Chapter 857 - Luo Hao’s Live Stream! Seele is Fantasizing About the Future

Chapter 857: Luo Hao's Live Stream! Seele is Fantasizing About the Future

Cult Leader Luo Hao stood before the ancient, ornate architecture of the Japanese shrine, her beautiful features marred by a veil of absolute, icy disdain.

Her reason for wanting to slaughter the Heretic God Sun Wukong was simple: the Great Sage Equal to Heaven was originally a legendary hero of her own homeland. For such a revered figure to be kept like a chained beast, played with and paraded around by the island nation of Japan, was a sin she could not forgive. To know of this monkey's humiliating existence and simply leave him be would be a permanent stain on her peerless reputation.

She had been waiting for this moment of judgment for a very long time.

A century ago, when she first encountered him, she had attempted to shatter his seal by force, violently blowing up the shrine and all the surrounding temples in a fit of rage. However, that attempt had ended in failure simply because she could not force her way into the Netherworld Corridor where his true body was kept.

But things were different now.

After integrating the enhancements from the Chat Group, her power had undergone a qualitative evolution. It had fundamentally broken away from the rigid, restrictive laws of the original Godslayer system.

The simplest and most intuitive manifestation of this evolution was her spell power.

Spell power was the absolute foundation required for magic to manifest its strength in the world. A Godslayer's body naturally contained hundreds of times the spell power of an ordinary supreme magus. This immense density granted Godslayers an overwhelming resistance to all forms of magecraft. Both benevolent healing spells and malevolent curses would be violently repelled upon contact with their skin. Unless magic or potions were directly injected into their bodies through intimate, mouth-to-mouth contact, external spells were entirely useless. As long as a Godslayer strengthened the internal flow of their spell power, wide-area magic would automatically nullify around them.

However, despite a Godslayer possessing a monstrous amount of spell power, their total capacity was strictly fixed. It was a hard limit that would never naturally increase. If excessively consumed, it required a painfully long time to regenerate, only recovering quickly if their fighting spirit reached an absolute peak during a life-or-death battle.

Even someone as peerlessly powerful as Luo Hao could not avoid this ironclad rule of their world.

Yet, her current state had completely shattered that limitation. Luo Hao's spell power had already surged past its original maximum threshold, and it showed every sign of continuing to break through to higher realms.

This boundless, growing strength was the source of her absolute confidence in marching directly to the shrine today.

Right before she shattered the seal to release the imprisoned Heretic God, Luo Hao casually opened the interface of the Doomsday Chat Group.

[Ding! Doomsday Chat Group member Luo Hao has started a live stream!]

[Ding! Ren has entered the live stream room!]

[Ding! Shiroyasha has entered the live stream room!]

Exusiai: "Hmm? Why did she suddenly start a live stream out of nowhere?"

Shiroyasha: "It is indeed strange. The one starting the stream actually isn't Ren for once."

Shiroyasha: "Ren, what do you think about this?"

Ren: "What do I think?"

Ren: "[Image Attached]"

Ren: "I'm watching calmly while sprinting."

Aqua: "???"

Stella: "Hiss... there's absolutely no need to specifically send out images like that!"

Nami: "Wait a second, why do the person currently being carried and the two sleeping girls on either side of them look somewhat similar?"

Artoria: "Your observation is not wrong."

Artoria: "Yaeko is Shouko and Yuzuru's mother."

Nami: "Emmm... as expected of you, Ren. You really don't hold back."

Silver Wolf: "Tsk, you're really something else, you know that?"

Artoria: "Actually, that Ren just finished a massive battle with several hundred of us not too long ago."

Durandal: "..."

Emma: "W-w-w-what kind of situation is this..."

Shiroyasha: "So many beautiful girls gathered together, it's truly an enviable sight! Ah, the youth!"

Ch'en: "???"

Kushina: "There is something seriously wrong with your head!"

Hellish Blizzard: "Alright, stop it, all of you. Let's not discuss his bedroom habits for now. Quickly, look at the live stream."

Tsunade: "I see it. Why did a giant monkey suddenly pop out of nowhere?"

Within the live stream footage, the atmosphere had grown suffocatingly tense.

Luo Hao raised her delicate hands and clapped them together. The sound cracked through the air like a thunderbolt.

Instantly, a gigantic, golden Arhat phantom manifested behind her, radiating an overwhelming, oppressive martial aura. Without a second of hesitation, she slammed her palm down toward the earth. The golden phantom mirrored her movement, driving a colossal, glowing palm directly onto the shrine below.

