'Not now!'
I sidestepped another spike shot by the Warhammer Titan as the Jaw slashed its claws through several trees behind me. I slammed my fist into its face plate, sending it staggering back as the bony plate cracked.
I didn't get to do anything else as the Beast Titan swung its gangly arm at me, and the Cart Titan lunged from below to grab me with its jaws. Despite knowing I could easily kill all four of them, I was still a bit nervous.
Yeah, I could easily remove all Restraint levels and tear them limb from limb, but that wasn't any fun! Plus, I'd rather not make the gap between the rest of my classmates and me any bigger.
They were still accepting of me, but I could tell they felt different now that I was 'technically' a licensed hero and had killed one live TV in front of the whole world. Sasha, of course, treated me the same, but I could feel the subtle distance that was growing between me and the others.
Momo was the same cheerful, smart girl she always was, just a bit quieter now. Mina, Kirishima, and Toru still shouted my name when they saw me and needed help with something. Kaminari and Sero still asked me tons of questions about food in America.
But I could feel the change. Well, Mei wasn't any different either, I suppose, but she's more worried about her babies than me. Speaking of which, I should be more worried about dealing with the massive Titans trying to kill me rather than thinking about the others.
I shift my body as Pieck's jaws snap shut where I was the moment before. A swift kick shattered her jaw as a left hook shattered Zeke's fist. Another swipe smacks the spike out of the air before it could reach me as I get annoyed at the Warhammer Titan.
Ignoring the pained growling from the Titans near me, I shot towards the Warhammer as it formed a sword and swung the oversized weapon. Not wanting to risk any more harm to myself or my clothes, I dropped sharply as the blade flashed over me, and I shattered one of its knees.
It staggered but didn't fall as I caved in the other one, bringing the Warhammer Titan closer down as I searched for the tube that should lead to the shifter controlling it. Not gonna lie, I panicked when I didn't see the tube.
That split second was enough for Zeke to grab my entire body and squeeze as hard as possible as I tried to figure out where the Warhammer's shifter could be.
'No tube going into the ground like what happened in the show. Maybe the wielder is actually in the nape this time?'
I break out of Zeke's grasp and backhand the Jaw as I see the Warhammer repositioning. Still no tube. Where could it be? I summon several Gaster Blasters to keep the other Titans busy as I focus my attention on the Warhammer Titan.
Feeling the pressure without its backup, I easily dismantle the Warhammer's meager defense as I tear into its hardened nape. Even compared to Zeke's, this was a bit much, and I finish tearing it open to find nothing but flesh.
'Then where could it be? Surely not the brain? That spot gets targeted too often for it to be useful in that way.'
With Zeke and the others almost finished with the blasters, I tear the Warhammer Titan's head off before rising into the air to smash it open. Again, I broke it open to find nothing, not even a brain this time. Granted, I didn't even know if Eren and Armin's Titan forms had brains, but it was still strange.
'Ok, the body should not be doing THAT!'
I watched as the headless body of the Warhammer Titan slowly stood back up as its body emitted steam, healing slowly but visibly as the Jaw Titan tore apart the last Gaster Blaster.
'The only other place I can think of would be the chest area, but I'd better deal with them first.'
I then blur behind the Jaw and rip its head off as a blaster forms, and it carries the head up into the air. The Cart immediately turns to run as another trio of blasters chase after it, and I turn to Zeke.
"You guys are either really lucky or unlucky. I imagine Levi has been hunting you for years with how Eren and them spoke about you, but I didn't think other Titans were still here."
Zeke didn't say a word as I spoke, despite me knowing very well he could, even in his titan form. Let's try something else then.
"I'm actually surprised you four were able to get into the country. With the Attack Titan being here, I'd think they'd beef up security, not to mention the Colossal." I grinned as Zeke's ape-like face scowled.
"You know very little, you demon. You should let us be while you still have a chance." I snorted at that since I'd already incapacitated two of the four titans here, with the Cart not far behind.
"So says the Warchief who lost the Colossal. I don't know the whole story, but I do know the Armored and Female Titans are undercover, right? To think they'd be sleeping right next to the very devils they're supposed to hate."
"How do you know that!" Zeke exploded as he reached his clawed hands towards me. The Warhammer also rose at that moment as it thrust its sword at my spine. I dropped as Zeke had his hand impaled by the Warhammer Titan.
He snarled and shoved the other Titan back as he lifted his foot to stop on me. I was in the air again before his foot came crashing down as Zeke sank slightly into the earth. I smacked the sword from the Warhammer's grip before ducking under another wild blow.
Needing to separate the two, I kicked Zeke in the jaw before punching through the Warhammer's chest cavity, where I finally found the shifter controlling it. Just like in the show, the shifter for the Warhammer Titan was encased in a large hardened shell.
It was still transparent enough for me to see the woman inside, and for her to see me as the Warhammer Titan collapsed behind me. I lightly tapped the crystal shell as Zeke slowly rose to try and stop me.
I shattered the crystal before he could fully rise, though I did have to remove two Restraint Levels to do it. That alone showed how strong the titan hardening was, and how extreme Viltrumite strength was.
Obviously, everyone knew how strong Viltrumites are; Nolan, Mark, and Thaddeus destroying an entire planet prove that. Not to mention Thragg and Battlebeast going at it. Titan hardening was something else, though.
Not only was Eren unable to break it open with his jaws, but it also took him smashing the crystal against the Jaw Titan's face plate, and for the Jaw Titan to then be used to crush the crystal before Eren was able to get its power.
The second I had the Warhammer's shifter in my arms, I wrapped her tightly with flames to keep her from harming herself as a Gaster Blaster appeared and took her into the sky, and just like that, I had a hostage.
A few popping sounds reached me as bullets plinked off my skin; I looked down to see the Jaw Titan's wielder now out and seething. I sent another Gaster Blaster to make sure he didn't transform again as I gave Zeke my undivided attention.
"Mind telling me what offer Tomura sent you? I might be able to keep Levi from killing you, just saying." I tried as Zeke scowled and threw a wild haymaker as I sighed and tore the limb off.
I ignored his roaring as I ripped his Titan shell apart and broke the limbs on his real body once it was out in the open. "I gave you several chances to not mess up, but sure, we'll do it your way."
I then wrapped Zeke and the Jaw shifter up tight as I flew back to where the others were, to find somehow even more chaos.
Eren was busy wrestling with the Cart Titan, as about a dozen Nomu tried their best to kill my classmates and friends, all while Tomura looked on with glee.
I shot forward, leaving the shifters behind as I shattered the heads of the largest Nomu before turning to Tomura. "Took you long enough." He sneered as he pulled out a gun and shot at me.
I gave him an odd look as the bullet plinked harmlessly off my skin. It didn't even scratch me. "I'm almost insulted by that, really dude? I killed you Master, a monster who's gone toe to toe with ALL MIGHT, and you shoot me with a pistol?"
Tomura shrugged, completely unbothered, as a portal opened behind him to spit out more Nomu. "I knew it wouldn't hurt you; I just wanted to get your attention." I instantly expanded my perception all around me, only to find nothing as I calmed down.
"Pussy." Tomura cackled as the rest of the League emerged, along with several other Nomu, followed by Gigantomachia of all things? I triggered an alarm that signaled Nezu things had gone off the deep end, as a silent signal made the Nomu disengage from the class and form up with the League.
A loud snapping sounds signals the end of the Cart Titan as Eren tears here head from the body and another Gaster Blaster collects Pieck for safekeeping. Eren the gets behind the class as Sasha grabs my hand and squeezes it.
"No matter what happens, know that I love you." She says softly.
