My first instinct is to scream in panic, unexplainable fear seizes me, I can feel my heart falling to my stomach and pulsing hard in my throat. "Don't bother, they can't hear you," something says in a guttural voice, I can't see anything and I'm trying to bend low and hide from this thing, cold sweat is dripping down my back and forehead. I'm holding my breath and I can't hear anything for a minute until suddenly I feel a wing on my hand.
"Gotchu precious princess," the guttural voice says, its stinky breath making me wrinkle my nose in disgust unconsciously, suddenly I'm wrenched from the position I'm in, into the warm feathery body of this monster, I'm struggling, flailing wildly. "Rest my sick princess, struggling is useless," it pats my forehead with its rough hands, its sharp nails scratching my forehead.