Even if the shrine's guardians had tried to run out and stop her, they were far too late.

Of course, mortal mages could never hope to stop a Godslayer in the first place—let alone Luo Hao, who had now arguably become the strongest Godslayer in her world after transcending the system entirely.

With that single, devastating palm strike, the earth violently shook. Deep fissures cracked open across the courtyard as a deafening roar echoed through the mountains.

The ancient shrine was completely, utterly pulverized into dust and splinters.

At that exact moment, a blinding pillar of golden light shot up into the sky from the ruins of the shattered seal.

"Roar!!!"

A violent, devastating bellow erupted from the light. The towering figure that stepped out from the golden glow was an enormous, terrifyingly muscular ape.

Watching the screen, Ren's eyes narrowed slightly.

He already understood exactly what Luo Hao was trying to accomplish.

At the same time, his own physical rhythm in the real world reached its absolute peak.

"Yaeko, catch."

Yaeko gracefully accepted the heavy burden, her throat working with a soft, rhythmic swallow, all under the quiet, heavy-lidded gazes of Shouko and Yuzuru resting beside them.

Gulp...

After a soft, wet sound, Yaeko, who had been ruthlessly 'carried' through the session, finally got a brief chance to catch her breath. Her chest heaved, a flushed, beautiful mess of sweat and exhaustion.

"Ren-kun, don't move... let me handle the rest~"

Despite her overwhelming fatigue, Yaeko pushed through, proactively taking care of the aftermath with gentle, devoted hands.

Ren let out a long breath, thoroughly satisfied.

Leaning back against the headboard, he opened the Chat Group interface once again.

Ren: "Sprint over."

Bronya: "Cough... you really don't have to report things like that to the group."

Ren: "Bronya, your mother said she misses you very much. Do you want to come over and play?"

Bronya: "Huh?"

Silver Wolf: "Don't believe a word he says. He just wants to sprint you next."

Bronya: "Ugh… I…"

Far away in Belobog, Bronya, who had been diligently organizing a stack of administrative documents on her heavy mahogany desk, suddenly froze. A furious, bright red blush spread from her neck all the way to the tips of her ears.

Seele, who was lounging on a sofa next to her, caught the sudden shift in demeanor and raised an eyebrow. "Bronya? Are you feeling unwell? Your face is completely red."

Bronya gripped her pen tightly, far too embarrassed to explain the exact context of the chat.

Still, she bit her lip and weakly asked, "Um… Seele, Ren… he just said he wants to invite us over to play. Do you have any free time later?"

Instantly, Seele's eyes lit up with a brilliant, unmistakable gleam. She bolted upright from the sofa.

"Now?! I have time! I have time anytime!"

Bronya blinked, completely stunned by the immediate, desperate enthusiasm.

"That's not right," Bronya pointed out, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. "Didn't you just tell me twenty minutes ago that the Underworld is still in ruins, there's a massive amount of reconstruction to do, and you're incredibly busy?"

Seele awkwardly paused, her confident posture deflating for a fraction of a second as she rubbed the back of her neck.

"Cough... well, anyway, I don't actually have much to do with the day-to-day management stuff! Natasha and the Wildfire crew are way better at handling all that paperwork."

Desperate to move past her own hypocrisy, Seele quickly changed the subject, leaning over Bronya's desk. "So, how do we find Ren?"

Seele just wanted to see him. Right now. The mere mention of Ren's name had sent her restless heart hammering wildly against her ribs.

Bronya stared at her friend with a highly complicated expression.

She really did miss her mother very much. She had originally calculated that if she brought a few other people along with her, she could safely visit without getting 'sprinted' by Ren.

But looking at Seele now—who was acting entirely out of character and practically vibrating with eagerness—Bronya realized she had made a severe tactical error. Seele was already compromised. She would definitely have to call on a few more reliable people for backup.

But the words had already been spoken, and she couldn't take the invitation back.

Sighing softly, Bronya adjusted her collar. "It will be a little while. I need to finish dealing with these urgent matters at hand first."

"Alright..."

Hearing that she still had to wait, Seele slumped back, a sudden, heavy sense of loss washing over her features. Yet, despite the pout on her lips, her eyes remained fixed on the air in front of her, clearly anticipating that moment with vivid imagination.

Watching Seele suddenly turn into a completely different, lovesick person, Bronya seriously began to doubt whether making this decision was a massive mistake.
