer!
I walked out the gate to see him leaning against his car staring at the gate i just walked out of.
As i walked towards him his eyes immediately followed me.
"Hey" i said as i reached him.
"Hey" he replied and pulled me closer as he did
"Why are you outside" i asked
"Waiting for you" he replied
"You could have waited inside" i responded
"Too loud" he said
i laughed slightly at his answer.
He gave me a kiss on my forehead and then proceeded to ask "Where's your bag ? I will put it in the boot"
"Inside. Let me go get it" I replied
"No need" he said already walking towards the gate.
i followed him inside to find him already on his way out. The drive was still filled with the usual chaos of section e.
After some time everyone started to come outside to prepare to leave.
Mumma and tita Gemma came outside to hug me goodbye.
"It is a three day trip mumma" i said
"I know but i will miss you" she replied
she turned to Kiefer and said "Take care of her"
Kiefer being his normal excessive self replied with "I try my best, but Jay isn't really easy to take care of when around section e"
mumma and tita laughed at what he said and Kiefer? He pulled me closer into his side. His hand resting calmly on my waist.
After the goodbyes we all got into the respective cars. I was in Kiefer's car, obviously.
Before i could do my own seatbelt Kiefer reached out and clicked it in for me. I just sighed in defeat. There was no way i could argue with him.
As he started the engine he took my hand and kissed my knuckles. He held my hand the whole way to school.
The school gave us an option, we could go in the buses provided by them or in our own cars.
Most sections chose buses from the school because they didn't want to drive but section e and some form section a were taking their cars.
In Kiefer's car i expected there to be other people but surprisingly even Ci decided to go with Dabid, so it was only me and Kiefer.
The drive would take seven hours non-stop. but knowing section e, there would be many stops.
Two hours in, we saw a waterfall on the way, most people wanted to stop and take pictures, so did section e. Most of them anyway.
We stopped at a food court near the waterfall. Those who wanted to go were being led by sir Alvin. Those who were forced to stop, like me, Kiefer and some others, were at the food court going to the toilet and grabbing snacks and coffee.
I was at a table, waiting for Kiefer to come back with our coffee when a guy, probably from another school on a trip, approached me.
"Hi" he said
"Hello" i replied
I looked around to see of Kiefer was almost near yet. I didn't like that Kiefer would come and see this guy talking to me.
"Are you here alone?" he asked
"No. I am here on a school trip" i replied
He laughed slightly. "No. I meant, are you here with a boyfriend or someone"
"Yeah actually." i replied
"Well if your looking for someone better. I am always here" he said
I didn't say anything after. I just got up and started making my way towards the coffee shop. I could feel the boy's gaze on my back.
When i reached the coffee shop, Kiefer was just leaving.
"Jay? What happened? You look scared. Is everything ok?" he asked
"No" i replied
He walked over to the nearest table and pulled me with him. He put the coffee cups on the table and turned to face me.
He took my hands and held them as he looked into my eyes, searching for what was wrong.
"What happened? tell me everything. Was it Yuri?" he asked
"No" i replied
"The what?" he asked looking deeply concerned
"While you were here getting coffee. A guy walked up to me asking if I was here alone. I told him i was on a school trip, but then she said that he was asking if i had a boyfriend. I told him i did and he said that if i was looking for someone better that he was always there." i said
"So what? You told him you have boyfriend. Did he hurt you?" he asked
"No. I just didn't like the way he thought he was better than you. No one can ever be better than you. You're the best boyfriend in the world." i said
"Really? You really think that?" he asked
"I know that." i replied
He didn't say anything more. He just pulled my close and kissed me, right there, in the middle of the food court, in the middle of people sitting and eating.
He didn't care who watched, and neither did I.
After he gave me my cup of coffee and held my free hand. He led me back to the car. When we reached everyone was already there.
"Finally. The couple returns." Felix said
"What took you so long?" Rory asked
"Probably couple business" David replied
I raised my fist at him in a playful manner. He immediately stepped back. instincts i guess.
We all got into our respective cars and started to dive towards the destination again. Kiefer's hand was in mine, our coffee in the cup holders of the car.
