(Present time)
I grabbed my phone to text the girls and the first person in my mind was Rakki, even grace and Mica so I send them all a text
"Wi 0uy$ ne#d ot t@k s00w p1s t3t ke"
(Translation: Hi guys need to talk soon plz text me)
I got a reply from Rakki almost instantly but nothing from Mica and Grace
"Jay I don't understand can u text again or call me"
I read Rakki's text out to myself.
Shit was my texting that bad? I just immediately pressed the call button
"Hi Rakki I need your help urgently it's really important. So is it possible for me to meet you at uhm..."
I glanced around and quickly said
"Stone hearts cafe. On Eastwood street near the Bennet hospital"
Rakki seemed to stay quiet before she spoke again
"Uhm Jay I can spare like 45 minutes and it'll take me 15 minutes to get their so if we can get it done in 30 minutes I'll be there"
"Yes I can be done plz text me when you get there"
I said already walking to the cafe and I sat down immediately and this waiter approached me
"Ma'am food or drinks?"
"Uhm just a water I'm waiting for someone"
The man nodded and returned to serving other customers.
I waited anxiously for Rakki but it would still take her about 6 or 7 minutes to get here.
While waiting I couldn't brush off the feeling I was being watched but I was the only one here beside this couple who seemed to be almost. I was feeling uneasy sitting at the window.
I gripped my phone a little tighter and I noticed texts from the king and horoscope
From: Horoscope
"Jay all good how is it going at you in yet?"
Dammit I felt guilty for lying to him. He cared soo much and I was being manipulative and cruel to him. Shit Jay... I'm a bitch
I texted back quickly
"N0 eewd 70 w0qqy 1m gi#3"
(Translation: no need to worry I'm fine)
From: deaf king
"Baby all good? got home safe?"
I was trying to be annoyed but I couldn't at how sweet the message was I smiled to myself but before I could reply Rakki entered and sat across me.
And damn she looked good like the black dress and cute jacket with hair down and perfect make up.
"Rakki, bro you look great"
Rakki smiled warmly before sitting
"Do you have any other plans?"
I saw her blush slightly as she started speaking
"Well I'm planning to meet c-in"
I smirked before teasing her and she blushed harder.
"Jay...stop now what did you need? It sounded important"
I returned back to the present and I gulped
"Rakki this is a serious issue and well I urgently need 5,000 you I know it's a lot to ask and it's unreasonable but Rakki plz its urgent"
Rakki seemed to hesitate
"Jay I'll be honest with you cause I know you won't judge me and well I do have that money which I've been saving for about 8 months but I need it for something I've been saving for and honestly I'm willing to pay you but I might need the cash back soon"
"Yes Rakki I can return it as soon as possible like in about just a week"
Rakki looked hesitant but she seemed to trust me
"Jay I trust you but this amount of cash is really really important I need it back in a week..."
I nodded before speaking
"Rakki I promise you I will pay you back"
Rakki shifted a little uncomfortably before pulling out her phone and transferring me th cash.
"I promise you won't regret trusting me"
Rakki nodded before glancing at the time.
"Have fun on your date ... I know you will"
I teased as I watched her blush and get up.
That's when I realized I had true friends I could reply upon whenever I needed...
