I held her close as I drove and well I knew this was risky but she needed me close so I kept her there exactly and held her tight.
She seemed to feel save in my hands and finally opened my mouth.
"Jay I know why you were there."
I made the statement and I could feel her grip my shirt even tighter.
"I'm not mad but next time tell me I'll deal with it"
I felt her hesitate.
"I...I I'm sorry I thought you hated him."
"I hate what he did to you not him and second I'm not that selfish that I would let a girl around Keriens age be fvcked."
"I know you won't but I...I was I didn't know how to tell you gago"

But I won't ask for it now she's too tired but I'm counting my queen keep up the good work by swearing.
"Jay, I'm always here for you but if I find out your roaming around late at night alone again after you potentially got kidnapped. I will make sure you don't step outside alone without me for a very long time"
I scolded her and I was sure she was pouted without having to look at her.

I said firmly but gently.
She hit my back weakly. God I hated seeing her this tired.
I kept driving the car once again drifting into silence as I held her close.

She had dozed off when we arrived so I carried her out and Angelo opened the door looking livid.
"WHY IS SHE LIKE THAT? DOES SHE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE TIME IS? WAKE HER UP NOW!"
I held my hand up
"Save your lecture for later she's tired."
Angelo was gonna argue when Aries came looking relieved.
"She's okay thank god. Keifer carry her to the room I don't want her to wake up when we exchange her."
Angelo stayed silent and that meant he agreed.

I gently carried her up the stairs and lied her down on the bed-
Under the strict eyes of Angelo. He didn't trust me not to do that to her.
I rolled my eyes and just as I walked out. I saw her aunt, tita Gemma.
I was waiting for a slap, like I got last time.
But thankfully she just talked.
"Keifer I would like to apologize."
I nodded waiting for her to blame kazier.
But to my surprise
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have slapped you and said those horrible things"
She didnt even mention Kazier.
She was always nice to me. No matter what I did.
"Thanks I appreciate the apology"
I said to her. She was like mother to me.
she could be my in law soon.
I was heading out when Angelo pulled me aside.
"What did you do to Jay?"
"Angelo how many times did I tell you we never did that. Yes we did kiss but that was it nothing more"

Angelo seemed skeptical but he told me to drive back home.
I walked out concerned for Jay. I hoped she was okay. She needed all of us.
And I was kinda upset she thought she couldn't ask me about the drew thing I would do anything for her. She should've just asked for the cash and I would've given her twice the amount.
But she was still my queen and I am always gonna use my sword to protect her.
