Chapter 23 - Chapter 23:-

Vikram had been forced to hand over the entire case to Inspector Ashok…

but it was clear from his face—this story was far from over.

Ashok had no idea that Vikram was still working on the case from behind the scenes.

Quietly, Vikram called Ravi and Pankaj…

and asked them to meet him at his house with all the evidence they had gathered so far.

Days passed like this…

One… two… three…

Six days went by.

And in those six days, Inspector Ashok had practically buried the case—

files locked away in cupboards… no investigation… no movement…

As if someone had deliberately tried to suppress the truth.

On the sixth day…

Ravi, Pankaj, and Lady Constable Meena arrived at Vikram's house.

All three together: "Jai Hind, sir!"

Vikram: "Jai Hind… sit down.

Tell me—what did you find?"

There was visible tension on Meena's face.

Meena: "Sir… we've found something very important… and common in all cases…"

Vikram leaned forward slightly.

Vikram: "What is it?"

Meena spoke slowly—

Meena: "Sir… every girl we spoke to said the same thing…"

"On the wedding night… when they stayed in the haveli…"

"They suddenly fell into a very deep sleep…"

"And woke up only in the morning…"

Silence.

A heavy, unsettling silence filled the room.

Meena (nervously): "Sir… it's as if someone drugged them… made them unconscious."

Pankaj immediately added—

Pankaj: "Sir… I don't think this case is just about forced or fraudulent marriages…"

"There's something much bigger behind all this…"

Vikram's eyes darkened.

He spoke slowly—

Vikram: "Yes… I'm starting to think the same…"

"…and I fear…"

"…that something terrible may have been done to these women."

The three officers looked at each other.

Now they understood—

This was not just a murder case anymore…

This was something far darker… far more dangerous.

Vikram made an immediate decision.

Vikram: "Listen carefully… none of this must get out."

"Not to the station… not to Ashok… not to anyone."

"From what I understand…"

"Vivek used his influence to get me removed from the case…"

"Which means…"

"…he's afraid."

Silence returned once again.

All three officers stood up straight and saluted—

"Yes, sir!"

They left the files on the table and walked out.

Vikram sat there alone…

Files scattered across the table…

Statements from the girls…

And one question echoing in his mind—

• If all the girls were made unconscious…

• then what exactly happened inside the haveli that night…?

He slowly clenched his fist.

"Whatever it takes… I will bring the truth out."

Now the real question was—

What secret is hidden behind the closed doors of the haveli…

that required such a massive conspiracy to keep it buried?

And will Vikram reach the truth… or will the system silence him forever?

What do you think, what is the real truth.

And what will happen next?
