Chapter 2 - Early Arrival

Alright—Chapter 2, bringing in the Fenton lab, early advantage plays,

And he had perfect timing.

The streets of Amity Park were quiet, but he could already feel it—faint distortions in the air, like reality itself was under pressure.

The Ghost Portal hadn't activated yet.

But it was close.

Very close.

"…Good," he muttered, hands in his pockets as he stopped across the street from one very familiar house.

The Fenton Works sign creaked slightly above the gate.

He stared at it for a moment.

"This is where it all starts."

Inside that lab—

An accident would happen.

Danny Fenton would become something more.

And the entire balance of this world would shift.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"…And I'm not letting that moment go to waste."

[Quest Active: Pre-Event Advantage I]

Arrive before portal activation

Status: In Progress

He stepped forward and walked up to the front door.

No hesitation.

No doubt.

And knocked.

Footsteps approached from inside.

Heavy. Confident.

The door swung open.

And there she was.

Maddie Fenton

Tall. Athletic. Sharp eyes that instantly locked onto him like he might be a threat.

Which—fair—he kind of was.

"Yes?" she said, voice calm but alert.

He didn't miss the way her stance was slightly angled.

Ready.

Prepared.

"Hi," he replied easily. "Sorry to drop by unannounced. I'm new around here."

Not a lie.

Technically.

Her eyes scanned him quickly—reading posture, expression, intent.

"…You picked an odd house to introduce yourself to."

There it was.

Suspicion.

Good.

"I've heard about this place," he said, glancing past her slightly. "Ghost research, right?"

That got a reaction.

Small.

But noticeable.

"…Who told you that?" she asked.

He smiled faintly.

"Let's just say I'm interested in things most people don't believe in."

Silence.

A beat.

Then—

Her expression shifted.

Not relaxed.

But… intrigued.

"…You're serious."

"Very."

Another pause.

Then she stepped aside slightly.

"Come in."

He walked inside, eyes casually scanning everything.

Weapons.

Gadgets.

Tech way ahead of its time.

"Yeah…" he thought. "Jackpot."

[New Opportunity Detected]

Location: Fenton Lab (Pre-Activation State)

His pulse picked up slightly.

Not from nerves.

From anticipation.

Footsteps echoed from deeper in the house.

Louder. Heavier.

Then—

A voice.

"Who is it, Mads?! Did the mailman finally come back for round two?!"

He almost laughed.

Right on cue.

A massive figure stepped into view.

Wild hair. Huge build.

Zero subtlety.

Jack Fenton

"Whoa! We got a visitor!" Jack boomed. "You here about ghosts?! Because you came to the RIGHT place!"

"Jack," Maddie said flatly.

"What?!" he grinned.

"…We don't know him yet."

"Details!"

The MC raised a hand slightly.

"I am here about ghosts, actually."

That was enough.

Jack lit up instantly.

Maddie… watched him even more closely.

"Careful," he thought. "She's the dangerous one."

Moments later—

He was being led downstairs.

Into the lab.

And the moment he stepped in—

He felt it.

Strong.

Unstable.

Like standing next to a sleeping monster.

His gaze lifted slowly—

And landed on it.

The portal.

Inactive.

But not for long.

"…There you are."

[System Alert]

Major Event Imminent

His eyes gleamed faintly.

Because this—

This was where everything changed.

And this time?

He was already inside the room.

Maddie crossed her arms slightly.

"So," she said, watching him carefully. "You wanted to see what we do?"

He turned toward her slowly.

A calm smile on his face.

"Yeah."

Then his eyes flicked briefly back to the portal.

"I really did."

Upstairs, footsteps approached.

Lighter.

Faster.

Unaware.

Danny Fenton was getting closer.

And in just a few minutes—

He'd walk into this lab…

And the story would begin.

The MC exhaled slowly.

"Perfect timing."

Because now—

He could decide exactly how this moment played out.
