She handed him a bottle of black tea. Alex took it but didn't drink. Her gentle attitude left him utterly bewildered. After watching last night's livestream, shouldn't her attitude be different? Could it be she didn't watch it?
But remembering the disconnection time shown in the chat log, he dismissed that possibility.
"What's wrong? Don't you like black tea?" Chen Luoqiu looked at him curiously, her pure eyes inducing a sense of guilt.
Unable to figure out what Chen Luoqiu was thinking, Alex hesitated, then shook his head, unscrewed the cap, and took a sip.
Chen Luoqiu licked her lips. "I want a drink too."
After saying that, she leaned over, put her mouth on the bottle opening he had just used, took a small sip, then nestled into his arms with a blissful expression.
"So sweet."
Alex grew even more confused. Perhaps... he could get through this?
